Part 37: Boss Monster Floor 1

“My darling, you don't see Blaire?” Ask Rein who from this morning looking for his only favorite child to and fro. 

“Do not know, dear. Maybe he went to the back garden of the house?” Reply Rhea who was also confused by the whereabouts of her son. 

“Nothing, I've been looking for it there but no one.”

“Hmm? So where is he exactly?” Ask Rhea.

“I also don't know.”

Not long after, a pigeon came towards the two of them. At his feet were tied a small scroll that seemed to contain a message. Rein immediately took the scroll and read it. 

“This, from Mr. Iaros,” Rein said as he unrolled it.

“What is it?” ask wife.

“Shortly.. Mr. Rein, it looks like your son ran away from home and suddenly appeared before me in the form of a cat. He followed us and after this we will enter the dungeon. Hopefully he doesn't bother us. Signed, Iaros.”

“What!! he entered the dungeon? Isn't that too dangerous for her?” said Rhea in a hurry with an anxious expression. 

“Basic, the child was still reckless as usual,” timpal Rein with an expression that was also no less anxious. He squeezed the paper tightly, but after that relaxed his groan. “But how else, we leave everything to Iaros.”

The two of them could only sigh after seeing his son's reckless behavior. 

“Look at ya, I'll punish him later?” rhea said with fiery eyes.

“Haaaacuihh!” Suddenly Blaire sneezed.

“Kak Blaire why? Brother is okay?” Thea asked Blaire who was walking beside her.

“Entahlah.. Suddenly my body shivered in the cold,” replied. Thea looked at Blaire with a questionable expression. 

After walking for more than 5 hours while eradicating the monsters that happened to attack them, they took a break and sat on the outskirts of the cave. Mr. Ruky put the light orb next to the cave so that made Thea surprised.

“Wah, the light orb turned out to be able to be removed just like that,” said Thea who was amazed by Mr. Ruky's magic.

“Iya dong, useful once is not?” Reply Mr. Ruky with a proud smile. 

“Hah, so thirsty. Is there no water source nearby?” said Dias who sat leaning against the wall while looking around. 

“As you can see. Indeed, in the dungeon there is not always a need that we really need. We must prepare from the beginning to face all possibilities in the future,” said Iaros while taking out the red and white pill. After that, he threw it on the ground.

“Poff!!” Suddenly, 3 mineral waters appeared, and shared them with all who were there. 

“Thank you, glup-glup.” Said Dias who immediately drank it quickly. 

“Oy, don't forget to share with others! This, Mr. Ruky.” Iaros gave the bottle to Ruky politely. 

“Thank you,” reply.

“Blaire, why did you have to save Azka? Is he really a person who is really valuable to you?” Asked Dias to Blaire who was also sitting leaning against the cave wall right beside Dias. 

Hearing Dias' words, Blaire's face flushed red and memories of the past opened.

*Flashback-blown..

“Uhukk-uhukk.” Azka let out a speck of water after being given artificial breath by Blaire. Azka's consciousness began to return after drowning with an injured back. It was just that he was still unable to stand due to his severe injuries on his back. 

“Blaire..” Azka said weakly. Suddenly Blaire's tears drip slowly on Azka's cheek. Azka stared at the innocent beautiful face with a sad expression. 

“Hiks, hiks.. w-why are you that close?” blaire.

“Already, I cannot say much because the wound on my back hurts so much,” Azka replied while smiling in pain. 

“Huu..huuu Even so Blaire was still crying, even though she was not injured at all. 

“Hah.” Azka snorted annoyedly for a moment. After that it tried to get up little by little even though it was a bit painful. 

Suddenly Azka hugged the small body. “Huh? A-Azka?” blaire said stammeringly. His face turned red suddenly even though there were still tears streaming down his eyes. 

“Blaire, I promise I will always protect you. So, don't cry, OK?”

Hearing that, Blaire returned her embrace and stopped her crying. 

“Hmm.. I'm sorry, Azka,” Reply Blaire.

“Woy, why dream?” said Dias, shaking his hand in front of Blaire. 

“Ahh, yes yes. Why yes? Hahahaha, hahaha,” suddenly Blaire woke up and laughed to herself.

“What the hell is so unclear,” Inner Dias. “Yes if you don't want to tell me, I don't make it too,” said Dias, then sip water on the mineral bottle again. 

“Is it far away?” Ask Mr. Ruky to Iaros who is sitting next to him.

“Entahlah. We were the first adventurers to explore this dungeon, and we didn't get any information. But if judged from the weak monsters exterminated by Dias and the children, maybe in one week we are done,” Iaros replied.

Indeed, Iaros and Ruky did not intervene at all, but all the monsters that arrived were exterminated by Dias with the help of Thea and Blaire. Thea as support, while to eradicate the monsters were all handed over by Dias. Blaire wanted to help but didn't get around.

