Alterin Saga: Biohazard
Episode 5: Zero

Zero

I finally got out of that place. I haven't had a breath of fresh air in a long time. In front of me now, stood two people who had allied themselves with me. Both bowed respectfully.

"Zero, it's time to go. This place will soon be quarantined by the government. We'd better leave before the army finds the remaining Projects" Sharon, a teenage boy allied with me, said as she stretched out a fur coat.

The weather became very cold. The waves from the explosion did not seem to be enough to sweep away the clouds in the sky and the snow on the ground.

"What about the current state of the city?", I asked while wearing the coat. Quite warm and comfortable, regardless of the fur and stains in it.

"As expected. Messed up, and it provoked the other Projects to come out of their hiding," Wendy, a middle-aged woman, came forward and said that.

"Our plan worked, though not completely. At least, this city will now be forgotten in our footsteps" I said.

"Don't be happy, Zero, this is just the beginning. You're still at the lowest point among all of us after all these years of being sealed," Nine, I can't see it clearly because he's standing behind the darkness. Apparently he's still here. I didn't realize it.

"The bunker is already designed to periodically reduce Mathanus cells. So the point is, you're very weak right now. Without the explosive device, this plan wouldn't work"

I understand what Nine has said. He is a very clever and clever project. Until now I have never seen his abilities directly.

"So? Where are we?", my question was immediately answered with a map Nine threw at me.

"Follow the guide. After all, it's not hard to fly a plane" Nine said.

I put the map in my coat pocket. "Then what about you? You're coming with us?"

"Well, I don't like the place you're going. Too dirty for me. But if you need my help, just tell me, "Nine just get out of there and disappear with the wind.

Sharon was still paying attention to where Nine was standing earlier. "Do you believe that guy?"

"Of course, he set me free. Besides, I think he's useful for our plan"

I was silent, remembering what happened a few years ago. But I decided not to talk about it now.

"Sharon, take us to that place" I opened the map and pointed to a red dot there, Flemington International Airport.

Alexander Rave

Looks like this place is safe, but this is not the place we're headed to. Bill said that the place we were going to was still far away. Finally Laura, the female soldier who was our driver, steered the Hovercar to the port.

We got off at the dock and saw there were 3 fishing boats moored here. There are no other ships besides that. Miko with the initiative of checking one of the ships. Sam and Bill also check out the other ship.

"It's been a long time, yeah. You must be confused by this incident," Laura stood next to me, staring at the vast ocean in front of her.

"Yes, to be honest, I don't know anything about myself. What really happened before I got into an accident? What do I do—no, what are humans trying to do?"

"Rave—"

"Damn, all these ships are damaged. The machine froze and didn't work" said Bill who returned with Miko and Sam.

"Then how?"

Bill thought for a moment, "If all the ships die, there's only one way to get there. Aircraft or helicopter"

"No, Bill. Helicopters won't last long in this kind of weather" Laura said. "We'll use the plane. That's the only way left

"We're going to Flemington International Airport. There's one plane belonging to my squadron. I happen to be the pilot"
