CHAPTER 74 ~ Survive Again ~

Celina was treated by a C-section surgeon for 50 minutes. Marked by the death of the operating room indicator light, the duties of the doctor and the medical team in the room have been completed. The result they have to deliver.

"We are worried that if the baby is not breathing for too long, the baby can experience cerebral hypoxia, also called lack of oxygen supply to the brain. If the oxygen supply is cut off for 5 minutes or more it can make brain cells die, chances are the baby will have a brain injury" explains the doctor with concerned face.

"What will happen to the doctor, if the situation is like that what will happen?" raffa asked with a face that came back panicked.

"We still have to observe the development of the baby, it may have to involve pediatricians and neurologists or neurologists" the doctor explained.

"Neurogligist?" ask Kevin.

"Yes, Neurolgis is a specialist who used to diagnose and treat problems related to the brain and nervous system" the doctor said.

"Why is that a doctor? why involve a neurologist?" ask Kevin.

"What about the doctor's physique is it okay?" ask Raffa.

"Physically normal and healthy just now it is still weak" said the doctor explained.

The doctor's smile was a relief to their hearts, there was still good news they received. Keira rushed to find a baby care room. Despite only being able to see from the big glass, the girl was grateful when a nurse pointed to the red baby still in the incubator as Celina's baby.

Keira laughed while shedding tears, excited to see when there was movement from the tiny baby.

Celina quickly wake up, get healthy, look at your baby, very beautiful. I was anxious to bite him, quickly wake up we take care of your baby together, screamed Keira.

Laugh when you see the baby's hands moving. Raffa and Kevin were standing next to Keira. The girl immediately pointed at the baby, Raffa looked at the baby with a smile, in her heart whatever she would do for the good of her little daughter.

"really? is that good? why isn't he sleeping?" tanya Raffa.

"When can we see Celina?" ask Keira to Raffa.

"What are you doing here? satisfied to see your results?" keira said as soon as she got near Marissa.

"Darling, don't be. I think he's sorry now" Kevin whispered a little.

"After what he did to you, do you still hate him? does he still have bad intentions for her?" ask Raffa to Marissa.

"I'm not a good person but I'm not that bad either. She saved me without thinking about the safety of herself and the baby. I wouldn't be here if he didn't help me. I saw for myself he was in pain while defending me. He would've given up if not for my help. How could I repay her kindness with bad intentions to her. Raffa, you got the best woman, I've never found anyone like her" Marissa said in tears.

Raffa smiled then bowed, his tears dripping.

"Celina was never willing to leave people even if it was a danger to herself" Raffa replied back to the memory of Celina who did not want to leave Raffa while fighting against the delinquents who disturbed the girl.

Suddenly Raffa's phone shook, Raffa stared at the phone screen. The name of his mother's contact appears there, immediately Raffa received the phone call.

"Where the hell are you all missing?" ask Rowenna.

"Celina has given birth to a mommy" Raffa replied.

"A.what? giving birth? why not tell mommy? why mommy just sitting here should mommy accompany him" said Rowenna regretted because Raffa did not immediately tell him.

"Sorry mommy, it's because we all panicked, I forgot to tell mommy" Raffa said, holding back his tears.

"Well then give her your phone, mommy wants to talk to her" Rowenna said, wishing to congratulate her on the birth.

"But can not mommy, Celina is still unconscious" said Raffa no longer able to hold back his tears.

"What's? she's she? why could it be like that? what's going on?" said Rowenna.

No longer hearing Raffa's answer, his arms loose over his lap not strong enough to just lift his phone.

"What's the matter, baby?" ask Robby.

"Celina, she has given birth but is currently unconscious" Rowenna said in tears.

"Let's look at Celina, don't cry here baby" Robby said as she pulled her wife out of Alyssa's wedding ballroom.

Mrs. Rowenna cried as she looked at the weakly lying Celina unconscious. Mrs. Rowenna asked what had happened, but no one there was willing to explain it until Marissa finally appeared to give an explanation of the events that befell Celina and herself.

Mrs. Rowenna was flabbergasted to hear Marissa's story, if not remembered at the hospital the mistress must have been berating the woman. But, because Marissa cried and regretted her actions. Rowenna eventually refrained from suing Marissa.

"Pray'alah that he is well, pray'that he will wake up soon, healthy and safe, because otherwise I will sue you. I will send you to prison, understand you" cried Rowenna still trying to contain herself.

Marissa bowed to hear the threat of Ms. Rowenna's. The ferocious nature of the great mistress was again visible. However, it was all due to his affection for that one-of-a-kind son-in-law.

"Dear, calm down, he has regretted his mistake" Robby persuaded, taking his wife to a waiting chair.

Ozora nodded then looked back at her sister, once in a while the boy smiled sweetly

Keira looked sadly at the child, and her mother is still struggling to keep her life. His sister still needs supervision. Keira hugged Ozora, the boy returned his embrace.

"Auntie don't be sad, mama and adek will be fine" said Ozora still hugging Keira.

Keira nodded, and they returned to the waiting room of the intensive care patient. Ozora stood in front of the room's glass. Shortly afterwards the boy smiled as he waved his hand.

Keira stared into Ozora's eyes, looking at Celina waving with a smile. Although the wave of his hand was weak but it was clear that Celina had regained consciousness. Keira was stunned and immediately stood up.

