Adias Floryn: Get Back The Kingdom
Part 2: Betrayal

Midnight came which was marked by several howls of the Kingdom's wolves. 

In a place far from the royal palace, there was a group of people who were performing strange rituals. The ritual produces a red glow that radiates straight up into the sky. In addition, the ritual was also performed in five other places simultaneously, until the red stripes formed a star pattern that covers all parts of the palace Farnesse. In a moment, the light disappeared again. All the rituals were done to temporarily stop the magic-magic in the entire territory of the kingdom. 

*While it's at the Royal Palace..

"Dok, Doc, Doc." There's a knock on the door in the King's and Queen's room. Hearing this, Vyros opened the door. 

"Tobias? What are you doing here at night?" 

"Although, Your Majesty, there is an emergency to be resolved. Can you come with me for a minute?" Ask Tobias. 

The king, who was wearing only his nightgown, followed what Tobias famously said was the King's right hand. 

"What's up, baby?" He asked his wife who saw her husband rushing into his uniform.

"There's an urgent matter." Reply, then leave the place. Neia herself also felt an uneasy feeling, so she stood guard that night while bringing her sword and her husband's beside her. 

The King and Tobias have now entered the meeting room, and this time the room has been filled by the other Guards. But the King was relieved, because the guard is the Guard who is as usual guarding inside the kingdom.

"Okay Tobias, what do you want to talk about?" Said the King while sitting in his place. 

At that instant the door of the meeting room closed, and was locked by one of his unknown bodyguards.

"Welcome, Lord King." Said Tobias who then he smiled grinning and raised his hands up wide.

"Armghhh!!" All the guards there were stabbed in the back by the people who had previously been hiding behind the pillars of this meeting room. Blood splattered everywhere and all that was left were some unknown people with some treacherous bodyguards.

"Bias!!" Shouted Vyros with wrath. Vyros intended to cast his fire magic to eliminate anyone in the room. But somehow he couldn't bring out his magic at all. 

"Why this?" Her thought.

“Sraat–” Quickly, someone in black by slashing towards the front of Vyros. Vyros repelled the attack with only his hands, bleeding his hands.

“Arghh.”

“Goodnight to the King who is not very good at governing his own kingdom.” Say someone in black.

“You.. Julian!?” Vyros looked at him in disbelief, as he remembered he had been burned to death in the previous civil war. 

“There is no time to tell a story. Kill him now.” Julian's orders to all the guards who were there. All the guards of 20 men began to draw their swords. Vyros prepared to accept any attack and tried to survive without any equipment at all.

This uproar not only occurred in the meeting rooms, but on all sides of the kingdom there was a sadistic massacre carried out by the Rebels and some of the royal guards who rebelled. They took advantage of night time like this when the royal guard's surveillance began to wane. Moreover, they did not think that there would be betrayal among those who defected against the kingdom. 

The defense within the kingdom was very soft. Because this kingdom was more concerned with magic abilities, so when their magic was all sealed, they could do nothing more. Well, although in activating this anti-magic field it also requires a very large amount of mana. 

The sound of screaming was heard in every hallway. Whether the person who is still awake or sound asleep will be killed mercilessly. There will be no one who can escape this massacre until all are left alone.

Hearing the commotion outside, Maine who was still standing guard inside the room tried to peek outside. When looking to the right and to the left, suddenly there was an arrow that shot right towards the head of Maine. Fortunately, he was still caught. 

“What really happened?” Maine then went back in, locked the room and woke Dias and Thea up. 

“Why Maine, Hoaaamm.” Said Dias who was still sleepy. Similarly, Thea who looks thick eye bags. 

Without further ado, Maine intends to teleport to move Dias and Thea to a safer place. 

“Teleportation!!” After saying it, nothing happened. He said it again and again nothing happened. He said it again and again, but still his efforts were free. 

“What really happened??”

There were sounds of footsteps approaching. Maine was on standby by picking up the sword he had prepared in the corner of the room. 

Simultaneously, from under the floor of the room, there was someone banging. Hearing that, Maine immediately opened the floor which turned out to be a secret door for escape. 

