Part 10: ClairVoyant

It had been a year, but there was no difficulty at all while walking through the dungeon. They can all survive any threats that arise. Maybe because the people in this guild were different levels from other guilds, so the monsters that confronted them could easily be bulldozed by them. 

Because it was too easy, every monster that had sprung up, they gave Dias priority to finish him off. Because this is a form of training to make it stronger again.

One form of training in order to increase mana capacity, Dias is recommended to always use his magic in the maximum amount possible. That way, the body of Dias will adapt to accept the reduction of mana in large quantities. Indirectly which capacity will be enlarged as well.

"How, Iaros? is it ripe?" Said Halbert grilling the flesh of the boar monster while holding the hilt that was stabbed into the boar. 

Iaros observes the flesh on the fire of elegance. "Hmm. I guess it's still half-baked. Just wait another 30 minutes. How's yours? Demitry?" 

"Hm.. If in my place of residence, it is forbidden to eat wild boar. But in an emergency it's okay." Demitry said that it seemed like he had mistakenly caught Iaros' question. 

"Joko just ate a machete.." Iaros.

"Don't connect gobl–" Before Halbert continued his words, Suddenly the burned pig slipped from its hilt and made the fire dim. "Ahh, fuck."

"immediately take. Dias, raise the fire." Iaros's orders to Halbert and Dias. Dias himself lay down while lighting his fire magic incessantly for up to 2 hours from his palm. 

"Bwmuah!!" Dias raised the fire, but it was too big to make Halbert startled. 

"Oh!! It's hot.." 

"Dias! If the pigs are burnt out, you'll have to take responsibility!" Iaros. 

"Well, how long do I have to keep this up?" Said Dias who was complaining.

"Don't complain, this is so you can control your fire magic better. You should know when to raise and when to shrink that fire. Understood?" Iaros said while taking the pork that had been separated from his skewer.

"Yes, whatever." Reply with laziness. 

"Hoi, what are you doing here? Everyone's packed up to get on the road, you're all good to eat." Says Cyntia who warned the four of them. 

"Well, what a paw. Give us a little time. We haven't eaten before." Complaining Halbert.

"Well, hasn't it been shared with each other?"

"So we didn't come, because we were busy hunting pigs."

"Ouch, nutmeg dizzy.." Cyntia said while holding her forehead. Then Cyntia's attention was diverted to the position of Dias who turned out from earlier fighting while lighting a fire from her palm. 

"Oii Iaros! What kind of exercise is this?"

"Exercise controls magic well." The reply.

"Well, is there no other way of training than this? It's kind of like hazing at the Academy."

"What kind of "have a chance? This is called a very useful method of magic use. I taught him to be multi-talented in the future. What can you do at night that is so cold if there is no firewood in the house, while you are still motionless? You're gonna freeze to death in your own house." 

"Well, it's his own fault for malleability." 

"Do you still not understand? do you know the initial definition of the word lazy?"

"No, what is it?"

"Lazy is blah blah blah." Iaros explained to Cyntia at length like a professor teaching her students. Cyntia's head was smoky from hearing Iaros' complicated and endless explanation. 

"HOII!! WHY ARE YOU STILL HERE!!" Franca came to them all with wrath because they had burned the monster's flesh for too long.

"Don't you see? we just ate." Iaros replies after making Cyntia burn her head. 

"Eat on the road!! We've all been waiting for you to reach the moss but you're not getting together!" 

"But.." Reply Halbert.

"No buts! Stand up, or…"

"Or what?" Reply Iaros who looks to challenge Franca.

"Summon, Grizzly Bear.. Wawp.." Suddenly appeared behind Iaros a large brown-armored bear who then bit the entire head of Iaros who was still sitting crouching while roasting a bolted pig. 

Eventually, they all obeyed Franca's words and soon gathered together with the others, though Iaros' head was still bleeding. 

"Iaros? why's your head?" Ask Steve.

"This is the result of my battle earlier after fighting the Demon Queen." Reply Iaros while carrying the burned pig on his shoulder. 

Because of pity, Steve plans to cure Iaros. But before he does that, Franca suddenly interrupts and tells Steve not to heal him.

"Steve, if you heal him, you'll experience the same thing." Threatening Franca made Steve shudder in horror. 

"The devil's queen is marahan." Iaros chirps with a look towards Franca, and forced himself to rely on the regeneration ability of his own body to recover his head. 

Eventually they all continued their journey. And coincidentally, each of their travels met monsters that Dias could easily kill. Dias used his magic and sword skills to eradicate the monsters mercilessly. Other than Dias would never hesitate to kill monsters, more precisely killing all the threats that were in front of him. With that kind of thinking, it finally made Dias mentally become stronger again. 

Day after day passed without any obstacles. Because it was too peaceful, Dias finally took the time to read his father's magic book with the title of the book “ClairVoyant”. He immediately retrieved the book from inside his backpack behind his back and opened it. Fortunately, he had been taught to read better by Cyntia, the best alchemist in the capital, so that he could read the book in a fairly complicated language. 

“I-this is serious?” Dias was a little surprised by the contents in the book.

