When Hamzah Met Alifa

When Hamzah Met Alifa
Guru Najai Alifa

Alifa got on the bus while putting earphones in her ears. The tote bag hangs on his left shoulder while the other hand holds a can of soda.

Alifa circulated a look looking for a seat that she thought was comfortable. Then he smiled when he saw one of his friends named Caca waving and patting the empty bench next to him.

Alifa walked over and sat down next to Caca, a friend she had known since high school.

"Tumbens. You get on the bus. Usually the same driver," said Caca as soon as Alifa sat next to him.

"Yes, here. I was punished with Oma. Because I was males naji," said Alifa with his lips.

Then he took a sip of the canned drink in his hand and said, "Know no, there was a really rude guy. He was sitting next door at the same stop I just kept drinking the drinks I tried."

Caca chuckled at Alifa's complaint while shaking his head. "Why don't you be sincere, Fa. Count alms."

"Yeeee. Just delicious. My pocket money man is also again cut to the same Oma."

Caca again chuckles at the behavior of his friend who can indeed be said to be calculating. Then Caca remembered the book that Alifa had borrowed so he asked her.

"Eh, Fa. My book that you borrowed last week has gone wrong yet?"

"Oh yeah. There's this in the bag" said Alifa who immediately opened her tote bag.

And at that moment, Alifa was stunned to see one thing stored in the bag. For a few seconds Alifa could not even pucker up at that thing.

Caca who saw the strangeness of his best friend also peeked into the bag. "What's up, Fa?"

"Astagfirullahaladzim," cried Alifa with round eyes.

Because Alifa had just remembered that canned drinks were bought, she put them in a bag. Then Alifa played the phone until came the man who sat down and drank the same canned drink that Alifa bought.

Alifa only realized that she had misunderstood the man. He thought the man had taken his drink. Alifa herself grabbed the man's drink.

Then Alifa told her misunderstanding to Caca. Instead of providing a solution, instead Caca laughed loosely.

It made Alifa furrow her eyebrows in confusion and she asked, "Kok you even laugh anyway? What's so funny?"

"Nothing's funny, Fa. You're just a really romantic you know."

The wrinkles of Alifa on the forehead are increasingly visible. He is increasingly confused about Caca's words that he cannot understand yet.

"Romantic how?"

"Yes romantic. Because you drank on his lips. Cieee. Like the apostle of Allah the same siti Aisyah knows. Cie cie cie."

Alifa could only bleat and nudge hard Caca who was laughing even harder. "What the hell. If I had a different case. It wasn't intentional."

"It's still, Fa. His name was a kiss with an intermediary device," said Caca continued to tease Alifa.

Until unconscious cheeks Alifa met red because it continues to be teased by Caca. At that instant, Alifa's mind became imagined by the young man's face.

A young man who may be one or two years older than Alifa. Although at first glance the young man was handsome but still looked innocent and simple.

Alifa shook her head to stop imagining the young man's face. Just then, Alifa's cell phone rang indicating that there was one incoming message.

The message was from Oma Haida. Grandma from Alifa's birth mother.

"Next don't come home too late! Oma there is a new teacher for you with Joseph."

Benak Alifa again imagined the figure of her new ngaji teacher. Surely an old man who likes to be angry and if the lecture must make Alifa sleepy.

Just imagining it makes Alifa lazy. Especially facing directly.

"What else, Fa? How come you're pouting mutely?" Caca asked again after seeing his friend's gloomy expression lately.

The two of them were getting off the bus and walking up to the campus gate when Alifa told me about her grandmother who had found her teacher.

"Yes, you pray, Fa. So that this time the teacher is handsome, young, and still single" Caca chuckled cheerfully. "Lumayan, can be made a future husband."

At once Alifa opened her eyes while raising a glare of sharp eyes towards Caca. He pinched Caca's arm so hard that his friend complained of pain.

"You are, huh? If it can not be filtered using a coconut sieve."

Caca grimaced as he rubbed his reddened arm from Alifa's pinch.

"Yes sorry, Fa," said Caca with a manyun lip. "But my advice is really. You're gonna have to find a life partner, Fa. Don't be bothered with Kevin."

"Alifa," cried a familiar male voice in Alfah's ear. Make Alifa and Caca stop the step instantly.

The man was behind Alifa. But without needing Alifa to turn her head she already knew who was shouting to call her.

"Long live people," muttered Alifa to Caca.

"Alifa," said Kevin who ran over to Alifa. The man smiled so much that he showed a row of white teeth.

While Alifa remained unmoved. Even he looked away when Kevin was right in front of him.

"What business is it?" ask Alifa ketus.

"Alifa, will you have time in the afternoon? We're going to the cinema? There is an exciting new film, you know," said Kevin still put on a dazzling smile despite Alifa surly face.

"Can I come?" Caca who was in the middle of Alifa and Kevin asked expectantly.

"By dong" replied Kevin. "But don't be a mosquito repellent?"

Alifa clucked in annoyance. Without looking at Kevin's face, he replied, "Sorry. Later in the afternoon I was told by Oma to njai."

"Saws?" ask Kevin not to believe it. Then he chuckled as if he was mocking Alifa. "Yes, Fa. You just tell Oma you, her salary is back tomorrow. You use the excuse of college work or what cake."

"Yes, Fa. He said you're males naji" said Caca.

Then at once, Alifa immediately stepped on Caca's feet without mercy. He also widened his eyes as a signal for his friend to be quiet.

Then Alifa threw a straight glance at Kevin. "Cannot. I promised Oma I'd pay this afternoon."

And the next second, Alifa walked first leaving Caca and kevin. He deliberately sped up the pace so that Kevin could not catch up to him.

It's not without reason that Alifa avoided Kevin. Since first entering college, the man who is famous for changing his girlfriend is always eyeing Alifa to be his lover.

Alifa looked back and did not see Kevin. So that Alifa also breathed a sigh of relief.

Then the inner Alifa said, "May guru najai this time do not nyebelin as usual."