“Mama?” Dias was surprised to see his mother coming out of the floor.

“Maine, take the kids out of here.” Said Queen Neia who looked rushed while carrying two swords with the other one still sheathed. One was his, and the other was King Vyros.

Without further ado, Maine nodded and led the two of them away from the place through a secret door. Dias was carrying the magic book she had read while holding Thea. 

“Sister, I'm afraid.” Thea said as she ran by staring at the dark passageway. Likewise with Dias who was also frightened, as well as confused by the current situation. 

"Gladarr!!" The sound of lightning indicates the weather outside is not fine. And sure enough, at night that was originally quiet and soothing, became a crowded night. 

The sound of rain that began to flutter the Kingdom was mixed with the sound of the cries of the members of the royal family who were ill-fated to be killed. 

Dias and Thea could clearly hear the horror in the secret passage, for just above the passage was a heinous massacre. But even so, they kept running. 

Queen Neia continued on her way to where Vyros was, and just out of the bedroom door, she had already been confronted by several assassins assigned to kill her two children. 

"Sheaven!!" The assassin directly charged at the Queen with his sword and was successfully fended off. The stalk was strong enough to make the assassin bounce off. 

"Imust.." Said the assassin who thought that the Queen could only use magic. 

"For all of you!!" Challenge Queen Neia who made them all provoked. The queen positioned the sword-style horses in her native area.

Eventually, the five hit men jointly attacked him. However, all those hitmen were nothing in front of the Queen. 

One by one the hit men fell. Until one person stood in fear behind. The Queen quickly darted and stabbed the last murderer on her shoulder.

"Aarrrgh!!"

"Who and where is the one who paid you, say it now!!" Threatened Neia with a cold gaze and continued to stab her sword slowly on her shoulder.

Due to unbearable pain, the Killer gave up and pointed in the direction where King Vyros was. 

"Thank you." Before leaving, not forgetting Neia pierced the killer's heart mercilessly. 

After that, Neia put Vyros' sword on her back and continued to step forward. And in front of him, there were some foreigners and some royal guards who were ready to block the Queen's steps. 

"That's Queen Neia?" Said one of the big men there in a trembling voice. 

Neia's gaze looked extremely terrifying and terrifying. With blood splotches adorning his face, he dragged the blood-soaked sword slowly. He was really angry with the current state of the kingdom, where so many royal members were betraying. 

"Don't be afraid of everyone!! for our victory and freedom!! Until when is our Kingdom led by this ridiculous and incompetent Noble!" Said one of the traitors who was originally a Royal Guard. 

"Yahoo!!" Everyone cheered and began to launch his attack. The queen who was alone without fear still stepped with mounting emotions despite being crushed by dozens of people in front of her. 

*On the other hand..

"Until when will you survive, Vyros the People's Slave? Haha." Said Julian sitting on the King's throne while watching Vyros who was struggling without using a single weapon. 

"Well.. Huh.. Huh.. " Vyros was already exhausted with the arrow that had been stuck in his thigh, and his bloody hand made him ache when moved. But at least, he could still dodge the attacks that came about him. 

Although he had already made the rounds of some of them, they were able to recover quickly thanks to the healing potions they had prepared there. 

Vyros fought, without sword and without magic. Though Vyros was the strongest magician with his fire element and no one could defeat him during this decade. But it was unexpected if he had to fight without using magic like this. 

"You're done, Vyros. It's time you gave up your kingdom to me." Julian. "I promise to take good care of her."

"Oblank, come here, I'll crush your soft mouth like bread dough so you don't babble anymore." Reply Vyros.

"Wahahaha, don't you see the situation, huh?" After Julian laughed, The people inside also laughed.

"Maha."

"Cong, Sringg.. Blaarrr!!" The large door that closed the room shattered after receiving the sword slash from outside. 

"Queen Neia?" Said Tobias who did not believe what he saw. Because he should have died when he ordered the best bodyguards in the Kingdom to kill him in the Queen's room. 

Neia threw Vyros' sword and was well received by him. 

"Time to strike back." Vyros. As if there was hope, the two of them fought against all the best bodyguards in the Kingdom, as well as some strangers unknown to them.

