CHAPTER 14 ~ Destiny Separating ~

Raffa, hearing the name called Celina's heart felt stopped working, the girl turned to the customer she was serving.

"What sight ?" jessica said cynically as Celina turned her head towards her.

Celina immediately turned her face, the girl was downcast, her body instantly trembled making her hands tremble, not expecting her to be face to face with Jessica, Raffa's wife.

The girl panicked, but tried to remain calm, arranging the dishes on the table with a sore heart, the wife of the man who had impregnated her, was in plain sight. It felt unable to be there, but the girl tried to stay strong.

"Maybe she's your admirer Jess" said the woman in front of Jessica.

Jessica immediately looked at Celina, with a look of disdain.

"A girl like this ? where is it possible ?my admirers are women from the upper class, because they are the ones who can afford the products I promote, women like this, their tastes are definitely different" said Jessica boasted.

Celina could only be patient hearing the humiliation of the woman. Although his chest feels tight but the girl still survives arranging dishes.

"Are pregnant, too ?" asked the woman who was sitting close to Celina while looking at the belly of the girl.

"Yes" Celina replied briefly, still busy arranging dishes

"How many months ?" ask the woman in front of him.

"Six months" Celina replied again.

"Six months ? same Jess, same six months, but you have bigger stomach Jess" said the woman beside Jessica while looking at alternating belly Celina and belly Jessica.

Damn, why are they comparing my pregnancy to this village woman ?

They can't be suspicious of my contents, Jessica's mind is upset.

"Okay... ouch, ah sick, very sick, sakiii.." cried Jessica fell on the floor.

Celina was shocked, Jessica fell in front of her, Jessica's friends ran over.

"Yes, my goodness Jess, why not be careful" said a friend of Jessica's.

"He's tripping my leg" Jessica pointed at Celina.

Celina frantically accused, the girl shook her head, she did not feel the humping of Jessica's legs.

"No my mistress did nothing" Celina said frantically with Jessica's accusation.

Jessica stared at Celina

"I think she's upset with me, she did this to me on purpose, ah.. ouch.... sick" cried Jessica.

"Geez Jess, your water is amniotic, you've broken Jess's membranes" said Jessica's friend frantically seeing the water running down Jessica's thighs.

"Okay... all because of you, what if my baby was born prematurely because of you, beware if something happens to my baby, I will sue you" Jessica shouted at Celina.

Seeing there was a commotion Restaurant Manager and Head of Service immediately came to see the state of Jessica.

"It should be taken to the hospital immediately, we call an ambulance" the Restaurant Manager immediately called.

"Awas you. I will definitely sue you. I am Raffa Saltano's wife, I will sue you for what you did" Jessica shouted still blaming Celina.

Celina's tears flowed, her body trembling at Jessica's threat. The restaurant was excited, all the restaurant visitors were staring at Celina. Jessica's friends screamed in panic, confused to see the fluid flowing from Jessica's thighs getting heavier.

"It's not my fault ma'am, I didn't touch her legs at all" Celina said, crying to Tiara.

Jessica was finally taken to the hospital, along the way she screamed not to accept her child was born prematurely, the woman blamed Celina for causing her to fall, the woman shouted to sue Celina.

The incident shocked all restaurant visitors, until the Restaurant Manager decided to close the restaurant temporarily.

Mrs. Rowenna walked back and forth in front of the operating room. The Cartwright family looked panicked. Operating room indicator light is still on. Signs of surgery are still going on.

After arriving at the hospital, Jessica was immediately treated by her obstetrician. The woman asked for a C-section. Although her obstetrician stated Jessica could give birth normally.

"I want to give birth by cesarean section" he said holding the doctor's hand, forcing the doctor to choose how to handle the baby by surgery.

"But the condition of the baby mistress is fine and can still be born normally" said the specialist was astonished.

"No, I don't want to, I want to be dissected, I want the doctor to say that my baby was born prematurely" Jessica said.

"But." said the doctor confused.

