Arriving at the safe point, the cadets continued to move. Because they are still in enemy territory, they are required to continue moving to leave the forest to avoid the pursuit of the enemy. Before moving, they first did a disguise. Fry your face, cover your backpack, hat and body with grass or plants. Then they walked into the forest.

They walked in search of the safest route to avoid the ambush of the enemy. Many of the techniques they applied during jungle survival. One of them down a steep cliff by means of repling. After walking far enough into the forest, they took a short break for prayer and also lunch. Here the trainers teach how to survive in the forest, eating anything that can be eaten to survive. The cadets must practice what has been obtained at ground school.

After performing the dzuhur prayer alternately, the trainer ordered the cadets to look for animals around the forest that could be eaten. It was assumed that their supplies were exhausted, and now they had to survive by eating anything to survive. While they were leaving the area around them to rest, Azzam and Zakaria found a snake. Azzam carefully caught the snake. He held the part near the head, pressing it hard enough, that the animal could not bite him.

Azzam stretched the animal's body several times. With the help of Zacharias, they cut off the head of the animal. All the members of his group had gathered and were ready to drink the blood of the snake according to the coach's instructions. While holding back the fishy taste, Niken swallowed the blood of the snake that entered his mouth.

After all the blood of the snake was removed and drunk by all the cadets, now they are ready to process the snake meat to be a meal. Some of Azzam's associates immediately made a bonfire, Zakaria dismembered the snake's flesh, then stabbed him. After the fire was ignited, they burned the meat and ate it.

The journey continues at night. Fearing that the enemy would ambush, they again walked through the forest with the help of a night compass. Traveling at night is more difficult than during the day. They had to avoid dangerous roads and naturally also the attacks of ferocious beasts.

Azzam stopped then used his compass to find directions. Beside him, Seno noted the extent of their movements since leaving the resting place earlier. They continued on, until they finally arrived at the designated post. There they can rest and will continue the journey when the day is light.