“It's been enough rest. Let's continue,” said Iaros while standing and stepping forward. After that followed by Mr. Ruky, then the other children.

Not long after, they finally arrived at a wider room. There was a man sitting on his throne accompanied by a woman standing beside him.

“Ho.. has come apparently, our first guest,” said Velde who sat while propping up his chin. While Veela who was his assistant just stood up while looking at Iaros et al. 

“Okay kids, it's your turn to show the ability of all of you,” said Iaros who believes in the ability of Thea and Dias.

“I'll wait here until you clear them both,”. 

“Hahaha, good idea,” replied the excited Dias while pulling his sword from the sheath that was on his left waist. While Thea had prepared her wand earlier.

Blaire placed her sword on the ground, after which using her change ability. “Transform : Wild Cat Mode!” 

“Hmm? Why do you think the three boys can beat us? You underestimate us, huh?” said Velde coldly. Then he immediately stood up from his layover while giving off a black-colored aura typical of the Demon race. 

“No I will let you go deeper, Veela, quickly finish them!” continued Velde. But Veela instead looks confused with Velde's statement.

“Kok I killed them? You are, I have magic for support,” Veela said confirming Velde's statement.

“Ah, yes too. Then let's be together.” After which, Velde stepped forward while taking out his sword which suddenly emerged from his palm. 

 “Buff : protect, Buff : Shell, Buff : Haste!!” Thea's shout then appeared a yellow and blue light around the bodies of Blaire and Dias. 

“Wah, I feel my body is very light,” Blaire said as she moved her tail. So did Dias who felt the same way. 

“Clairvoyant!!” Dias re-activates the ability of the eye to see the future.

“Hmmm, looks like that's just the status. Not too high either except agility only,” said Dias confidently while grinning.

Then, Veela who was behind Velde also started reciting incantations. 

“Enhance : All abilities!!” The black aura enveloped Velde's body perfectly, and Velde himself felt a force rushing into his body.

“Thank you Veela, hahahaha, I will make sure you all die unsettled here,” said Velde arrogantly. 

“What!?” Suddenly Dias shouted in disbelief if the status possessed by Velde suddenly increased drastically by twice the initial status.

“But at least with my Clairvoyant abilities, I won't get hurt as long as I dodge all of his attacks,” Dias muttered confidently.

“Be careful, the speed will be very disturbing!” Shouted Dias to everyone. Blaire gulped as she felt goosebumps with a powerful aura that had just been released by the Devil that was in front of her. 

“Swosh.” Suddenly Velde disappeared quickly. 

“Transg!!” quickly, Velde moved behind Dias and slashed his sword at his back. Luckily Dias could still see his movements with his eyes, so he could fend them off by pointing his sword back. 

Velde thought for a moment. “Hmm? how could he fend off with such a position?” inner Velde. 

Velde returned to attack Dias very quickly, but Dias dodged the attack very quickly and accurately. The attack came crashing like a fan spinning fiercely, yet it was still able to be fended off and avoided by the boy.

“Luckily there's Thea's haste magic that can increase my speed and reflexes, otherwise, maybe I'm dead now,” Inner Dias.

Blaire was only observing from afar in confusion, there was no gap at all to help Dias in the middle of the fight. Then, he turned to observe Veela who was not under guard by anyone.

“Maybe I should attack that woman,” Inner Blaire, then run towards Veela. 

“Awas!!” Shouted Thea who was looking at Velde's movements.

Velde disappeared suddenly from before Dias, and now moved behind Blaire. Velde immediately slashed at Blaire quickly.

“Blarr!!” However, before Velde had time to slash the blaire, a fire suddenly emerged from the ground just below him. The fire burned Velde quite hot, but Velde moved quickly around until the fire was extinguished instantly. 

“Bokah, how can you do that?” Said Velde who was amazed by Dias' ability.

“Hahaha, think to yourself,” replied Dias while running towards Velde. Dias instantly slashed his fire sword towards Velde. 

Blaire, who had been surprised, then continued her steps towards the woman who was standing next to her layover.

“Hap, hap, hap.” Blaire jumped to and fro to confuse the opponent in front of her, but it seemed that the woman was not paying any attention at all. 

When Blaire was right behind him, Blaire glided quickly and intended to claw it. 

“Brakk!!” 

However, before the claw reached Veela's head, Blaire had already fallen suddenly as if she had been hit by something invisible. 

“Ke-why this?” said Blaire who could not move like being sucked to the ground. 

“This is called gravitational force. Basic man, just don't know,” reply Veela. Then he pulled out a sword that was like a needle.

“Death quietly, O foolish man.”
