WIFE TO MY HUSBAND
CHAPTER 23.

"Nisa! Please come upstairs for a minute. I want to talk" Zidan said after speaking with Alan.

Deghs

Nisa immediately raised her head and moved to follow Zidan who had already climbed back to the second floor.

"Wait, Nis." Bu Sekar held Nisa's hand.

"Otherwise, Mom?" nisa's getting upset.

Bu Sekar stood up and aligned his body with Nisa.

"Remember what Mother said earlier, do not let you regret for defying Mother, Nisa." Bu Sekar whispered beside Nisa's ear.

Nisa took a step back with a frightened look, this was not her mother, even Bu Sekar had never previously forced any will on Nisa.

Bu Sekar stood around his waist as he saw Nisa running up the stairs, leaving him speechless.

"If you can't count on me, I'll make a thousand and one ways to reach out to Mom's wishes. Just look out for you, Nisa," growled Bu Sekar staring at the floor that was occupied by Nisa.

"A-what's up, Mom? Ma'am?" nisa asked timidly as she walked closer towards Adel and Zidan who were sitting on the second floor balcony.

Two glasses of green tea and a plate of pancakes seemed to decorate the table in front of them, Nisa gulped her own saliva because her stomach suddenly felt hungry. But he did not have enough courage to ask Adel for food, as his honeymooner.

"Sit here, Nis." point Adel at a chair next to him.

Zidan moved from his place to Adel's side, letting Nisa sit alone on their left.

"What's up, Ma'am?" repeat Nisa curious.

Nisa was a little scared because Adel's face now looks flat and no more smiles that adorn his face like the first time he met Nisa again.

"Nisa, I'm sorry that this marriage is making you depressed," Adel whispered.

Nisa shook her head and shook her five fingers quickly.

"Ng-no! Absolutely not, Mother."

Adel glanced at Nisa at a glance, looking as if hanging under his eyes.

"Oh yeah?" Nisa forced a bitter smile on her lips.

"I-yes, Ma'am. Sorry, Ma'am is Nisa wrong? If Nisa hurts Adel's sister's heart, Nisa apologizes profusely," said Nisa trembling.

Guilt re-spaired in the recesses of her heart, repeatedly blaming her for being so young as to agree to a wife's request to marry her husband. I want to think anyway it would be very painful for Adel, but fate has acted. And here they are now, in the complex relationship created by helplessness.

"What other than Ma'am's request, do you have any other intention of marrying Mas Zidan?" lirih Adel again.

Now the tears fall back on Adel's cheeks, making Nisa more agitated and confused to answer how.

"No, Ma'am. Nisa accepts this marriage purely because she wants to repay the kindness of Mbak Adel, and be a good honey sister for Mbak Adel. Why is that Mama? Do you doubt Nisa?" asked Nisa softly.

Adel shook his head while wiping his tears.

"No, not you .. but your mother," Adel stared fixedly at Nisa.

Nisa gasped, even to the point of being shocked so surprised.

"Did mom say something to Adel's mom?"

"What, Ma'am? If it just makes your heart hurt please don't listen, Ma'am. Nisa will ask the same mother Alan to return to the village as soon as possible if only for Mbak Adel hurt," said Nisa holding Adel's shoulder.

Adel was just about to answer when suddenly Zidan interrupted his words.

"But Adel had already heard, and not only was Adel's heart hurting but mine too.".

Nisa's eyes were perfectly rounded, her mouth open and closed to answer Zidan's words but no sound came out of her mouth.

"Pig." Adel holds Zidan's hand, asking him not to continue his anger at Nisa.

"No, Honey. Nisa has to know because this is about her mother, we especially you shouldn't have to endure all this, honey."

Nisa's tears were dripping, just one day and trouble was approaching her household which was even a matter of hours.

"Please tell Nisa, Ma'am. What did Mom say to Sister Adel hurt like this."

Zidan was putting on his rough hair. "If Umi doesn't want to say, let Abi explain to Nisa."

"No!" Adel held back the movement of Zidan who was about to approach Nisa with an angry look.

Adel knew her husband very well, Zidan would not let anyone hurt Adel. Or to make him cry.

"Then please tell Nisa, Ma'am. Nisa is here to make Mbak happy instead of crying like gini," Nisa said, wiping away Adel's tears.

Zidan snorted loudly and threw his gaze in the other direction.

"Your mother," Adel took a deep breath, "asked to stay in this house as well."

Nisa widened her eyes while covering her mouth with one hand.

"And also ...," Adel continued.

"He also wants Mas Zidan to give a high-ranking job to Alan, your brother."

Nisa trembled, even to the point of almost falling from her seat. His head moved left and right repeatedly, hoping that what he heard just now was just a dream.

"So then Ma'am asked, do you have any other purpose in agreeing to a marriage with Mas Zidan?" Adel looked at Nisa nanar.

"For God's sake, ma'am. Nisa never thought that far, after marriage that is in Nisa's mind just how to blend in and make Mbak Adel comfortable at home during the recovery period. And thankfully able to give offspring as Mbak Adel expected," said Nisa raised one finger up.

Zidan turned his head and looked at Nisa coldly. " What about your mother and sister who are like taking advantage of our marriage? Even the apartment I have already opened in their residence. And now they're asking for more?"

Nisa subdued and squeezed the edge of her clothes, feeling intimidated with Zidan's sharp gaze.

"Stop saying rudely, Bi!" adel's rebuke to Zidan.

Zidan closed his mouth and turned back to throw his face the other way while holding on to the balcony guardrail.

"Bak trusts you, Nis. But your mother ...." Adel hung up his sentence.

Nisa crouched down in front of Adel with both hands fused in the chest.

"I'm sorry mom and Alan if they're wrong. But swear by anything Nisa did not know that, even Nisa only knew when Mas Zidan said earlier. I didn't say anything to Nisa if she wanted to stay here with Alan."

"Lied!" angry Zidan.

He accused Nisa without caring about Adel's gaze which seemed to dislike her rude attitude towards Nisa.

"Then how do you explain money? About the case money and the ATM card you're going to ask me for a living? How do you explain that, Nisa? My second wife?" press Zidan with reddened eyes.