As Iaros said, if the magic that can be learned from this book is a special ability to see one's identity. But to learn it takes extra effort and hard work. It is said in there, if he wants to master it then he must fast for 1 full month, with breaking only using one glass of water. 

At first Dias thought that this was impossible, but considering the usefulness of this magic, he decided to study it. After all, this magic book was a gift from both of his parents. Of course, they want to master this ability. Finally he went to Iaros to ask for permission to carry out the commands in the old magic book.

At this time, Dias also began fasting from eating for 1 month. He was only allowed to drink water without any taste. It might be very difficult, but fortunately everyone around Dias was strong, so he would not worry if there was a threat approaching him. 

15 Days later*

"Eyey Dias.. Heemm~ is so good this chicken.. Uhh~ sedapnya~" said Halbert who teased Dias while bringing his grilled chicken closer right in front of Dias' face. "Your scent!! Uuhhhh~"

"I have to be patient. Strengthen me, O god who always takes care of me." Mumbled Dias who was concentrating sat cross-legged with his eyes closed. 

In addition to fasting, in the book there is also one more condition that must be fulfilled, namely he is prohibited from seeing everything from his eyes, he said, so that for a whole month he deliberately blinded himself without seeing anything.

However, that does not mean closing your eyes can stop the smell of roasted chicken that seeps into the nose, it is precisely Dias' sense of smell that will be stronger because it adapts to the surrounding environment. 

"Heuumm~ It's so fragrant this chicken, Nyam, nyam.." Halbert said as he chewed the chicken. “Eng, did you hear? The dias? ck, ck, ck, ck.” Halbert fiddled with his chews and brought his lips closer to Dias's ears until Dias could hear the sound of his gusto. 

Suddenly Cyntia and Steve come before Halbert and scold her not to disturb Dias. Halbert who was aware of it immediately fled away. Steve and Cyntia continue to pursue Halbert. 

"Aampooon, I'm kidding you!!" 

"Just calm down Halbert, any poison that damages your body, I will instantly heal it quickly. So you can drink poison from Cyntia as much." Steve said with a big smile. 

"You're crazy!!" 

Iaros then came to Dias who was cross-legged without opening his eyes. 

"Dias, if you can't, it's okay to cancel for a while. You'll be able to master it when we get home." Iaros. Iaros took into account the conditions of all of them who had to survive against various kinds of monsters. Dias would definitely not be able to fight back without using both of his eyeballs to see if there were any monsters that wanted to pounce on him. 

In addition, Dias's body also took care of. For 15 days he drank only water. 

"Iaros!! you must respect Dias' decision!!" Shouted Demitry while pointing towards Iaros.

"Oh, noisily." Iaros Reply. 

"It fasted so that he could be stronger in order to become a great adventurer beyond you.. You should have supported him, not even told Dias to give up.. Hadeh, not very sensitive." 

What Demitry said was all true. Iaros must be able to guard him until he can master the Clairvoyant perfectly. He should be able to break all the obstacles that could thwart Dias to master it. And that barrier is…

"Hm.. Do I have to kill Halbert?" Said Iaros lugu. 

"Well, why are you thinking that." Demitry could only applaud Halbert's unreasonable response. 

Time after time passed. And their long journey never stops. And finally, Dias can master the magic Clairvoyant perfectly after passing 1 month without seeing anything and without eating anything. And right now he could see the status of the people who were there very easily. He just simply said ‘Clairvoyant’ and opened his eyes, then he could immediately see it.

"Clairvoyants.." Said Dias while practicing it together with Iaros. Suddenly a hologram appeared above Iaros' head. Dias can see the status of Iaros, ranging from total HP (Health Point), MP (Mana Point), jobs, and levels. And it was unbelievable, if HP, MP and Iaros level were very far away from him. Though he never contributed to the fight at all, but the level distance between the two of them was like the earth and sky.

At that place, suddenly appeared a black colored giant Wyvern that flew towards all of them. 

"Yahoo!!" The wind blows very strong coming from the flapping of its wings making the trees around want to collapse.

Wyvern is a flying dragon with two legs. He could spew fire and with it, Wyvern could scorch a village in a matter of minutes. Moreover, his large and hard body would be very difficult to kill. 

“ClairVoyant!” Dias activated his eye skill and saw the information from the Dragon.

"Water slicer's.." Iaros simply swung his hand towards Wyvern, and suddenly his head instantly split open. 

Wyvern's body immediately fell to the ground. While others even gawked at the ability of Iaros that can not be reasoned by human reason. 

"I'm crazy, I forgot that there are monsters in our group too." Said Dann who was one of the melee fighters there.

"Hahaha, it seems like we've been watching the most precious moments." Nordin said as he sheathed his sword back.

"Huh? you guys are fascinated by seeing this? I've seen it many times." Reply Demitry. Demitry said truthfully, having previously also conquered the other dungeons along with Iaros, Iris and Halbert. 

Dias himself also did not expect that the person whom Iris often loved was a very strong person. It turned out that what the other guild people said was true. She is the strongest witch in Valkrie.
