The new barrel will throw the sandals he wears to Aksara when he realizes he is in a different place. Not the terrace of his house or the path of the red brick where he went to take souls to his last journey with Aksara.
“ This where?? ” Mumbles Barrel. And that voice echoed quite creepily from where it stood. “ Aksara... loe where??? ” Laras trying to find a gap to find a figure who a few minutes ago surprised him in front of his house.
The place he was standing in was now a place that was completely unimaginable to him. A place so bleak, dark, and desolate. Surrounding him there was nothing but a sipping fog and blocking his visibility in that place. Every now and then stepping up to find a way out of that gloomy place, his feet were humming something like a brick whose tip was slightly tapered.
“ Looks like no ordinary stone.. ” mumbled Laras trying to feel around where he stumbled.
His hand continued to palpate and continued to find out something that made his foot stumble. The cold felt more and more piercing as Laras' hand approached something that made him stumble. Once the hand was able to feel what he was looking for, cold sweat immediately poured out of Laras' forehead. Breath snorted. His gaze immediately glared, not daring to see and ascertain what objects he was holding now.
“ Si, si, anyone.. to...long.... ” murmur Fearless barrel. His whole body was trembling. He was trying to find something or anything in the thick of the fog. So wanting to keep his hand away from the object he managed to hold, the other part of the object immediately held his hand. Hold it very strong. Then rise slowly and show his form which is only a human skull bone. The eyes of the skull were emitting a reddish color that was so dense. Making Laras completely terrified and shocked by what was holding his hand.
“ KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!! ”
Barrel fell out of his bed. His breath is hunting and stinging. His throat felt dry and choked. Cold sweat poured out all over his face and his body trembled in fear.
“What the fuck was that.. ” murmured with a voice that also vibrated. “ Is it Just a dream?? ” Baras patting both cheeks. " The creepy place..” murmured. His body shuddered in horror at the place he had just dreamed of.
“Dreams.. It's all just a dream. ” Burying his face between his chest and knees, Laras convinced himself that his recent experience was just a dream. A nightmare that means nothing at all.
His memory goes back to the events before he had that nightmare. The characters came to him and it made Laras panic even more. He got up from his seat. His mind was completely muddled considering the arrival of the Aksara in the middle of the night yesterday. Steps sure. With increasing fear, he several times swung and fell right in front of the door of the grandmother's room that was wide open. The bed was neat. The curtains beside the bed were already half open and the sound of the old closet that closed the grandmother made Laras finally able to calm all the fear and panic that attacked him.
“ You are not ready for Laras school? ” asked the grandmother to find her grandson sitting limp in front of her door. The grandmother smiled and gently rubbed the hair. “ Let's take a shower and get ready for school. Grandma will prepare breakfast for you. ”
Unable to say anything, Laras immediately cried and hugged the grandmother warmly. He could not bear all his fears because of the coming of the Aksara last night. Coupled with her nightmares that led her to many unreasonable feelings. Fear, loneliness, loneliness, and gloomy feelings that make him reluctant to come to school today. I just wanted to take a break at home to give back all of my belief that today things will go well all day.
His bike was so lethargic. His eyes are far away. His mind was still a little muddled with the amount of fear he had this morning. Not looking excited, Laras missed a few things without him noticing. It was the step of a man who had messed up his midnight and frightened him by his grandmother and grandfather this morning.
Charged by the umpteenth bicycle, Laras involuntarily shed his tears. Sadness filled all his memories. It was hard to leave his house. He doesn't want to go to school. He wants to be home. Want to be with the grandmother who a while ago prepared her favorite fried rice. Who this morning smiled so brightly at her husband and only grandchild.
“ Live well. Do not let you forget to eat, son. ” said the grandmother at the table eating after serving a plate of fried rice to her and to the husband. “ Grandma can not cook often for you. So eat a lot. ” the smile was glistened as soon as the grandfather showed his smile as a sign of gratitude to the grandmother.
A glimpse of the shadow he passed this morning after dreaming so sinister, making Laras feel more about something bad happening. His feelings were again disturbed and lost their calm as soon as he entered the main road to his school. Several times he tried to get all the bad thoughts out of his mind. He shook his head and told himself that nothing bad would happen today.
Just a moment that the heart and mind were dominated by calmness, Laras now immediately resigned to the things that would happen unexpectedly in front of his eyes. The bike brakes were blong and a car stopped in front of him. Accidents are inevitable. The barrel bike hit the back of the car bumper, making it fall toppled and unconscious.
Laras had just opened his eyes once he found another figure Aksara sitting beside the bed where he was lying. The middle script plays a crystal ball that contains the inside of the dandelion flower. The crystal sparkles and displays a rainbow of colors each time the characters rotate it. The gaze of Laras continued to be fixed on that Crystal ball. He did not say hello or try to talk to Aksara because he saw Zara watching herself from the direction of the door of the UKS room which nuanced green turkis.
“ Already aware? ” greet Zara approaching Laras to the bed space UKS it. up beside the bed, Zara casually dismiss the figure of Aksara who immediately get out of place. “ How are you doing? ”
“ What happened? ” Laras holds the middle part of her forehead taped with the wound plaster. Also noticed some of his hands were blisters on the elbows and arms.
“ Death Angel picks you up. ” replied Zara sekenannya. He tried to measure the pulse of Laras who still looked so pale.
“ Really? ” asked Laras glanced at Aksara who immediately looked at him casually. He shrugged his shoulders slightly then refocused on the Crystal he was carrying. The eyes of Aksara on the Crystal she was carrying was very different from the way she usually stared. There was something he was counting on.
“ Looks like your situation is a little chaotic. ” said Zara confirming her sitting position. This time he was really staring deeply into Laras eyes. “ Are you ready with so many surprises today? ” full meaning tanya.
“ You mean??? ”
Focusing on Zara's eyes, Laras saw the unexpected radiating from within her friend's eyes. The thing that made him realize that Zara is not a human.
He and the same script. Bhatin Baras's. Laras looked at Aksara then refocused on Zara who was looking at him casually.
“ Loe did not realize it at all even though he had seen it several times. ”
“ I'm just less sure. ” replied Laras who returned to glance at Aksara.
The characters do not comment at all. He remained focused on the crystal and like he was deliberately ignoring Laras who looked at him meaningfully.
“ So... am I dead? ”
“ Do you really want death? ” that raucous voice turned Zara and Aksara's gaze to the window beside Laras' right. He was an old maroon-robed figure with a wisp of mist behind his back.
“ The guard?!! ” Aksara and Zara are on standby immediately.