"Celina has regained consciousness" Keira shouted as she pointed into the room.

Everyone who was waiting there turned their heads towards Celina. Raffa gave thanks and stood in front of the glass while holding Ozora. They waved at the loved one. Celina smiled back while shedding tears, looking longingly at those who stood behind the glass.

Kevin immediately informed the paramedics of Celina's conscious condition. The paramedics ran straight to Celina's intensive room, they immediately performed a physical examination of vital signs which were the most basic measurement of bodily functions.

They examined four major vital signs that include body temperature, pulse, respiratory rate, and blood pressure.

All gathered gazing in front of the glass barrier, Mrs. Rowenna couldn't wait to see Celina. The mother-in-law directly waved her hand at the girl, Celina smiled.

Medics told the patient's family that Celina's condition had stabilized, just undergoing the healing period Celina was asked to reduce activity so that her surgical scars would heal immediately.

"The patient's condition has stabilized, this afternoon the patient can be transferred to the hospital room" said the examining doctor.

All were grateful to hear the doctor's explanation, before long Celina was moved to the hospital room. Celina touched her stomach, the girl just remembered that she was pregnant, Celina's face immediately panicked.

Celina did not see a single baby in the room. Celina wanted to sit down to make sure.

"What are you doing? why sit? you can't move yet" Raffa said, blocking his wife from sitting down.

"Sister, my baby.., where's my baby?" ask Celina in panic.

"Don't worry she's in a special nursery" Raffa said.

"really? she's okay, right?" tanya Celina was still worried.

"Yes, he's fine, but..," Raffa's speech came to a halt.

"Why brother, did something bad happen?" tanya Celina started crying.

"Don't cry baby, don't worry, nothing happens" Raffa said.

Everyone heard the talk of Raffa and Celina, the others also wanted to know what happened especially Ny. Rowenna's.

"What's Raffa, what's wrong with my granddaughter?" ask Rowenna.

"So when the doctor performed a C-section, the baby was not breathing" Raffa said.

"What..!!!" screams everyone who heard Raffa's explanation.

"But the paramedics managed to make the baby breathe again just had to be monitored to see the impact of stopping the baby's breath is likely to have a brain injury" said Raffa.

Mrs. Rowenna immediately fainted hearing that, the madam could not hear that horrible-sounding story. In contrast to Celina, the girl was stunned considering Raffa's remarks which were similar to the explanation of the acquaintance that a neurologist used to be.

"Is the baby okay, sister?" ask Celina after confirming Ms. Rowenna has been treated by medical personnel.

"Yes dear, physically the condition of the baby is healthy and normal" said Raffa.

"Pity mommy, hearing this mommy so fainted" said Celina.

"Mommy was shocked but she was fine" said Raffa, who had just seen her mother's condition.

"Is there any explanation from the neurologist?" ask Celina.

"Where do you know that baby should be treated by a neurologist?" ask Raffa.

"It's okay, brother, only a specialist who diagnoses problems related to the brain and nervous system is a neurologist right?" ask Celina.

"True, why do you know about that?" ask Raffa.

"I used to have an acquaintance with a Neurologist" Celina explained.

"Your boyfriend?" goda Raffa's.

Celina laughed even though after that she grimaced with the pain. Raffa regrets making his wife laugh. Marissa came closer, the woman who had just been silent had finally wanted to reveal her heart to Celina.

"Celina, I'm sorry. I am truly sorry for what I did. I hope your baby is okay" said Marissa, crying her head down.

Celina grabs Marissa's hand, the woman is surprised to see Celina's response that looks not to hate her.

"I'm sorry, I hope we can forget the past and start a better life" Celina said.

Marissa nodded while crying.

"Thank you for not giving up on me even if you feel pain" Marissa said.

"Don't think it's our duty to help each other" Celina said.

Marissa's cry grew increasingly to hear Celina's magnanimity. While Celina was astonished to see Marissa's response.

"Celina can I hold you?" ask Marissa.

Celina nodded, immediately Marissa hugged the girl. Still crying moved because he did not expect the person he wanted to harm was the one who saved him. After being satisfied to hug Celina, Marissa took off her embrace and turned to Raffa.

"Your wife deserves to be defended, no one is as good as her. You're lucky Raffa could marry Celina. I pray that you will be happy forever" said Marissa.

Raffa nodded and Celina smiled in gratitude for Marissa's do'a. Shortly after Marissa came home, Keira invited Kevin and Ozora back to see the baby. Ozora agrees but Kevin looks reluctant. Keira immediately pulled the hand of her husband and gave the code to let Celina and Raffa alone in the room.

Raffa immediately fused his lips with his wife's lips. Celina hugged her husband tightly and returned the man's warm kiss.

"Thank you for holding out for us, thank you for giving birth to such a beautiful baby girl, thank you for forgiving me" Raffa said.

"What does it mean to forgive my brother?" ask Celina.

"Because you're not angry with me when you've been harmed by a friend from my past" Raffa said somewhat hesitantly.

"Friends? I know how far along your relationship is. I don't think it's just a friend, brother lied to me. I hate it" Celina said, turning her back in the other direction.

"Honey, listen to my explanation" said Raffa.

Celina was silent even covering her ears.
