A Thousand Stories: New Life in the past

The sun was shining, dazzling the vision of Laras on his bed. The wind flickering on the curtains beside his bed adds a sense of laziness to immediately get up from his bed. But the sound of the hum of the lawn mower around the yard of the house, making Laras inevitably wake up aghast.

He rubbed his face rough and brushed the hair back violently. He got up and ran up to the front porch of his room. Found some residents of the complex that he recognized was cleaning his yard, Laras smiled stiffly and misbehaved.

"Work!" a broomstick fell right under his feet. "Don't just watch us clean up! Come on help! This is your house!" the girl who owned the restaurant in the corner of the complex last night chatted with her around her waist in front of the porch of the house.

Using a long white hat on the right-left side and behind him, the figure then extended his hand to Laras.

"Work!" he said it again in a loud enough voice, but did not mean to snap.

The timid barrel immediately took a broomstick under his feet. Moving out of his room and then following the cleaning activities carried out by some of his neighbors first.

"Thank you!" Say Baras to every neighbor who helps him.

Some cut the grass. Clean the walls and roof of the house. Some allow water taps, electricity, and a fireplace in the kitchen that is clean from the bush. Then Laras and the restaurant owner girl named, Yuma was partly interesting and cleaned some parts of the bush that had been rooted in the gutter.

Both laughed when both fell in a sitting position after being defeated by the strong roots of the bush they were about to pull out. The two girls looked back at the bush. Work together again and then pull the bush in a matter of three together.

The cleaning activity of the house Laras lasted for half a day. As soon as 12 pm, the neighbors closest to the house Laras brought some drinks and snacks as accompany their time to rest after being tired of the cleaning activities they did.

In front of all his neighbors, Laras took the initiative to thank him in the right way. Although he could not give anything, but Laras hoped that one day he would be able to repay their kindness for the clean-up activities they do today.

"No need to worry, son!" said an old man with a distended stomach with a holster on the bottom. His body is a bit fat and reminds us of the quality uncle in the children's watch series titled upin and ipin. Only difference, this father's hair is thick and curly. "We're doing this because we're supposed to."

"Yes son!" a white-haired old woman wearing a white T-shirt with gray training pants continued the talk of the uncle earlier. "We are happy to do this activity! Your grandparents used to invite us together to just clean up this neighborhood, and we got used to it."

"One month we'll clean up the whole complex! But this house, the more cleaned the busier the vines day. We stopped ourselves from cleaning this house for the last three years." Yuma.

"Then six months ago, Yuma saw a big snake here. Asking for help to the residents of the complex to capture it and hand it over to captivity." This time a father with a thick mustache and a little hair on the top of his head, told how big the snake he caught at that time.

"Then we were with the captive team, cleaning some parts to check the nest of other snakes."

"It was then that we realized that the part of the vines that we cleaned the next day was not growing anymore" it was the turn of a pair of unidentified grandparents who connected the story.

"And from that day on we decided to slowly clean this part of the house, until this morning Yuma said that you have come home!"

"You two?!" Laras pointed to shock.

"We're your new next door neighbor!" said the granny laughing funny looking at the expression of Laras. Surprised and wrong. Somehow Baras way to return the money at this time.

"We moved here 2 years ago with our son. But they're moving out of the country now."

Laras nodded in understanding.

"Hm..Look at..."

"For the jacket and its contents, is it used well?" asked the grandfather with a face that was as friendly as yesterday.

"We saw you when we were going to send something to our son who lives abroad" replied the grandfather. "We didn't know what you might need, so we just gave you that jacket."

"Thank you again for your kindness!" Laras bowed to all his neighbors in the past. And to the grandparents who became new neighbors to him.

"All right! Never mind the story," the uncle who became the owner of the post-newspaper and milk business where he worked first, came with a bag containing food from the restaurant he pioneered with Yuma, the child. "Let's eat together before going home to rest.!"

"Come! Let's eat!!" all who do clean-up activities welcome the lunch with joy. There was friendly talk, stories, and laughter adorning the day.

Baras felt so good that morning until that afternoon. Both after everything returned to their respective homes, Laras could still feel the warmth he had gained in that short period of time.

Now Laras sits on the porch of his house. Look at every part of his house. Then he ate the snacks he got from the neighbors as their welcome for Laras' return to the complex.

"It's nice to be back here..."He stretched out both his hands and feet. Pulling the two parts strong and then laying himself on the back.

For a moment Laras closed his eyes. Enjoying the gust of wind that hit his face then let the body slowly lose consciousness.

"Clearned!" That raucous voice was disturbing the hearing

The barrel that suddenly came to a realization was already in an illusionary space with a puff of smog filling that dimensional space. The sound was either flowing from which direction, but Laras was able to recognize the raucous voice. The voice of another Eren figure who was now silent facing the gray valley gate sealed by him.

"I don't recognize your current figure!" muttered. "I don't think he is you! Even if you become human, is it possible that your attitude will be so different?!"

The barrel in that dimension is constantly looking for the direction of the sound that is echoing around it. The voice of another Eren-sounding figure echoed many times with the same sentence.

"Is that really you?"

"Why do I feel foreign?!"

"I miss your old figure, Laras."

Laras was stunned to hear the raucous voice saying his name. Associating his name with the phrase 'I miss your figure'. Laras looked around him. Then found a dark-spirited black shadow that immediately attacked and strangled his neck.

Laras awoke from his sleep. He rubbed his face and let out a long breath.

"How should I make him know that his actions have harmed his soul." Barrels scrambled his hair. Then comb it neatly back using his fingers.

Stunned barrel. Empty look. Just as empty as any other figure Eren was in his maroon red robe. He opened the hood that covered his head and then felt back all the parts of his face that were audibly turned into the arrangement of a human skull.

"What kind of destiny do I have to live with right now?"

Both Laras and Lain Eren both questioned the thing on the blank before him. The views of both still remain as empty as the mystery that again prevents the two from being able to live a happy destiny for each other.