And as expected, everyone there was no one capable of taking them down. In contrast, the 20 people who were there were quickly exhausted. 

"What's this about? Why are they both so strong? Tobias!!" Julian was confused and shouted towards Tobias.

"Just calm down, after this he comes."

The young man wore a skull mask, black robed and his sword was also black in color. It was as if it was emitting a black aura, with its black hair. 

Vyros tried to remember once again who was the young man before him this time, and finally he remembered him. 

"The Ghosts?"

*In the secret passageway of the Kingdom. 

Dias' heart beat sounded really tight. There was a sense of uneasiness and worry going on enveloping him. Every floor he peaked, felt very heavy, as if he had to leave this place forever. 

Thea felt that way too. Somehow the sound of the shouts in the royal palace made his mind go awry. He closed his ears and continued to run and run. Ignoring all the reality that is happening around him, while praying that everything will be fine. But it is clear that nothing good will happen in the future. 

Maine kept running to lead them, until he finally found someone standing at the end. A woman wearing the uniform of the Royal Guard with a spear propped up on the edge of the wall. 

"Myrtle?" Maine stopped his steps and watched him. 

"Ah, finally came too. I'm tired of waiting for you all." Said Myrtle whom they had met during a visit to the Royal Magic Development Facility. 

"What are you doing here?" Ask Maine.

Ignoring what Maine said, Myrtle told the beasts behind him to attack them. 

Maine had to draw his sword and slash all the beasts in there while guarding Dias and Thea. 

"Stay behind me" he said. Dias and Thea followed.

The beasts ranging from tigers, tigers, gorillas, snakes, and so on began to charge towards the three of them. Fortunately, Maine has a fairly high skill in swordsmanship, so He can still keep up with all the savage creatures that are there. 

"Cong, Sringg.." One by one the animals can be subverted. Dias and Althea looked at the incident with horrified gazes. 

"Gurgh!!" The white tiger had a deep scratch on the body of Maine. Until finally he was slashed back by him who cut the Tiger's body into two parts. 

"Maine, the snake is behind you!" Dias.

"Don't come any closer, Arghh!" Sure enough, the green snake bit right at Maine's feet, and once again he slashed it backwards until about 10 dead snakes were slashed on the ground.

From Maine's blind spot, a huge rhino came and hit his body and squeezed him against the wall. 

"Brakk!!, Kingg!!" Even though his body was hit by an animal as heavy as a bus, he was still able to retaliate despite being unable to kill the rhino. The rhino only felt pain.

Maine's head started to get dizzy and made his knees fall to the ground. The snake's poison began to react. With his body already bleeding, he tried to stay afloat.

"Maine!!" Said Dias, along with the wolves that began to flock to Maine. 

"Stop!!" Myrtle said, recalling orders from his other superiors to bring them all alive. 

"Huh, huh, My-Myrtle.. What was truly ka–" Maine finally fainted was not strong enough to bear severe injuries on his body before finishing his speech. 

"Th-this is impossible.." Dias said he did not believe what he saw. His eyes were glazed over and his body was limp motionless. "Maineee!! Wake up!! Wake up, Goddamn it." Prattling

while throwing his hand on the ground.  Unlike Thea who looks very shocked and can only be silent. 

Myrtle approached Maine to confirm that he had completely fainted. He was afraid that Maine would die from blood loss. 

"Come on, move the fucking body!" Dias tried to brave himself while pounding his legs to get moving. And the miracle happened, he was able to stand up slowly. 

"Hmm. doesn't seem to be dead yet." Said Myrtle who felt the faint pulse of Maine. Myrtle then stepped over him and walked over to Dias and Thea. 

Maine suddenly wakes up, "Jleb, Duag, Sringg.." Maine stabbed Myrtle in the back, kicked him and slashed him. 

"Cat!!" The next slash failed to hit Myrtle and was successfully repelled. Maine took a few steps back. 

"Mr Prince, Princess!! Run!!" Maine Vocabulary. Dias nodded in understanding, then took Thea's hand and ran as fast as he could despite the many ferocious beasts before him. 

