Because I Don't Want to Lose

Because I Don't Want to Lose
55 - Storytelling

Randi changed his mind. He took Anaya to a restaurant at the eastern end of Jakarta. It is located on the edge of the city forest and is located on the edge of the lake. The building is dominated by wood and bamboo. He chose a saung with a rather lonely table.

Anaya did not protest at all. He just according to what Randi chose to order sea fish, vegetables, and fruit juice for Anaya.

"Say, if you are pregnant, you have to eat a lot of fish so that your child will be smart. Kayak me!" Randi handed her order notes to the smiling waiter who heard her clumsiness.

Anaya did not respond. He bounces his legs and rests his body on the wall of the saung while checking his cell phone. His message to Mr. Arsyad is still one.

"Is there a message from Izzar?" ask Randi.

Anaya.

"You guys have a problem?"

Anaya nodded.

"It has something to do with Ridwan?"

Anaya nodded.

"Izzar knows, aren't you pregnant?"

Anaya.

"Why doesn't he know?" Randi changed the type of question to an open one that demanded an explanation. It was only answered with the sign language of the head movement.

"I don't want him to know." Anaya answered without having her eyes diverted from the screen of her phone.

"Why can't he know?"

"It's not important."

"Eh! It doesn't matter how? I'm sure Izzar would be different if he knew you were pregnant! You can talk good."

"I freed him to go, and he chose to go." Anaya shrugged, with blurred eyes even though the phone was still in front of her face.

Randi reached out her hand taking Anaya's phone from her grasp and placed it on the table. Anaya looked at him sharply.

"Focus! Tell me everything from the beginning!" Randi was not joking. His words and attitude were very serious.

"Where did it start?" Anaya is stalling for time and answers.

"It's up to the point where you want the story. I'm just asking you to be honest. To be honest, I'm sorry that you started this way. Ignoring the feelings of others."

"Whose other people?"

"Izzar!"

"If so, just ask him!" Anaya is provoked to be annoyed because Randi always defends his best friend.

"I'll ask him later. Now you used to tell me what the hell was going on! If he's the jerk, I'll take care of him!" firmly Randi.

Anaya took a breath. His heart was actually ready to reveal everything. Secrets and problems. He just wants to make sure Randi doesn't side with Izzar.

Instead, Randi, who knows both his cousin and his best friend, suspects Anaya is too dramatizing the problem.

So, from Anaya's lips slid a series of stories that actually already known Randi, but not realized much was hidden from him. Explain where it all started.

Anaya paused his description when food and drink came. And continued again after the waiter finished setting the table.

The originally undulating emotions of his heart were disorderly in his soul, slowly sloping.

"So, that's the story." Anaya closes with a sip of her carrot juice.

Randi could not see him. Anaya waited for him to comment. His cousin shook his head and took a deep breath. He seemed to be straightening his reasoning in digesting the story told by Anaya.

"Where do you think? I'm not wrong, am I? It's only natural that I'm angry about being used?"

Randi blinked his eyes. He did not expect his second marriage to be sudden, done because Izzar was so desperate, and sacrifice Anaya for fear of losing Naira.

"You're both crazy!" That sentence slid the sarcasm out of Randi's mouth.

He sipped his mineral water a little before pouring rice and other food on the plate.

"Your story makes me hungry!" the cetus while putting pieces of the field sauce squid into his mouth.

Anaya for a while could only quietly pay attention.

After that, there are still a few more swearing Randi. Anaya lost her appetite. The hormone that is indeed being changed plus feelings of guilt makes the aurasana of his heart become gloomy.

He rested his body on the wall. Face grim.

Randi quickly realized that.

"Why not eat?"

"Lust no!"

"Because of my babbling?" tanyanya pira-pura.

"Yes! You're not cool. That's why I didn't want to tell you. Nyebelin. I know I'm wrong, as if I've been playing with marriage, but there's no need to judge me like that!" Anaya vented her frustration.

Randi gulped down his drink. Anaya's frowning face even seemed funny to him. Like when they fought in childhood. Because, he likes to tease Anaya to sulk or even cry.

"okay! I'm sorry for reacting like that. You see, I didn't expect you to make a deal that I thought was ridiculous." Randi held back her laughter.

Anaya. "So crazy, now silly!"

"Sorry, Nay!" Randi tried to restrain himself. "Eat first! Poor that baby!"

Randi dismembered the grilled fish and placed the boneless portion of the meat onto Anaya's plate.

"Come on, eat that fish! Good for your child's brain development!"

"Sokay know!" Anaya shifted her seat also closer to the table.

"That's it! Here's proof!" Randi pointed at his forehead. "My mom said that when I was pregnant, I really liked to eat sea fish. That's why I was born with a smart brain."

Randi's witty smile was on her lips. As he always does when he starts joking.

"Whatever you are!" Anaya dipped the fish pieces into the soy sauce sauce.

Randi watched Anaya eat. Although slowly, he was satisfied because quite a lot was also spent Anaya. I don't know why she feels responsible for keeping this cousin pregnant.

His mind was filled with a strategy to inform Izzar of this news. She would be happy to have a real child. The risk is most Anaya will rampage and curse at him.

"Nay... You don't want Izzar back?"

"I've lost my sense of belief."

Randi fell silent. It was not certain that Izzar behaved and acted as Anaya alleged. But, as long as he had not listened to the story from Izzar's point of view, he tried impartially.

Secretly, he photographed Anaya with his phone and sent it to Izzar.

Before long, he replied. Name only with one emoji thumb up only. Without another word.

"Cryman doang?!" Randi exclaims.

"What's wrong?" Anaya.

"Ngga anything. Just annoyed with Sarah, it has written a long message just answered thumbs up."

Randi. Fortunately, Anaya believed. He did not know Randi was harboring his anxiety on Izzar.

After eating, Randi finally just talked seriously about his opinion on the crisis faced by Anaya. He tried to open Anaya's heart to accept another possibility. He even offered to help bridge Anaya and Izzar's communication.

But Anaya refused.

Randi is not pushy. He will find another way and another way.

Anaya is escorted back to the apartment by Randi. He did not look at his house because he felt very tired and sleepy.

As she said goodbye, Anaya said, "don't let Izzar know I'm pregnant! If he finds out..." Anaya's index finger moved to form a horizontal line around her neck.

Randi shook his head. Not out of fear, but out of annoyance with the hardness of Anaya's heart.

On the other side of the city, in the room previously occupied by Anaya and Naira, Izzar looked again at the photo sent by Randi almost without blinking. Either his feelings alone, or indeed something seemed to change on Anaya's face. She's still pretty. However there was a different aura that was like living fluorescent in that woman. Izzar doesn't know what his name is.

He sighs. To the air, he complained about the decision he had taken.
