A Thousand Faces: The Book of Destiny

"It has been a thousand years since that day." muttered another figure who had just landed a moment ago next to the young man and the girl. The figure of the young man closed his wings when he realized his action made the lake water oscillate unsettled.

"Yes!" replied the young man. "How many meetings this time! We always end it with my death as a human being!"

The young man clenched his hands full of emotion.

"How could there be such an event?! I just didn't expect, until now you guys have been in and out of the valley world so many times!"

Pointing to an old, reddish-black book lying beside the girl's right hand, the young man replied in annoyance.

"Every time that damn book opens, I'm going to be reborn into a human being who's in the corner of the earth! Then as soon as I can find him, death always comes to pick me up." he replied annoyedly. "I'm kind of in control of that damn book!"

"Since when has there been such a fate book and since when has everything become like this?!" the other figure looked at the two figures before him again.

"I didn't realize it!" answer the young man. "When he woke up from the bottom of the lake, he was no longer there. And once I realized everything, I had to die many times every time I who as a human managed to see and find his figure in the middle of the sea of humans." replied the young man who still embraced the girl.

"For the past thousand years, I have been completely unaware of your existence. Just this time I saw the upheaval here, and just wanted to check it out."

In an all-black suit with his red tie, the other figure was crouching before the two. Touching the girl's forehead with her index finger. Not until it completely touched part of his skin, the hand was bounced away from being stung by the flash of blackish-red lightning that came out from the forehead of the girl.

"Curse valley?" exclaim that other figure. He looked at the young man questioningly.

The young man sighed while nodding slowly.

"How is that possible?"

"I don't know what he's doing until I have to accept the curse."

Seemed a little upset but was also guessing all the possibilities of the fragments of his memory of the events on the lake floor where he realized then disappeared and was born as a human, he said, the young man tried to bring out his power which he realized had been sealed out of nowhere and out of nowhere.

"Is this book possible?!"

The other figure was then glued to the book beside the girl's right. Taking it lightly, he forgot the vexation and the young man's sentence of the reddish-black-coated old book. Opening the page of the reddish-black-coated old book, the other figure immediately fell silent and stiffly aware of the mistake he had made without him noticing.

The young man who had not had time to prevent the actions of the other figure instantly disappeared from before him. Leaving the girl's body lying on the edge of the dock with another figure who immediately patted his own eel after realizing what he was doing.

"When he just said! Why am I so careless!"

At first the other figure intended to close the dark-red-covered old book, but eventually left the book open once he became aware of the fate writing on the pages of the book.

"This!!!" yells.

Not yet finished reading the writing of fate on the page of the book that opened, the old book and the girl also disappeared from his sight. Making the other figure confused with what he experienced.

"Why should they both???" his gerrick. "If it had been them, whatever happened never seemed to go according to the rules!"

The other figure stared at the sky across the lake. Looking up for a moment to enjoy the wind and sunlight that pierced through the sky of the valley, the other figure recalled a few lines of fate writing that existed between two figures who had just disappeared due to his own mistakes.

"I'll bear the additional burden of dealing with their problems..."

The other figure then disappeared in the middle of the dock along with the appearance of another figure who stared at the departure of the winged figure with a meaningful smile.

"This time, I won't let go!" he said with his sharp eyes. The figure was a puff of smoke that floated but had a form that was faintly visible behind the smile and sharp gaze.

The figure in the form of a puff of smoke then followed the disappearance of another winged figure and flew along with a cloudy cloud that crossed over the lake. The figure blends together a collection of beginnings that stretch above the sky of the lake.

Accompanied by the sound of birds chirping fretfully, the dark air instantly killed some of the plants that grew around the dock.

Meanwhile, at the bottom of a floating valley where there was only one house with a tree as its foundation, the girl lay unconscious with an old book covered in reddish black covered with a part of her face.

The sunlight that pierced through the gaps of the leaves hit the skin of his face that was not covered by the book section and brought the girl's consciousness back slowly.

At his initial glance, he felt something blinding his eyes and at the same time, he felt extremely exhausting. His energy was drained by something he did not know.

"This book is open again." sighed the girl.

Trying to move the black-red-bound old book from his face. He then sat down with great difficulty. Recovering his lost energy when he had just regained consciousness. With a seat on one hand, he read the writing on the reddish-black-coated old book even though it still looked vaguely by him.

*Sunflowers on the corner of the road show its beauty when I meet the figure again. A figure who had long thrown me away but at the same time also embraced me into his arms*

*At the same time, the wind began to disturb the calmness of the golden red-leafed trees. All the leaves fall by leaving a tree branch that remains firm in its place. A clattering sound filled the valley space sadly.*

*The meeting will repeat itself. Death will come many times. Everything is writing. Everything is destiny. Everything is optional*.*

The girl sighed while sighing. He looked around again. Looking at all the corners of the place he had lived in the past few hundred years.

"This time, when and where should I pick up the soul of the owner of this book??" said the girl took off the maroon robe she was wearing.

Leaving the robe just like that next to the reddish-black-coated old book that had been tightly shut. One red thread was embroidered on the rim of the robe by forming a knot of ties with the omega emblem. This was already the 100th row, but the girl was not aware of it at all.
