Section 11: The Last Boss

After exterminating Wyvern, they continued their journey. And as usual, there was still no incident that left them all cornered. This was because not a single monster could make Iaros slump. Somehow this time Iaros often interfered in the fight, and it was only once attacked.

Time after time had passed, and it did not feel like they had been five years down the dungeon. They had already destroyed all sorts of monsters that were blocking them from getting to their destination. They had gone down deep caves, up high mountains, and through steep ravines, but not a single monster had survived when facing them. 

Dias itself has seen a very fast development when compared to other witches with better magic control and the use of his sword is also more expert. 

Although there are various traps that make them fall bloody, or pierced by deep arrows, but they can quickly be cured. Because there's Steve here who's the best priest in the guild. Plus 4 healers as a backup. Although they were injured, they would quickly recover. As long as they did not die, they could still be healed. Anywhere that is. 

"Oh, long time ago. When do we get to the boss? We'll be stuck in this dungeon forever?" Said Demitry who was walking while looking lethargic. "What do you think, Dias?"

"Whatchu mean? you want me to burn, huh?" Reply to Dias who had gotten used to Demitry by letting out a fire in his palm. It seems that Iaros's ugly qualities are declining to him.

"Be quiet, you'll just lower the motivation of the others." Reply Franca to Demitry. 

"Hmm. Maybe this is in accordance with what the Master predicted. He had predicted that we would finish this dungeon for 5 years." Reply Dann.

"Well, that's right.. He can see the future too. And according to his own confession, if he can also change the future. Though it was clear that the future was already determined by the Gods. Or is he not an atheist? (do not believe in God)" Halbert said.

"Ey, Cyntia. How many years is it now?" Halbert asked Cyntia. 

"Engg, fifth?" The reply. 

"Hmm. fifth yes. Shouldn't we have been able to finish this dungeon, according to the prophecy?"

"Well, it should be. Maybe in a minute." The reply. 

"Everything, stop." Instructions from Franca. Then everything stopped too. The road in front of him was different again not the same as the road before. It was a very wide ravine, but with purple soil, and the trees around the ravine were also dead. 

"Summon, eagle." Franca took out the bird from the magic circle she made in the air. 

"Steve, please anti-poison magic to my elf." Franca asked Steve. Steve complied and immediately gave the eagle anti-poison magic. 

Then Franca flew the bird to explore the abyss. 

"Cyntia, did you kiss her?" Said Franca glancing towards Cyntia. 

"Yes, this is a very dangerous smell of bottled toxin gas. If inhaled, it will be toxic in the body, and we will die within 1 hour. We can't breathe it in one bit." Reply Cyntia. 

After that, without further ado Steve directly used his anti-poison magic to the 16 others who stood there. He cast a spell long enough to cast a large enough magic circle that enveloped everyone there. 

"Just calm down, you won't get poisoned." Steve.

"Good job." Reply Franca. "Everyone, wait a minute. I'll see things first." 

Franca closed her eyes to connect her senses with the eagle that was currently tracing the abyss. 

After tracing the abyss, he saw something shocking from his search. 

"What's this?" Franca saw many human bones scattered in every street. It seemed, the bones belonged to adventurers who had made it to this place, but did not survive after. 

"What do you see?" Halbert. 

“It looks like there have been dozens of adventurers who have reached this place, but not a single one has survived. Everything has become bones without rest.” Reply Franca. Then his eagle continued to drill deeper into the arid place full of dead trees.

“Eng? That..” Finally Franca found a monster that was allegedly very strong. 

"It looks like I've seen the boss of this dungeon." Franca. 

"Really?" Halbert said he couldn't believe it. 

"Yes, I'll show you the way." Franca. Suddenly, the bird sent by Franca was punctured by a very fast wooden rod sliding out of nowhere. 

"Argh, fuck." Said Franca while holding her sore eyes. 

"You okay?" Reply Halbert. 

"WHOLE!!" Shouted Dann. Suddenly, a log that had penetrated Franca's eagle still slid and pointed at Franca's head. Franca who is not ready with it certainly can not be anything.

"Cat!!" Dann repelled the sharp wood quickly. Even his powerful rank made his sword bounce. 

"Well, it's impossible.from that far away, how can he know where we are?" Said Franca who was still surprised. 

"It's not over yet." Said Iaros who had prepared himself by taking out his sword from its sheath. 

"Where did your eagle go?" Demitry asked Franca.

"There," Franca pointed in the direction where she found the boss. 

Demitry focused his gaze forward and activated his vision skill which could see up to a distance of 9 Km. There, there was a demon in the form of a woman in black like a shadow who was also watching from afar. 

Demitry who was already standing beside Iaros immediately took out his magical arrow and shot the monster from a great distance away. 

"El, fula.." Demitry said, then bringing up the wind arrows that suddenly emerged from his bow. He immediately released the arrow and shot out quickly. 

"Princess.." The arrow could easily be fended off by him. Suddenly, around the demon appeared other shadows in the form of large birds flying. The shadows began to slide towards all of them. 

"Steve!!" Franca's Order. 

As if to know what he should do, Steve casts magic that can make them all immune to curses, increase mana capacity, and mana regeneration, as well as temporary shields. 

But suddenly a big hole appeared under the healers, Good thing Steve had realized that and avoided it. While other healers were trapped with bodies that had been pierced by sharp tree trunks. 

