Ciara has now returned with a cup of coffee for Devano. As he approached the living room that had started to emit a gripping aura, he shuddered for a moment then his vision looked at Devano who continued to clash with Dafit.
"Ehemmm," dehem Ciara had the two of them look away from each other.
But unfortunately dehemnya only able to avert the eyes of the two just a moment after that they returned to look.
Al who also felt the unusual atmosphere was now raising his voice to break the atmosphere.
"Father, Uncle. Play the same Al yuk. Al is already bosen," said Al.
Devano now lowered his head to look at Al who was in his lap as well as Dafit who was directing his gaze towards Al.
"Al bosen?" ask Dafit. Al also nodded.
"Yes playing with Uncle Yuk." Al smiles and when he wants to get down from Devano's lap, Devano instead tightens his arm that is coiled around Al's body.
"Papa" said Al, staring at Devano's face.
"Yes dear," Devano replied in a very soft voice.
"Please Al. Al wants to play with Uncle."
"Al play with Papa. Come on." Come on." Devano now carries Al's body to the family room leaving Dafit and Ciara there. Until when he was in the family room, he realized that his woman was left behind with foreign men who seemed to endanger his position as a companion of Ciara.
"Ciara, it's a shame we're playing with Al, our son!" devano shouted loudly so that Dafit also heard his words earlier.
Ciara who was in the same room with Dafit could only grin at Dafit who was staring at him, as if he needed a deeper explanation about Devano.
"Is there anything I've missed as long as you and I are different countries?" ask Dafit. Ciara scratched her non-itchy nape. When he wanted to answer Dafit's question earlier, Devano's cry preceded him.
"Darling!" Ciara closed her eyes for a moment.
"Yes briefly. I still have business," replied Ciara with a shout.
"What business?" ask Devano kepo.
"Once anyway. Just hold on a second. You wait and ask Al to play first. Watch out for the child," said Ciara who did not know if Devano's facial expression is now more bent. He became sorry to invite Al to play in the family room and also when he forgot to bring Ciara all together. Aihh is so annoying to see the woman he loves talking to other men.
After no further rebuttal from Devano, Ciara sighed to begin the story.
"So what did I miss?" ask Dafit impatiently.
"Huh, as you can see from the similarity of the two and maybe you had also heard Al calling Dev called Papa because Dev is the real Papa. He's the man I told you about before" said Ciara.
Dafit gritted his teeth while clenching his hands. I want him to beat up Devano right now, but he is still sane and he also does not want Al to see him hit his Papa which will even have a big impact on him and make Al keep his distance to him.
While Ciara who saw the change from Dafit suddenly panicked by herself. He did not want to see a fight that resulted in boxing again.
"But he changed Daf. So you don't have to worry that he's going to hurt Al or me in the future" Ciara said.
"And we will have the wedding in two weeks" continued Ciara.
Dafit was now gawking, staring in disbelief at Ciara.
"Did I hear wrong?" Ciara shook her head.
"What--" just now Dafit wants to talk again with Ciara, the laughter of Al and Devano dominating the house while running a chase.
"Rawrrrrr monster comes rawrrrrrr," exclaimed Devano as he chased Al which further increased his running speed.
"Mamaaaaa, please Al," cried Al while running and after reaching the living room, he immediately climbed onto the sofa where Ciara was then he hid behind Ciara's body.
"Rawrrrrr hungry monster rawr," said Devano and slowly he approached Al who was still hiding behind Ciara.
"Hahahaha amused Papa hahaha," Al laughs while rebelling in order to escape the pangs of the Papa.
Ciara who saw that smiled happily. He hopes that in the future it will continue like this.
While Dafit, he is now silent with eyes that see one by one between Ciara, Al and Devano alternately. And when he saw the laughter of Al also Ciara the corner of his lips lifted. But then he lowered his head. It seems like his job to keep the two people who have filled out some of the stories of his life is over and it seems like it's also time he let them live by their choices. Although it is difficult to let go of the people he loves very much but he will also not be selfish to separate those who seem to have made peace with the past, also already seem compact to keep Al. And he could only pray for their happiness for the present as well as the future. But he will also promise himself, if Ciara is again hurt by Devano, he will be the front man to protect Ciara again.
...****************...
"Wouldn't Uncle stay here any longer?" al asked with a look of sadness when Dafit told him that the Uncle would return to his homeland of Malaysia because suddenly there was something very important that requires him today fly back there.
Dafit crouched down right in front of Al then he stroked Al's head not forgetting with an expanding smile on his lips.
"Sorry Uncle dear. Uncle can only play Al for a while. But Uncle promised to be here again after finishing Uncle's business," said Dafit.
"Promise." Al extended his little finger towards Dafit. With pleasure, Dafit returned the finger by hooking his little finger to Al's tiny finger.
Afterwards Al directly hit Dafit's body and hugged him quite tightly.
"Uncle must exactly what Uncle said because Uncle already promised Al. Promises must be kept," said Al.
"Surely boy." For a while they hugged each other until Dafit's cell phone rang and required him to let go of his hug earlier.
He reached into his cell phone and saw for a moment who the person who contacted him and after knowing he clucked a moment later refused the call.
"Uncle go home first boy. Don't be naughty with Mama okay," said Dafit. Al nodded his head. Then he kissed Dafit on the cheek.
"Uncel be careful, yes" said Al. Dafit smiled and then he ruffled Al's hair while standing from his squat.
"Ci, I'm going home first. Take good care of yourself. If you need my help, don't hesitate to call me." Ciara smiled and nodded.
"You careful. And hopefully all your business will be resolved soon" said Ciara.
Devano nodded and now he approached Ciara to hug the woman's body. But unfortunately when a little more he can hug Ciara, his body first on the deckap Devano.
"Be careful on the road, bro. Don't forget to come to our wedding later" Devano said, patting Dafit on the back.
Dafit did not chimed in the words from Devano earlier, he instead took off the hug.
"Ci, you can bring Al in first." Ciara frowned.
"There are things I want to talk to him about" Dafit added. Ciara thought for a moment, if she left them alone, would nothing happen that she did not want? but if he does not give time and allow Dafit to speak with Devano, the fall he will be said to be disrespectful again. Arkh is very much in a dilemma once to be himself.
"Ci," call Dafit.
"Ah yes. All right, I'll bring Al in first. You guys just talk," said Ciara.
"Al, let's play inside," Ciara asked while holding Al's hand.
When it was confirmed that Al and Ciara were safe inside, Dafit immediately threw a fist towards the stomach and another fist landed on Devano's cheek.
"That's not quite what you did with Ciara and Al just yet. If you really want to take care of them for good then there is no intention to repeat your depraved treatment first. If until you do that and hurt Ciara again, I will not hesitate to take Ciara from you. Take that," said Dafit.
Devano neither chimed in the words nor returned the blow from Dafit earlier. He seems to understand that which is appropriate for him. Even the blow of everyone who understands and knows the story of Ciara and himself in the past is still not balanced with the difficulties that Ciara used to experience.
Dafit now appears to have let out a few breaths to neutralize his emotions, then he returns to say goodbye to the two people in the house.
"Baby, Al. I'm leaving first. Assalamualaikum," cried Dafit.
"Be careful, Waalaikumsalam," replied Ciara also Al without coming out of the house.
"I picked them up" Dafit told Devano before leaving the front of the house.