"I-I wouldn't let it.. Attack them!!" Myrtle's orders to his beasts. The beast immediately charged towards the two little children blindly. 

"Myrtle, it looks like this is my last gift." Maine positioned himself and then darted forward eradicating all the ferocious beasts quickly. Including the animals that block Dias and Althea.

"Maine!!" Said Althea who was not willing to leave herself alone.

"Don't mind me. Go quickly!" The reply. Suddenly another beast appeared from behind the dark shadow. "Damn it, there's no end."

Dias and Thea kept running in a hurry to leave the place until they both reached the end of the hall. 

They saw a coffin floating above the gutter. The gutter was flowing down and seemed to be able to get them out of here. 

Myrtle then wrote a message in his weakened state with his blood on a piece of paper. 

"I won't let them get away with it." He rolled up the paper and gave it to his doorman to be told to his superior. 

Maine was not aware of it because it was busy killing endless ferocious beasts even though his body had already started to limp. 

Dias and Thea went inside the crate and pushed it until they quickly slid down. Dias closed the door and the two prayed that everything would be fine. 

Meanwhile, the dove quickly headed straight to where Julian was.

"What's? they managed to escape?" Julian. 

"Send the Archers to the seaside and don't let them escape." Tobias orders the other royal guards behind him.

"Good, carry it out."

"Cursed you! Julian!!" Shouted King Vyros who had already lost both arms. 

In contrast to his wife who was even more miserable, because of the loss of both eyes that had been cut. Neia could only lie weak without seeing anything but the darkness and pain that was raining down on her eyes. 

Vyros bowed weakly before the man in the skull mask earlier. The masked man nicknamed "The Ghost" was able to defeat the two monsters alone without anyone's help. 

"Trads.." Maine dropped his sword because he could not stand it anymore and lay on the spot.

"Te. taplah.. Hi. dup.. Tu. an's.. " Maine's last words then closed her eyes. 

"Jebyurrs." The coffin darted out of the kingdom and drifted into the middle of the ocean. With the weather of a very big storm, making the chest oscillate, and whoever is in it, will definitely be nauseous. 

"Look!! that's his coffin!" Said one of the archers who saw the chest and started shooting. About 10 people were shooting together. 

"Wush, uh.." Unfortunately, not a single arrow was hit due to the strong wind, and the extremely heavy rainy weather. The clock shows five o'clock, so not much light comes in. They had to remove the coffin from the Kingdom. 

Inside the crate, Dias tightly hugged the frightened Thea. The sound of lightning with fierce waves united together to make a deafening and heart-shaking sound. They continued like that until the storm stopped and they fell asleep.

"Dias, I hope you can become a true knight, who can protect your sister in times of any danger that threatens." Neia said with a big smile. 

"No way, must have bothered to be a knight, let alone have to take care of the chatty Thea." Reply Dias. Hearing that, Neia reached out to Dias' ear.

"Aww, awww aching."

"Listen yes, this is your request, and Mama's Order is absolute!"

"Ohh, yes yes. My mother is a queen. Why should I take care of Thea? are there any Mama and Papa?" 

Hearing the plain Dias, Neia again smiled widely. 

"Dias, Mama will not forever protect you, there must be a time when you must take care of each other and protect each other. Remember that! be a strong knight and don't be weak! Catch that!" After saying that, Neia left Dias. 

"Not forever? Wouldn't Mom and Dad always be with us? where is Mama going? The mama? Don't leave me.. Mama?" Dias said as he chased Neia's shadow away. "Mama!!!"

"Sister.. Brother.." Thea woke up her delirious sister with teary eyes. 

Finally Dias opened his eyes. Her tears flowed so hard. He looked at Thea who was not in the heart, thus making his heart ache. "Thea-Thea.."

"Sister.. Huuu.. " Thea then cried and hugged her sister. His chaotic feelings due to the previous incident made him hurt in his heart and sobbing. Dias himself could not hold back his emotions and joined in crying as hard as he could.

The sky blackened again and collapsed the water it held. Very swift, as if to cry over the cruel fate of these two little children. 

Not long after that, there was a man carrying an umbrella that approached the two poor children. The man took them both home.
