When Hamzah Met Alifa

When Hamzah Met Alifa
First Night

Alifa bowed her head in lethargy. She simply did not believe that from this second, her status had changed to that of a man named Hamzah.

How did this happen?

Alifa still could not believe that. Within twenty-four hours Alifa's life changed completely.

He who yesterday asked Hamzah not to expect marriage with him. Now he asked Hamzah to ask her.

Alifa smiled wryly as she looked at the people sitting around her. When everyone prayed for a newlywed couple, Alifa was just silently pensive.

Meanwhile, Hamzah who was sitting beside Alifa glanced through the tail of his eyes. He could tell if Alfah was forced to accept this marriage.

But how else. Hamzah was forced to marry Alifa after he learned the real reason.

Haida has long been suffering from a serious illness. The old woman just wanted to make sure that Alifa was guarded by the right person before she went to face the Almighty God.

At Alifa's request, there was no reception at Alifa and Hamzah's wedding. Actually Alifa even wanted to hide this marriage from anyone.

So that after the ijab qobul event is finished, there are only small parties attended by the Hamzah family.

On the part of the family of Alifa were only Haida and Joseph. The two parents of Alifa did not even attend the wedding, which made Alifa even more sad and feel wasted.

"I want to rest" Alifa said to Hamzah with a flat face without expression.

"Our room is over there" Hamzah pointed at a small door in the corner of the house.

Alifa's body shuddered when Hamzah said the phrase 'our room'. The shadow of the first night also disturbed the soul of Alifa suddenly.

Alifa shook her head to expel the dirty thoughts lodged in her mind. Then he stepped foot into the room.

Alifa turned the doorknob, opened it slowly and then circulated the gaze.

A simple yet neat room. There was only a bed that only fit one person.

Alifa stared at her bed. How could he and Hamzah possibly share a bed on such a small bed? There they will definitely sleep in a crammed condition.

Not wanting to think long, Alifa immediately laid her body on the mattress. His body feels tired. The burden of the mind has drained away its energy on this day.

Alifa felt like she had been lying in bed for a while, but suddenly the door opened and Hamzah entered the room.

Suddenly, alifa's heart rate increased rapidly. Especially when he opened his eyes and found Hamzah who was undressing.

Alifa tried to swallow her saliva. He was really made nervous when Hamzah unmitigatedly let half his body be shown to Alifa.

"Ehem," Alifa deliberately cleared her throat making Hamzah jump in shock and immediately turned to look towards the bed.

Hamzah's eyes widened. It was as if he had just realized that from now on he was sharing a room with someone else.

"Sorry, Hamza. You know I actually had to accept this marriage. So I will not serve you as a wife and you also have no right to force me," said Alifa with a sour face.

Hamzah took a deep breath and nodded his head slowly. "I know. I'm just gonna change clothes and then after that I'm gonna sleep outside."

Then Hamzah opened the closet, took a t-shirt and home pants. While Alifa tried to turn her face so as not to see Hamzah who was changing clothes.

Shortly after, Alifa heard the sound of the door closing. Alifa looked back and apparently Hamzah was no longer in his place.

The room is only a feature of Alifa. It made Alifa feel quite relieved. At least he wasn't forced to serve Hamzah on their first night.

Then Alifa pulled the blanket and did not take long, she fell asleep and lulled into the dreamland.

However, right then and there, Alifa felt that something was shaking her body along with the voice of the person calling her name.

"Alifa," call the man. "Alifa."

"Hem."

"Wake up! We pray dawn yuk!"

Alifa opened half her eyes due to the stinging drowsiness. He looked at the person who was already standing before him.

Then Alifa let out a breath. Then said in a hoarse voice typical of people waking up, "You are the one who prays, ah. I'll just go later."

"We're jama'ah yuk. Let the reward be more gedhe," Hamzah persuaded full of patience.

Alifa clucked lazily. His eyes that closed again seemed very difficult to open.

"No, ah. I'm still fucking it."

Hamzah smiled at Alifa's childlike behavior. An ignorant idea flashed through Hamzah's mind.

So he pulled up the blanket that covered Alifa's body and lay down beside her. Hamzah tilted his body with one hand that was coiled around Alifa's waist.

"Do you want to know how not to sleep?" Hamzah asked as his hands tightened the embrace in Alifa's stomach.

Sontak Alifa who felt Hamzah's embrace immediately widened her eyes. His heart raced very fast as well as his entire body that suddenly rippled.

With a quick movement, Alifa threw Hamzah's arm, got off the bed and stood with her body still shaken.

"What do you want? Don't fuck around!" alifa shouted in a loud voice.

Semantara Hamzah chuckled to see Alifa glaring at him with her long hair that was as messy as a lion.

Then Hamzah put his index finger to his lips as a signal to keep Alifa quiet. "Don't be noisy! The horror of others."

Alifa sighed, her lips she pushed forward and she sat back on the edge of the bed.

"Yuk, we pray!" take Hamzah for the umpteenth time.

"Males, cold."

Hamzah commented a small smile while looking at Alifa. Even though the woman turned and did not want to look back at him.

"You know, three practices that if done can abort sin. First, walk to the mosque to perform congregational prayers. Second, wait for prayer time, and third…"

"Ah, that's it. No need to talk. I was sleepy" cried Alifa who was about to lie down again.

However, the actions of Alifa were actually prevented by Hamzah by hugging Alifa's body tightly. Hamzah hugged and restrained Alifa so that she would not lie back to sleep.

"The third, ablution in difficult times. Like in a cold or sick state. As you are experiencing now" Hamzah continued.

Alifa took a deep breath trying to stay calm even though her heartbeat was getting less and less.

"But I didn't bring a mukena" Alifa said.

Hamzah smiled again and began to loosen his embrace. "We pray in the mosque. There's a lot of mucenas."

Alifa scratched her head that was not itching. Makes her hair more tangled. "Yes, yeah, ah."
