Atep POV
I ended up spending the night at Bu Alena's residence. I knew I shouldn't stay but it was an emergency. Ms. Alena is sick and needs help while no one can accompany her now.
I had asked her if there was a brother or anyone who could be contacted to accompany her but it turned out that Ms. Alena was too stubborn and self-assertive that she would not bother her parents and sister who were on vacation.
I don't know if Ms. Alena is telling the truth or making things up. I think it's too risky if he sacrifices his health for his ego. Maybe he was telling the truth, his parents and brother were on vacation.
It's not that I'm not sincerely accompanying Ms. Alena but that I'm a normal man as well. I'm afraid I'm caliph. Who can guarantee it, right? I just can't guarantee that I can hold back. Ms. Alena is very jutek, especially to me but she is beautiful and in my eyes she is amazing..
Finally, the dawn of Azan reverberated. I feel tired, both physically and mentally. Overused? Of course it is not excessive if all night I can not close the eyes of the goods a minute or two minutes. My mind was filled with the figure of Ms. Alena who was probably sleeping soundly in the next room or maybe she couldn't sleep as well as I did. Ah, I don't want to dream. Ms. Alena is a woman that I cannot reach like Teh Iyah.
I'd better hurry to the bathroom to take a shower and ablaze. After finishing the bath and showering in the bathroom near the kitchen, I slowly knocked on Ms. Alena's room door.
Tok.dok….
“Bu.. Bu Alena.” I called Ms. Alena in a soft voice. I'm worried about disturbing him.
After several calls, there was no response from Ms. Alena. I knocked on the door again and it was a little hard.
“Bu... Ms. Alena. Miss Alena is awake?”
A while later, I heard a loud voice coming from the room.
“Ya.”
“Need my help?” my many.
“No need. I can do it myself.” I heard Ms. Alena's answer.
After being convinced that Ms. Alena doesn't need my help. I went back to the next room to perform the morning prayers.
It seems I fell asleep after performing the dawn prayer. It's only natural that I fall asleep after dawn because all night I can't sleep. I woke up two hours later because Ms. Alena was pushing through the door of the room that I was in so hard.
With a head that felt very dizzy, I opened the door of the room.
“Sorry, after dawn I fell asleep.”
“Iya, it's okay.”
“There can I help?” my many.
“Hm. You hungry no?” ask Ms. Alena.
“You hungry?” I answered Ms. Alena's question with a question.
“I asked why are you answering with any more questions?” reply Bu Alena fierce.
“Eh is not what I mean. If you're hungry, I'm going to eat downstairs. Maybe there is a food seller that we can buy,”, I explained.
“No need. I ordered breakfast for us. Maybe in a minute until.”
“Duh, forgive me. I became troublesome. Because I overslept at dawn, you order your own food.”
“I'm not a kid. I can also order food online. It's not just you who can!” ma'am Alena replied.
Duh, wrong again the words that came out of my mouth. Why the hell lately, the work of my mouth and the contents of my brain are not in harmony.
“I mean not so. I'm just worried that you're still sick.”
I hope my answer this time is not wrong.
It's wrong again.
“If you want to help, just prepare the cutlery! If the food arrives, we can directly eat,” orders Bu Alena.
After hearing the order from Ms. Alena, I immediately rushed to the kitchen and prepared what Ms. Alena asked for. Although my head was throbbing but I did as Ms. Alena ordered without protest.
Damn it... Since when did I follow the orders of a woman other than the orders of my own birth mother and also Teh Iyah? It seems I've gone crazy for wanting to obey orders from Ms. Alena. Ms. Alena became the third woman whose orders I followed without much protest. My brain is starting to go wrong. Eit wait, not starting to go wrong but since I met with Ms. Alena, my brain has started to go wrong. The danger!
We eat in silence. None of us tried to start a conversation. Thirty minutes passed, we finished breakfast. I cleaned up the leftovers on the table and brought the old dishes. I immediately washed all the dirty dishes and glasses so as not to pile up.
After I finished washing the dishes and the glasses, I returned to the living room where Ms. Alena was still sitting quietly on the sofa.
“Can I help you again?”
Ms. Alena shook her head.
Cih, you bitch sucks. If only he wasn't sick, I'd like to ignore him.
“If there is nothing more I can help you with and you feel better. I'm leaving home.”
“Please,” the answer is short.
It's a really annoying girl who doesn't know thank you. Instead of thanking it, it drove me away subtly. It's not that I'm selfless and expect a thank you. From childhood I was taught by my mother that there are people who help and help us, we should not say thank you.
“Thank you,” he said interrupting my bad thoughts.
“Oh, uh, yes, sa-sama-sama.” I replied a little stuttering.
“Then I say go home.”
“Hm...”.
I saw that Ms. Alena was about to stand up from her seat.
“No need to deliver. You just sit here. I can open the door myself. Or would I take you to your room first?”
“No need.”
“I'm home. If there is anything or you need my help again, do not hesitate to contact me. Assalamu’alaikum.”.
“Wa’alaikumsalam”
Blams…
As the door behind me closed, I took a deep breath and took it out slowly.
I felt my abnormal heart work beating.
Uh, what's with my slightly abnormal heart work?
Immediately I brushed off my mind that seemed to be starting to have no direction.
I set foot out of the building where Ms. Alena and I lived together for one day and one night.
