The drizzling rain started the morning feeling increasingly cold. For three days Laras did not go to school because of his illness. During those three days, the grandmother took care of Laras very painstakingly as usual. The grandfather always saw the state of Baras every few hours. The smiles and laughter of the two old men made Laras feel comfortable and hurt as well. He clearly remembered how the expressions of Aksara and Zara were to his request. While the figure of the guard seems reluctant to show his expression in the corner. He only remained at his residence and silence which either the other two creatures were aware of or not.
"I've had better cake" Laras replied as soon as his grandfather approached him with two bags of crackles filled with many packages.
"Grandfather put it here" said the grandfather then turned around and prepared to step out of the room.
"Who's this cake from?"
Stunned barrel. He looked at the other figure that followed behind the grandfather.
"He's your classmate." replied the grandfather. " Grandfather's going to the kitchen to see what your grandmother made for breakfast. You, please accompany Laras."
"Thank you." the answer came out in a very polite tone. Different from his usual self. Who always tried to disturb Laras at every time he had. Or rather the figure of the guard who this time did not show himself at all.
He's Eren. Wearing a school uniform, Eren should be at school by this hour.
"You truant?" ask the first barrel.
"School or not, does it matter?"
Laras furrowed his brows. A moment to forget how Eren's true self is.
"Maybe it's because of the pain, I'm so dazed." Laras muttered and let Eren sit in his study chair. "Sorry, a little messy."
"It looks like it's been better" Eren said after trying to measure Laras' body temperature.
"Hmm" Laras nodded slightly then confirmed his seat for cheating with Eren's actions just now.
There was a moment of silence in the room. Laras did not know what to say to the young man in front of him. He glanced at the innate that his grandfather had put down.
"Thank you for the inn." said Laras kaku.
Not much to say, Eren suddenly rubbed Laras head.
"Next time, want to go for a walk?" bargained for.
Laras was more and more stunned by Eren's invitation. With just that one action and sentence, it had made Laras meet red. The pain instantly disappeared and his body felt hot from excitement.
"Don't you have to go to school?" the grandfather chided politely. Presenting the tea to Eren and looking at Eren in a strange way. "Oh, no." said the grandfather again. "You guys are friends?"
That question he asked Laras. Answering with a nod of his head, Laras answered the grandfather's question.
"Thank God" said the grandfather calmly.
"Please enjoy your time with your grandchildren" Eren said politely. "I resigned to go to school."
His grandfather Laras only nodded small. Let Eren out of that room and leave their home in peace. After Eren died from the old house, the grandfather sat casually beside Laras. Welcoming his grandfather with pleasure, Laras immediately embraced the grandfather.
"How about we have a picnic on the hill behind the school?" The barrel implies sparkling eyes. It was as if he was a child who wanted something great in his life.
"really. It's been a long time since we've had time to be together." the laughing grandmother entered the room with joy.
"I'll get everything ready today..." Barrel got up from his seat. When he was about to take a jacket for himself, Laras glanced at Eren's luggage bag at him.
"Is everything ready?" the grandfather asked after seeing the stuffing of the bag that Eren had brought for his grandson. "Let's get ourselves ready." Grandpa took Grandma with joy. Along the way to his room, they seemed to be talking about something fun for both of them.
Barrel smiled bitterly. He glanced back into Eren's bag. Look at all the stuffing again. And remember everything with joy.
"I'll hate tomorrow!" gumam Laras. He rubbed a little of his tears that came out at the end of his eyes.
Along the way to the hill behind the school, Laras walked while carrying 2 bags Eren luggage plus a backpack containing an electric stove and grill. While the grandfather and grandmother chatted casually in front of Laras hand in hand.
"Haw...." Complaints of the umpteenth time. It was only ten minutes of travel. It felt like all that innate was quite heavy on his shoulders. But how else, he felt very healthy after the arrival of Eren earlier and with his spirit invite his grandparents to picnic in the hill behind the school yard.
"I helped bring this!" Eren had already pulled two of his carry-on bags from Laras' hands. He smiled casually then walked leisurely in front of Laras.
"Can I join your plans today?! School came home early it turns out." said Eren aimed at elderly couples in front of him. Laras's grandfather and grandmother simply answered with a small nod and then smiled to welcome Eren to the family's picnic plan.
"Take this whole date." Eren plays his eyes on Laras who looks like a fool on his way.
"Who wants a date with you!"
"I paid a lot for it today" said Eren, lifting up his plastic bag for Laras. "So inevitably and like to dislike, today is our first date."
Laras blushed embarrassed by Eren's behavior this time. It really wasn't the usual Eren. Laras was even made even more embarrassed when Eren did not hesitate to embrace his hand on the shoulder of Laras.
Can this be considered a date? Or rather a family picnic. Thinking that Laras felt increasingly red. His heart was pounding and forgetting almost all the sadness and grief about his grandparents.
In the vast expanse of grassland on the hill, Eren laughed loosely considering Laras forgot to bring a mat for their pedestal to sit on. He had to go back down to school to pick up a mat and immediately took his car up the school hill.
"I completely forgot about this..." Baras immediately rolled out the mat. Setting up the stove and grill to cook the sliced meat that Eren prepared for the picnic this time.
"Forget over! We need to make food quickly! I'm hungry." Eren returned casually patting Laras' head. Make the heart Laras more feel pounding not because of. _It feels like my face is hot_ Inner Laras. She patted her cheeks to wake herself up. To re-arrange the rhythm of his heart that felt was out of its way.
"Today, let us do it all for you."
"All right." the grandfather smiled. "Call me grandfather is fine, son." added the grandfather. Eren smiled knot. Then he and Laras were busy grilling some sliced meat, broccoli, a chicken prick and some chicken wings. After enjoying a few grills that they thought were a bit salty, grandparents chose to rest themselves under a shade tree close to where they had a picnic.
"Wanna take a walk?" tawar Eren looked at Laras who was staring softly at his grandfather and grandmother.
The barrel nodded small. He got up from his seat and let all the cookware fall apart on the mat he held. Without saying anything, Eren presented one skewer of roasted chicken wings to Laras in the middle of their journey to the highest peak of the hill.
"Eat. You seem to like it a lot." Eren rubbed his neck. His attitude is a little misbehaved. Likewise with another figure Eren who suddenly appeared and met red. Laras glanced then lowered his head slowly.
"Thank you for everything today." said Laras ahead of Eren's step after successfully finishing the roasted chicken wings given to him.
"Don't step around!" Eren stopped Laras' steps by pulling his hand. Grasping her and letting herself guide Laras's step to the next. A few steps towards the top of the hill, Eren stopped his steps. The barrel that was unaware of it instantly hit Eren's back quite hard.
"ouch!" hissing Laras. "What's wrong? Why did it suddenly stop?" Laras looked up to look in front of him. It seems unusual in front of them. It was no longer a hilltop that presented the natural beauty of the surroundings, but rather a dark cave door that Eren knew as the only path to the gray valley.
"Why show up here?" Laras intends to balance his position with Eren but is obstructed by another figure of the young man. The guard is now standing in front of Laras. It was as if it was a place for Laras to hide himself from the sizzling thing before them.
