A Thousand Stories: The Guardians

Despite Rein's unconsciousness, Laras is anxious about the diagnosis given by his neighbor, Dr. Randy. Which also happened to be in the back lane of a taxi that was boarded by Laras.

Laras, along with Randy's doctor and the taxi driver he was riding in, helped lift Rein and the young man next to Rein into Randy's car.

Bringing both of them towards home because they are closer and Randy's doctor can be faster to provide help because his house is next to the two girls who are now both in his car, although the condition of both is much different.

"Wheel. Please clean a little bit of the wound on Rein's forehead with alcohol in the box next to you" said Dr. Randy, who drives with the calmness he usually shows in the worst conditions.

"Ba, fine! deftly Baras took a cotton swab and spilled a small amount of the alcohol content of the wound cleaner that pepper the cotton surface.

He rubbed the half-wet cotton swab onto Rein's forehead, his best friend. Every time Laras rubbed the cotton with the alcohol, Rein was unconscious and looked like she was moaning in pain. While the young man who was leaned on the front seat next to Randy's doctor, was still unconscious.

"You know what really happened?" ask Dr. Randy on the way to their house.

Laras shook his head slowly. He noticed the wound and the pale face that Laras first saw from Rein.

"So early in the morning we were still going to college together and at the time of returning home, I could not find Rein anywhere." Laras replied then fell silent considering the events at the end of his lecture hours that were so gripping and creepy to remember.

Laras shook his head slowly to expel the memories that covered most of Laras's view of what he should have remembered back then.

"Rein seemed to be in shock about something" Randy's doctor said after examining Rein for the first time. "He was sweating coldly and was occasionally delirious in the car" he added.

"I'll give you the medicine that's in my house for Rein to drink. Also the medicine for this young man." he said back after examining the state of the young man who from the beginning left a deep impression in the mind of Laras.

But every time it seemed to remember something, Laras' eyes seemed to be covered by a haze of smoke that scattered all his concentration.

"Are you okay keeping them alone?"

"No doc." replied Laras. "I just need to move Rein to his room and let this young man rest here."

"So you don't recognize him?" randy's doctor closed the equipment he was carrying in the trunk of his car.

Laras shook his head slowly but looked dubious. He recalled never seeing the young man, but his heart felt a very close thing to his figure that continued to seize the sight of Laras.

"Let him rest here. Looks like he's a good young man." said doctor Randy preparing to leave for his house next door.

"Good doctor!" laras replied kindly following the doctor to the front door. "What about the doctor's medicine?"

The doctor turned around quickly while hitting his forehead. "Oh, yes! Let's take it home." she replied in a small chuckle.

The barrel follows the steps of Randy's doctor who walks in front of him. Each step is calculated. Until he passed the street lamp between his house and the doctor's house, Laras stopped his steps. Seeing his own reflection on the sidewalk of that road.

Still remember Laras how dark the shadow that appeared before Laras. A shadow that awakens from its own shadow within.

Laras shook his head slowly.

"It's Medicine. Give it as per this writing well!" doctor Randy said when he saw Laras stepping with fixation and thoughts that were not on his body.

"Thank you, doc!'

"No need to be sad" he replied.

Laras returned home and found the figure of the young man in his living room was awake and sitting pensively while arranging and thinking about something.

"You're sober?" Laras approached slowly the figure of the young man sitting on the long sofa of his living room. Step by step, Laras felt a very close.

"Are you okay?!" asked Laras again so one step away from the young man.

"What's my business, am I okay or not?!" the sentence spoken was so familiar and not awkward towards Laras who was still pensive with an uncontrolled heartbeat when he met the young man.

The young man raised his legs and sat cross-legged without caring about the response Laras showed. The medicine was still Laras held tightly to him to give to Rein, but Laras for a moment like forgetting the important thing he had to do.

Meanwhile behind the wall of the second floor staircase, Rein who realized from his stupor was sitting in the corner of the stairs while looking at the familiarity of his best friend with the young man who should be a stranger to Laras. The young man that Rein had liked since their first gaze.

Rein chose to hide behind the staircase barrier and steal another conversation between Laras and the young man. A conversation that made Rein feel pain in his chest.

"You know how long I've been waiting for you?" the sharp look of the youth towards Laras. A sharp gaze that was not piercing, but a sharp gaze that gave Laras so much longing to the figure of the young man in front of him.

"I want to go there....Want to meet him.." murmured Laras with tears streaming down and fell on his lower side.

The tears fell. It gave rise to the sound of water ripples that sounded very clearly in an endless dark place.

A cursory shadow appeared, leaving only the sound and sight of the eye in a very dark place.

"Who?" mumbles Baras. His mind immediately spun rapidly and Laras dropped the medicine he was carrying.

His hands trembled and his body immediately fell fast as fast as the young man's hand held Laras' body down.

"What's wrong?" the young man looked worried. He looked at the figure of Laras well and felt an awkwardness that he was unable to understand.

Laras shook his head slowly. He clasped the hand of the young man who had been holding his body back from falling.

The young man helped him to his feet, helped Laras sit on the sofa beside the young man, and picked up the medicine that had fallen from Laras' arms.

"Are you okay?" the young man asked Laras.

Laras. There was an unbearable longing, yet there was something else that plagued his mind. It was another shadow that appeared behind the young man's shoulders.

A shadow with glowing red eyes flipped behind a conical hood to the top that covered most of his face. The robe was gray with several fireballs the size of a flaming tennis ball that formed a shield behind the creature that seemed familiar to Laras.

"Is that really you?!" tanya Laras laughed with the shadow of the creature's figure emanated clearly on the eyeball Laras.

The young man stared at the shadow on the eyeball of Laras.

"Yes! That's me!" answer the young man.

Rein was disappointed.

After a long evening, Rein was unable to close his eyes. It was still very clear what Rein had seen and heard between Laras and the young man he had liked since the first time they looked at each other.

Tears dripped from his cheeks. Rein rubbed it away and left pain not only in his eyes, but also in his chest. He started sobbing and buried his face in the pillow in front of him.

"It hurts!" isaac Rein.

The bandage of the head opened and exposed its shadow in the mirror with a dim light. Looking at his reflection in the mirror across from his bed, Rein was silent for a moment.

Those tears were slowly wiped away. Rein continued to stare at his shadow while rising from his bed. Positioning himself sitting on the mattress by hugging the bolster pillow that he had been hugging.

His once sad eyes began to show a cold and stiff face. Rein got up from his seat and rubbed the wound in front of the mirror. His heart is pounding. Rein turned off the room lights, then went to sleep.
