Alterin Saga: Biohazard

Alterin Saga: Biohazard
Episode 1: Alexander Rave

Greetings, dear reader. On this occasion, I will bring you a historical story. Maybe no one in the world knows.

Yeah, no one. Of course besides myself. Basically, we know that the Universe was created because of the Big Bang theory, right? I almost laughed at that theory. When a student presented the theory in front of the class, I laughed.

Fortunately, no one noticed me or noticed me. I know full well, that 'Big Bang' is not the case. It was an explosion. But it is not the explosion of his name if there is no definite cause, which people can understand in detail.

You may ask, Who am I? Why can I say something like this?

Wise reader, calm down. It's just a story. You can believe it, or not. For I am not a Prophet, nor a Messenger.

It's up to you not to believe, because no one remembers it anymore. The man who is now, you could say is not a human like me.

I'm about 100 years older than the Universe you remember. Maybe you guys are still desperate to ask, Who are you?!

I told you, I am the God of the new world

Alexander Rave:

76 Years before the explosion of the universe

Humans have existed for a long time on planet Earth. But, it's not the Earth you're on right now. In my day, Earth was the center of the Constellation of the Universe.

The Sun and other planets circled the Earth at that time. We, humans, live like you humans now. We live, work and learn like you.

I live in the Capital of the country, the City of Reverie. Since I was 18, I've been living alone in a 3rd floor apartment, my unit on the 1st floor. I work at an alchemy company in one of the city's industrial districts. Living alone does not make me too burdened.

The city of Reverie is the most advanced city on Earth, with a population of about 20 million. We prospered here peacefully, due to the city's adequate and complete facilities.

This story will begin when I am 24 years old.

That day I was working in the office, taking care of some company stock documents. I checked the watch, it's late, 10 p.m. In this office there are only a few day shift employees left. Me, Sam, and 5 others. The other employees had gone home first because their work was done.

I glanced at Sam whose desk was next to mine. His face is so fucked. Her eyes were red, her hair was matted, and she occasionally rubbed her eyes to avoid getting sleepy. But it did not cover her beauty. Actually, my job's done, but Sam asked me to drive him home. Because the house is in the direction of my apartment.

"It's okay. I was also worried about the environmental conditions of the house lately at night," I smiled kindly, though somewhat forcedly.

"Ah, you guys live in the North district of the city, huh?" ask one of the officers near us, Daniel. He looked behind his computer. "I heard there were some kidnapping cases there. But until now neither the perpetrator nor the victim has been found"

"That's what I'm worried about. I was even suspicious of one of my neighbors who was out at night. Still young, anyway. Looks like a High School boy"

"really? Well then, you better be careful, Rave. No one knows what will happen if the case gets wider"

"Here you go. Let's go home, Rave. The train's coming in 10 minutes, "Sam cut our conversation.

I said, "Then I'll see you tomorrow, Daniel"

We both got out of the office, then walked towards the train station which was 500 meters away from the office. During the trip, I somehow felt watched. The offices and shops around us were closed. The atmosphere is quiet, rather dark and dim due to lack of lighting.

Geck! Geck! Geck!

I could hear the sound of the knocking of the shoes from behind. As I looked around, I saw someone standing behind the darkness of the road. His body was rather large, and strangely, hairy. His legs are slender and tiptoe. His eyes glinted at me.

I gulped, then whispered softly to Sam, "It looks like someone is following us. Don't look around"

"What?" Sam's surprised. He almost looked back.

"On the count of three, run. One... two.. ti—"

"Hey!" the man exclaimed, his hand pointing at something that looked pointed.

Reflexively, we ran quickly without looking back. I felt it, the man was chasing. The 500-meter train station is now far away.

Everything ran when Sam's High heels were damaged and made him stumble. I tried to help her, but the guy got closer to us.

I see his figure now. Hairy, rather large, brandishing shiny objects, and tiptoes. That is—
