How'd He Get In?

After waiting for a few minutes there was an incoming call on my phone, and it was from Roman. I also lifted it up.

"I'm up front, can you open the fence?" asked Roman when I picked up the phone.

"Good." I hesitated for being a little afraid to get out of the room.

"Don't be afraid. I'm here, okay?"

"OKAY. Don't turn off the phone. Let me keep hearing your voice." I turned the door lock and pulled the knob slowly.

I walked down the hallway of the house in quick steps. The lights turned on automatically while I was in the room. With a little running I went down the stairs.

"Don't run, just walk around. Do not let you fall down from the stairs," said Roman as if he could know that I was currently going down the stairs.

"Yes, I'm downstairs. I'll open the door in a minute. I forgot where to put the fence remote," I answered while trying to find out where I last put the fence remote.

I had a chance to think, if my fence only uses a special remote, how could Mas Adam come and enter this house? Especially to get into the room and see me sleeping.

Is it possible that he entered through the back door that I haven't had time to change the key? But, all the main keys in this house have been replaced with new ones. If he only entered through the back door, he should still not be able to enter the house.

While I was busy looking around, I saw the remote fence was on top of the ornamental closet. Soon I approached and intended to take it. But, again I was surprised by the condition of the lower room which signifies as if someone had been visited.

The sofa that was neat, is now a little messy with pillows that have moved places. On the glass table there is also a glass with a can of green beer bottles.

There are cigarette ashtrays and cigarette butts smoked also in it. I can confirm it was a cigarette that was occasionally smoked by Mas Adam when he was deadlocked in thinking about his work in the office.

"Roman... He's right here!" I shouted with a trembling body and a reflexive hand pressed the open button on the remote I held.

"He's here!" I shouted suddenly and immediately sat down from my sleep.

"Qila, relax. I'm right here. You are safe, Beb." said Ayu who immediately hugged me tightly.

There was Roman standing next to the bed where I lay weakly. I don't know what happened after I shouted.

But, I know for sure I'm in Ayu's room, my best friend.

"Lad... He followed me home. He's terrorizing me! How did he get in when the security system at home was replaced with a more sophisticated one?" I was still in shock and kept asking in panic.

"Aqilais... Rest first. You're still very shocked. Don't think about it. My people have checked the security systems you installed around the house. I'll take care of this soon." Roman interrupted trying to keep me calm and sure.

I felt the earnestness of Roman's words. So that quickly my body and mind became safe and comfortable.

This friend of mine is indeed very brave and does not hesitate to face the problems that come to his clients. Moreover, I am the incidentally is his best friend.

I'm pretty sure Ayu will do everything that's best for me. Ayu stroked my hair. Calms me like a brother to a sister.

"What exactly is he trying to prove? Why is he trying to ruin my life? Didn't he get what he wanted?" I asked while staring at Roman and Ayu alternately. And the two looked silently at each other.

"Aqila darling... Don't think about it yet, yeah. Now rest. I'll accompany you here. Roman will be standing guard outside. Right, Rom?" ayu asked with a nod of his head at Roman.

"But I'm scared. He can come anytime. He was bothering me on purpose." I felt this body shiver when I said that.

The least I can trust is Mas Adam who can go in and be as relaxed as ever in my house. How exactly did he get into my house.

After Roman completely walked out of this room, I was just beginning to be able to casually close my eyes. My body is tired, hungry too.

Ayu who always knew more about how I was, immediately resigned to retreat to the kitchen. Of course I rejected it. Because I was so scared of that. However, after Ayu convinced me that there was a Roman outside I could only calm down a little. Shortly after, Ayu returned again with a delicious treat.

"Beb, let's eat first. I know you must be really hungry, right?" ayu asked by stroking my hair gently.

"You know, I wake up feeling hungry. But because of all that happened, my hunger suddenly disappeared. It was only after you brought this much food that I felt the hunger that had tormented me so much," that I replied with a slight smile on the tip of my lips.

Ayu laughed happily. Like just getting out of one load that made it hard all this time.

"Keep beautiful like this, Qila. Don't ruin your life just because of one bastard and a coward like Mas Adam!" pinta Ayu to me, as I was scooping the rice and meat soup into my mouth.

I just nodded then finished all the food on the tray. There is absolutely no shame or guarding the image.

After I finished up all the contents of the tray that Ayu brought, I tried to find my phone. And Ayu always knew what was on my mind.

"You're looking for this, aren't you?" ayu asked while showing me a pink phone.

I grabbed it and checked everything in my phone. When going to open the whatsaap application and check the message, there is nothing strange there. I'm a little relieved.

"Thank you, Beb. Because it's always there for me. Especially at times like this." I said sincerely to Ayu.

"That's it, is it necessary, hum?" ask Ayu while smiling.

"Life is funny, isn't it? The person I've always been proud of you once, now he's the one who ruined my life!"

"Your life may be ruined for now, but it's not a mess. We're gonna fix it slowly, okay?"

I nodded when I heard Ayu's words. His words really made my heart calm. Once again, I hugged Ayu with gratitude.