"Doctor please, I want this child to be declared born prematurely, I have to do that doctor, the doctor has to declare this baby born prematurely" Jessica pleaded with tears.

The doctors and nurses looked at each other, although they did not understand why the patients were behaving that way. Finally the doctor ran as Jessica wanted.

A caesarean section was performed, Miss. Rowenna and the Cartwright family came straight to the hospital as soon as they got word from Jessica's friends.

"Where have you been, mommy has called you from earlier, sent a lot of messages, only now you come" said Mrs. Rowenna was upset to see her son show up with David.

"Why should be worried has not been handled by a doctor" said Raffa calm.

"This you, at least show your sympathy to Jessica, what her parents think of seeing you as not caring for your wife" she said. Rowenna was still upset as she glanced at the Cartwright family who looked very panicked.

Raffa was silent, the man chose to sit next to his daddy.

"You know, the birth of your child is not normal, Jessica was harmed by a restaurant waiter until she had surgery, your child was born prematurely.

You want something to happen to your son, because he was born prematurely ?" said Mrs. Rowenna explained Jessica's situation

Ny's Face. Rowenna looked full of anxiety as this concerned the safety of her first grandchild.

Raffa was stunned, his mother thought that Raffa regretted his attitude. But without knowing it, Raffa just another thought.

This is Jessica's wits, making her birth premature, everyone can calculate our marriage age, only six months into marriage her son has been born, the woman made a scenario for people to think her child was born prematurely, a cunning basis, Raffa thought.

"We plan to sue the woman who harmed Jessica" she said. Rowenna with an annoyed face.

"What ?" raffa asked unsure of her mother's words.

"We'll sue her, don't you hear" she shouted. Rowenna was upset to see her son not understand.

"You find the waiter who harmed Jessica, give her some money and tell her to leave the restaurant" Raffa ordered.

"But Raff, how could you let the person who harmed your wife just walk away, instead of compensating everything, your family just wants to sue him "ask David wonder.

"The waiter was just a victim, Jessica was deliberately looking for a scapegoat as if her child was born prematurely"

David displaying a confused face, Raffa sighed the man was forced to tell David everything.

"Jessica's baby is not premature, Jessica's gestational age is enough to be born, it's time the baby was born" Raffa explained.

"Jessica was three months pregnant when she married me, she just wanted to breathe the news that her child was born prematurely because of our marriage age" Raffa said.

"True, you were married just six months ago" said David began to understand.

"But your family, will sue the servant, how can you contradict your family by helping the servant" asked David puzzled.

"To be precise, I don't care if Jessica uses me to cover up her disgrace. But slandering people and sacrificing the lives of others, I don't agree" Raffa said.

"Alright I understand, I'm going to meet the waiter and compensate him and tell him to leave before they sue him" David's plan.

"Thank you for your help" Raffa said, thanking his best friend for helping him in every way.

David went to take care of Raffa's request. While Raffa returned to the operating waiting room, his heart felt unhinged. Jessica soon gives birth and their agreement is about to end, but she still has not found Celina, her heart is restless.

Celina come back to me, let me find you, inner Raffa.

Meanwhile, at the restaurant Celina cried sobbing trying to explain the real incident. The entire employee's eyes were fixed on him, all feeling filled to see Celina's fate.

"We don't believe in you, I believe in you, we all believe in you, you're not someone who can hurt anyone.

But this is the best way, son, you have to get out of here before they come to catch you" Tiara said, asking Celina to leave the restaurant immediately.

"They're influential people, if they say you're guilty no matter what you deny, they'll sue you anyway, people like them won't lose to little people like us" said Mr. Adi, Restaurant Manager.

"But I still want to work here sir" Celina sobbed.

"If you stay here they can catch you Celina, you can give birth to your baby in jail son" said Tiara ma'am in tears.

Everyone advised Celina to leave the restaurant immediately, solely because she did not want Celina to be arrested by the authorities for committing criminal acts that endanger the lives or health of others.