"Damn it!! He's after the most important part of us" said Halbert, who witnessed the incident.

"Quick get all the healers out of that hole" Steve told the others. The others nodded and immediately raised all those healer bodies quickly. 

"It looks like this will be our last fight in this dungeon." Franca smiled wryly.

"Everyone, attack!!"

Everyone immediately approached the demon without having to think for a long time. The black-colored bird monster created by the demon lunged towards them in great numbers. Every time they destroyed, there would be another bird monster replacing and attacking them. Fortunately, the monster was not strong.

Dias was unceasingly burning the monsters that were coming closer. While Iaros lunged at the black devil who was very far from his place along with Halbert very quickly. With the help of Demitry from behind, they were able to approach the monster with ease. But just approaching it was not enough, they also had to conquer the monster.

Steve tried to cure the other healers. 

“Let go of the wood stuck in their body!” Steve's orders to the others. They complied and immediately took it off. After the wood was released, the 4 pierced healers were immediately laid down and only healed.

“Heal!!” Quickly, the scars from the four Healers instantly disappeared.

“Thank you Steve,” The four of them immediately got up and immediately supported the others from behind. 

“Don’t Mind.” Reply Steve then also immediately went to the place where the Devil was.

The Devil realized that the shadow bird he had created was still too easy for them. Eventually he created something more powerful for them.

However, before the Devil took action, Iaros had time to launch the first slash using his fiery sword. 

“Swoosshh.” 

The devil feels nothing. Iaros immediately retreated and was then continued by a long-range attack launched by Demitry from a distance. 

“Blarr.. Blarr.” The result is the same. He did not flinch from his place at all.

“Groaaa!!” The black devil gave off a black aura like a whip that could hurt anyone around him. The attack was able to make Iaros repulsed back away to keep his distance from him. 

Suddenly, a vast black magic circle appeared around the demon. The demon ducked down, placed his hand on the ground and looked like it was concentrating. Not long after, a black knight-shaped shadow appeared using a complete armor with an enormous amount. Some of the Knights were carrying swords, and some were carrying arrows. 

Not only that, other monsters also appeared around the herd that still had not reached the place of the demon. Several black-colored Giant Orcs fell from the sky in considerable numbers and were stronger than the Giant Orcs that they had previously fought against. Forced they all could not immediately go face to face with the demon. They had to guard themselves from all forms of attacks launched by the approaching monsters. 

"drink this," said Cyntia who shared Mana Potion with the others. With the Cyntia, then no one would worry about running out of their Mana. If their Mana runs out, they just come to him and take the potion. 

Dias who was near Cyntia also took the potion and attacked the monster while drinking the blue liquid.

“How does it feel, Dias?” Cyntia said to Dias after she drank the Mana Potion.

“Emm, Blueberry?” Reply Dias who was a little confused by the taste. 

“Hahaha, that's my newest concoction so that people would prefer more with my Mana Potion. Hopefully this new product can be the best-selling product among other competitor products.”

“Ohh.. You have a store?” Asked Dias who was a little surprised.

“Iya dong, gini-gini I also want to retire young soon loh. Hehe,” Says Cyntia.

“Awas!” From behind them, appeared the Giant Ogre that floated its huge jade towards right at them.

“Transg!!” Dann suddenly appears who fended off the attack.

“Teacher!” Said Dias a little surprised.

“What are you doing here? Immediately go to where Iaros is.”

“Well, actually we want to do so anyway, it's just that the conditions do not allow our wishes,” said Dias while paying attention around which there are already a lot of monsters that have sprung up. Even in addition to the Ogre and the birds, black goblins also sprung from behind the trees. 

“Had, really troublesome.” Dann said with a sigh. Then he raised his greatsword and immediately slashed at the Giant Orc that was in front of him. 

“Sringg!!” The monster split instantly. After that they continued to advance and immediately finished off all the monsters that were in front of him one by one.

Dias endlessly burned the monsters that were also endless as he continued to step towards Iaros, only that Iaros, Demitry and Halbert were still too far away. The distance to Iaros is about 3 Km ahead. Of course this takes a long time because it is blocked by some monsters in front.

“Grrr!!” This time came the adult human-sized black wolf that came crashing down from beside them. 

“Khuahkkhahakkwkaakkhh!!” In front of them also appeared the goblins who were carrying small spears in their hands. From above there were also some black birds that attacked them. Several Giant Ogres were also still falling around them.

“Grazy. Why there are so many,” Dias said.

“GROAAA!!” Suddenly, a big bear wearing a suit of armor appeared who also fought to help Dias and the others. The bear beat the goblins, bit, hit, and ate them. In addition, several white wolves also attacked the Giant Ogre simultaneously.

“You all right?” Franca said walking by followed by a few spirit beasts behind him. It includes two gorillas holding swords and shields.

“Franca!” Dias was helped by the arrival of Franca who brought his army of ancestors to the battle. 

“Stay focus! Do not let us be preoccupied by these weak keronco-keronco. Stay forward!” The commandment of Franca that makes the spirit of all those who listen to it rise again..

However, the longer they destroyed the monsters that had sprung up, the more monsters were created. And even monsters with new variations also began to appear.

They all worked together to destroy all the monsters in front of them while stepping little by little towards the place of Iaros. 

However, even though they had tried their hardest to hold back the Monsters that had sprung up with good cooperation, there would certainly be a time when things would not go according to plan.
