Alexander Rave
2 Days have passed since the incident at the port. We all survived, but Miko. During these 2 days he did not want to come out of his room.
We persuaded him to come out. But in vain, Miko didn't even speak one bit. This issue could complicate Sora's plans to move to a safe place immediately. Since our location is already known to Nine, it would be dangerous if he were to send troops here.
Until finally, in the afternoon I asked Sora something. We were just the two of us, sitting on the spacious living room sofa. Sora was struggling with his laptop when I came and sat across from him.
"Sora"
"Hmm?" he responded without turning his attention to the laptop screen. Still typing and occasionally sipping tea next to his laptop.
"You know.. I've lost my memory a few years ago because of crash—"
"You want to know what and who you were before that?" Sora interrupted.
I was silent for a moment before I could. Sora sighed, then took off his glasses and put them on the table.
"Rave, sometimes we have to forget something. One of them is your past," Sora sipped his tea. Then he spoke again.
"When a person has an accident and amnesia, there are two factors. There's someone who wants you dead, or you're destined for that. That's what an expert says"
"Who?"
"That's it, I forgot. Because I was destined for it. Now about your past. I know, but I'm not gonna tell you. At least until you can take it. It's confusing, but..."
"But what?" I was curious, because he hung up his sentence.
"You're dead, Rave. 5 years ago, you died in a major accident in the city of Reverie," Sora looked at me deeply. As if to convince me that he was right.
"What's? You must be kidding"
"i'm serious. That's why your name is on the police list. For these 2 days, I've been scraping information about the biographies of everyone involved in the research"
"Then...how am I still alive?" I scrunched my forehead. Shit, this is like a fantasy movie I've ever seen.
"You—"
"Rave, Sora!" Bill suddenly ran into the living room in a panic. His breath was puffing and his face was pale.
"What's up, Bill? Running out of wine?" ask Sora.
"No. Well, even if it's true. But—"
"I already know everything. He ran away a few hours ago. Through the window of her room," Sora got up from the sofa and stretched her muscles.
"How did you know?"
"Because he left a trail under the outer window. A boat was separated 2 hours ago. Then you went through Miko's bedroom door, and panicked until your face turned pale. There's only a few things that make you look like that"
"Then why don't you go look for him right then and there?" Bill looked at Sora somewhat annoyedly.
"It's free if I go after him. Imagine someone who killed your father is after you, too. You must be scared and run away faster" Sora finished his tea. Then put the cup roughly on the table.
"Reverie City. Miko's headed there"
"Huh?"
"The ship's route is heading towards the port of Reverie, at least that's the place Miko is familiar with," Sora immediately turned on her phone and called someone.
"Hello. Yes, book 5 passenger tickets. No more ships until tomorrow? Then..." Sora looked at us for a moment, "Can you prepare a ship captain?"
...---...
I wasn't surprised anymore when the four of us boarded Sora's private ship. He was famous in Genneva Village for his wealth, but I didn't think he was so rich.
"We'll be arriving at Reverie's port in an hour. Prepare for a close inspection from the military there," Sora shouted from the deck of the ship. The four of us were not listening. Enjoy the atmosphere on the deck. When else can we get on a private boat and act like a boss?
"Sora, you never told me about your family. Can you tell me?" ask Sam. I also wonder about the Sora family.
But Sora just said, "They're gone. Since I breathed my first breath"
We just fell silent, feeling guilty for asking. It must be heavy if it has been a kara since birth.
"I got all this for my own hard work. It's been 50 years—" Sora went silent instantly.
"Forget over. Let's get into the cabin. It's getting colder here," Sora stepped away.
I didn't hear wrong, did I?
It's been 50 years...
Sora must be hiding something from all of us.