Celina cried, the girl did not want to leave the restaurant. That place has given him the opportunity to work, Celina also loves the employees there. And they love Celina very much. It was very hard for Celina to leave that restaurant.

"This, your salary this month, we paid in full, so that you have savings during hiding" said Ms. Tiara.

Mr. Adi nodded.

"We pray that the baby will be born safely, hopefully they will want to drop his demands" said Mr. Adi.

Celina took the envelope containing her salary with a heavy heart. Yani gave Celina a packet of food.

Celina received the package sobbing.

Yani immediately hugged Bu Tiara unable to watch Celina who was crying so sad. Celina stepped out of the restaurant, accompanied by sad gazes from all the employees.

All bowed down dumbstruck, it was heartless to tell Celina to leave. The girl has been a part of them since she was accepted to work there, the girl never complained, and always worked wholeheartedly.

The girl is ready to help anyone who needs her help. And moreover, her pregnant condition made the people in the restaurant feel concerned about her fate.

"Come here if things have improved" said Mr. Adi.

Celina turned her head, with tears still flowing the girl nodded slowly staring at the employees one by one, then stepped away from the restaurant.

The restaurant employees who were still down, simultaneously raised their faces when they realized someone had entered the restaurant, before Celina left.

"Sorry sir, today we are closed" said Mr. Adi who was not ready to receive restaurant guests.

"I'm David, Personal Assistant Mr. Raffa Saltano" David said.

With doubt Mr. Adi received David's handshake.

"What is the need, sir David came here ?" ask Adi politely.

"I want to find a waitress who is in trouble with the Saltano family, can I meet her ?" david said directly.

"If I may know what you're looking for ?" back Adi asked.

"Mr Raffa sent me to ask the servant to dodge for a while, Mr. Raffa will compensate him for this order" David explained.

"Surprisingly, the Saltano family will sue him, why did Mr. Raffa just ask him to run and even provide compensation" asked a restaurant employee who was impatient to hear David's explanation.

"Because basically Mr. Raffa does not agree if his family sues the servant, Mr. Raffa does not want this matter to continue" David explained.

"It doesn't seem to believe that Mr. Raffa thinks like that, very contrary to the attitude of his wife" said another employee.

"This is proof sir" David said as he placed a thick envelope filled with money at the restaurant table.

"But unfortunately, the waiter was gone, after the incident he resigned" said Mr. Adi regretted.

"It's a pity that Mr. Raffa really wanted to help, then if you'll excuse me sir, I'll report this to Mr. Raffa" David said immediately left.

A male waiter ran out of the restaurant.

"Where's Dit ? ask Mr. Adi.

"You're looking for Celina, where you know it's still around here" he said, disappearing right behind the door.

David surprised.

"If you can find out what the name of the waiter is ?" david asked again.

"Celina" Yani replied quickly.

"Can I see the picture ?" ask David.

"We don't have his picture, he's only been working here for two months" another waiter said.

"Wait a minute sir, don't we have a cover letter sir ?" said bu Tiara.

Adi immediately went to his office and found Celina's job application letter. Although it was surprising to see Celina's photo but finally Pak Adi handed the job application letter to David.

David returns to the hospital where Raffa awaits the birth of Jessica's baby. Raffa was astonished to see David's demeanor looking gloomy, immediately the man asked him.

"You've asked him to go and hand over the compensation" Raffa asked.

David shakes.

"He's gone" David said later.

"Then it's good, it's what we want, hopefully they don't find it" Raffa replied.

David handed over the job application letter he brought to Raffa. To Raffa's astonishment, he received the job application envelope.

"He's the one" said David slowly.

Raffa was astonished as to why he knew it but once the man finally opened the envelope and saw the photo tucked there. Raffa covered his flabbergasted mouth, his eyes glazed over, the man shook his head.

Raffa could not help himself, the man sobbed.

"Me and the restaurant staff tried to catch up to him, but he was gone" David said, looking down.

Why, why is it so hard to find you ? why does destiny keep us away ?

Raffa was crying.
