After undergoing classroom construction, cadets will do practice construction. Dressed in orange uniforms and black hats, they headed to Adi Sujtipto to practice the field. With Cesna's aircraft towed, the Glider's plane is ejected from the hangar. Now they will learn the specifications of the aircraft directly.

The cadets were divided into 12 groups. Each group will receive a briefing from one coach. They listened to the trainer as he explained the parts of the plane, opened the cockpit door, then asked one of the cadets to come in and sit behind the wheel of the plane.

The glider aircraft used in this flying exercise is slim with wings longer and narrower than the aircraft in general, or commonly called wings with high aspect ratio. Wings with this high aspect ratio produce little drag, and are suitable for fly types.

The cockpit seat is slightly sloping, until the pilot's position when sitting is not really upright, but half lying down or leaning. The cockpit is also not large. By sitting leaning back, the cockpit and canopy become slimmer, thus reducing drag while in the air. The surface of the fuselage is also designed as smooth as possible, allowing the aircraft to fly through the air with little parasitic resistance.

Azzam went into the cockpit. The trainer directs how to wear the correct seat belt. After making sure the body is locked with a seat belt, the trainer explains all the components on the plane. How to move a lever to bend a plane. The head of Azzam nodded in understanding.

After Azzam, the other cadets alternated into the cockpit and got a similar explanation. Later the cadets will also practice flying the Glider guided by a coach. They can't wait to drive the plane without the engine.

The cadets seemed excited as they entered the airstrip for the kite flight practice. This time they will practice flying the plane. To do this training, it is done in turns, according to their respective groups. Azzam happens to be a group with Zakaria and Seno.

They pushed the aircraft without the engine to the rear of the Cesna plane. Later the small plane will pull the Glider plane into the air. Before starting the exercise, the cadets were given backpacks containing parachutes. They must carry the backpack, in order to anticipate unexpected events when above later.

Azzam helped Seno connect the carmantel strap to the backpack carried by his best friend. In turn, the twelve people will conduct a test fly kite. In front of the Glider, Cesna was ready, a small aircraft with engines. They hooked a rope from Cesna's plane to the nose of the Glider plane. Later the plane will be pulled into the air by Cesna aircraft.

Azzam prayed in his heart before he entered the cockpit. He immediately put a seat belt on his body. In the rear cockpit, a coach who would accompany him to train had also boarded. The one who accompanied Azzam this time was Major Indra. Once both are ready, the cockpit or canopy door is closed. The Cesna plane in front of him started moving. The rope that had been installed began to pull the Glider plane that was boarded by Azzam.

Cesna's plane raced on the runway, slowly taking off. Slowly but surely, Azzam felt his body start to float. He turned his head to the side. The Glider's plane has left the runway. Major Indra who sat in the back continued to brief Azzam.

The Glider plane that has Azzam in it is getting up. After being at a certain height, there was the voice of Major Indra giving direction. Azzam removed the towing rope quickly. Now the plane he was flying began to float in the air. While the Cesna plane that pulled it directly rotated direction. Azzam's hand is now on the plane's control lever. He steers the plane according to the coach's instructions.

“EKOOOO!! WE FLY TOGETHER!!” shout Azzam. In the back, Major Indra only smiled faintly hearing Azzam's cry.

This glider has only one wheel, so balance is needed when landing. Azzam as much as possible to make a flare or transition from the approach to the landing. He was trying to slow the plane down. It is important to maintain balance. Since the Glider has only one landing gear, it should try to keep the wings from touching the ground for as long as possible.

Finally a smooth landing can be done by Azzam. The plane continued to glide, until it finally stopped perfectly. Azzam said hamdallah in his heart. The flying exercise this time was successfully done safely.

After Azzam, Zakaria and Seno flew Glider in succession, and they were also accompanied by Major Indra. A slight tension struck Zakaria as the man prepared to remove the hook.

“Stay concentration, don't be nervous. Release!”

Zakaria followed Major Indra's lead, she removed the straps, and now the plane is hovering in mid-air. Just like Azzam, the man shouted his best friend's name.

“EKOOOO…. WE FLY, KO!!”

After Zakaria, it is now Seno's turn to air. Several times the young man took a deep breath as the plane he was on started to move up. He continued to concentrate, his hands ready to be on the plane's control lever.

“Release!”

There was a voice of Major Indra giving orders. Seno quickly removed the hook. Now the plane has flown free without the help of a rope that pulled it earlier. A smile was imprinted on Seno's face. Now he has succeeded in realizing his dream and also Eko, doing fly over.

“EKOOOO…. WE'RE UPSTAIRS NOW.. WE ARE FLYING. YOU SEE EKOOOO!!”

Seno's eyes seemed to be glazed as he shouted calling his best friend's name. I hope my friend hears and sees what he is doing.
