CHAPTER 48 ~ Love That Hasn't Ended ~

Celina steps out of the jewelry store, following the other couple. Celina called out to Jessica, she turned her head, looking at who was calling her name.

They argue, Celina wants Jessica to get back on the right track. The girl who was now living life as a mistress was against Celina's desire to help her.

For the sake of Tita, for the sake of the little girl who now lives with her, Celina would not sue for what Jessica had done to her. But Jessica is not Jessica if she is what Celina wants.

The girl abstained from following the will of the person let alone that person was her enemy. Jessica wants Celina to regret seeing her life now changed since separating from Raffa.

Jessica chose to go with the man she now depends on, despite Celina's ban, despite Celina's advice. Jessica still chose to be the mistress of the fat old man.

Celina wanted to chase but suddenly a car stopped in front of them. Celina was surprised to stop her steps, seen from the car emanating a kind of liquid that directly hit Jessica. The girl screamed in pain, Celina immediately ran up to him.

Celina looked at the reddened skin that blistered around her left cheek to her shoulders and hands. Celina immediately took the mineral water she always carried. "What are you doing" Jessica said encouraging Celina.

Celina resigned.

"Sir, please take Jessica to the hospital immediately" Celina told the elderly man who could only be confused.

"PAK, please take Jessica to the hospital immediately" Celina repeated in a louder voice.

The man realized that he immediately invited Jessica into his car. Celina immediately followed him, using a taxi. They arrive at the hospital, Celina immediately calls Raffa and Kevin, telling about the incident experienced by Jessica.

Jessica was treated by paramedics.

"Miss's injuries are the result of being exposed to chemicals or commonly known as hard water. This can cause severe damage to the structure of the skin tissue.

Burns can cause the skin to melt.

Luckily it does not affect other organs such as the eyes, ears and nose.

Miss is still lucky enough to get immediate first aid such as washing wounds with water" explained the doctor.

Jessica nodded,

"Can the doctor be healed ?" jessica asked, crying.

"Of course, but damaged skin tissue can not return to how it was. This melted skin tissue will heal but will leave marks" explained the doctor who was also heard by Celina from behind the curtain.

The girl covered her mouth with both hands when she heard the doctor's explanation. Celina could not accept that fact any more Jessica. Not long after that Raffa came followed by Kevin.

" What happened ? How's it going ?" raffa and Kevin asked as soon as they reached the hospital and went to see Celina.

Celina recounted the incident in front of the jewelry store until when she heard the explanation from the doctor. Raffa and Kevin were stunned, nor could they imagine how devastated Jessica would be to hear the doctor's explanation of her injuries.

Raffa and Kevin take Celina to see Jessica but Celina is reluctant, she knows Jessica doesn't want to meet her. Eventually the two men met Jessica, and the woman cried.

"Calm Jessica, we will try to heal you as much as possible" said Kevin.

"I'm going to see a doctor, I'm going to ask him, what the maximum effort we can do to treat your wounds" Raffa said, then left, went to see Celina and took her to see a doctor.

The man walked while holding his wife's hand. All sorts of questions raged in their minds.

"I'm sorry about what happened to Jessica. I should have been able to stop him" Celina said in a hoarse voice.

Raffa turned to his wife, the man already understood the character of his wife. He will always feel sorry.

"It's not your fault dear" said Raffa calming his wife's feelings.

Raffa and Celina listened carefully to the doctor's explanation.

"What do we do to treat such a condition, doctor ?" ask Raffa.

"When a person's face is exposed to hard water, then the only way that can be taken is to do plastic surgery" said the doctor.

"Through plastic surgery, the face that was permanently deformed will be back in time but there are several procedures that must be considered if you want to do plastic surgery" continued the doctor.

The expressions of Raffa and Celina look relieved, it turns out there is still a way out to overcome the problems experienced by Jessica.

The doctor suggested that Raffa and Celina go to the plastic and construction surgeon. They went to the recommended doctor, and then the doctor checked Jessica's condition.

"Chemical substances such as hard water are very bad, the damage is very great because it can damage the entire depth of the skin," explained the doctor

"Plastic surgery is an act of repair and reconstruction of defects in the face and body that can be done on burn patients" explained the doctor again.

Furthermore, he said that burns caused by hard water in general within minutes are held in the skin, not only damaging the skin, but also melting the bones. It was already in the worst condition but after a quick check on Jessica, what she experienced was not that deep thanks to first aid obtained moments after being hit by the hard water.

"The removal of dead skin tissue takes about seven days. After that, the healing of the skin. It can be done by covering the wound with skin from another part of the body," continued the doctor.

Celina and Raffa looked at each other in gratitude, the doctor gave a very clear explanation. They just need to follow directions and hope that Jessica is willing and obedient to undergo treatment.

Raffa clasped his wife's hand while driving, occasionally the man turned his head and smiled at his wife. Looking at Celina who was just looking out through the glass window of the car.

Raffa admires Celina's kindness, after what Jessica did to her. The girl still bothered to help him, despite the harsh rejection from Jessica.

Raffa kissed Celina's lips as they stood together in their room. Celina just stared in surprise at Raffa's treatment.

"Are you an angel disguised as a human ?" raffa asked with a smile.

"No way, I often make mistakes and often hurt people. How could an angel possibly do such a thing" Celina replied.

Raffa laughed, what Celina said had been expected. The girl must always feel guilty, always feel wrong.

"Your only fault is if you betray me" Raffa said.

"If that's what will you do, expel me or forgive me ?" ask Celina.

"I won't kick you out, but I will punish you" Raffa said.

"What is the law like ?" ask Celina again.

"I haven't thought about what the law is. Why ? you intend to betray me ?" ask Raffa.

Celina laughs.

"According to brother I can be like that ?" ask Celina.

Celina smiled and then nodded, Raffa is dumbstruck, Celina innocently approves her overconfident remark. Though the man thought Celina would laugh at her over-confidence.

Celina really thinks Raffa is the best. Celina's innocence made the man anxious, the man who had been hugging his wife could not bear to immediately immerse his lips in Celina's lips.

Enjoying the sweetness of those soft lips, Celina wrapped her hands around her husband's back. Give each other a gentle treatment, without the breath that hunts, slowly and pervades.

The next morning, at breakfast, Raffa told her about the incident with her parents. Mrs. Rowenna disagrees with Raffa's actions to help Jessica undergo treatment.

"You didn't take Raffa from her, they didn't get along since the beginning of their marriage" Rowenna said.

"But Jessica still feels like it's mommy" Celina said.

"You're worried about such selfish people thinking ?" ask Rowenna.

"Ah come" continued Rowenna suddenly realized she was selfish as Jessica.

Their nature is the same, do not want to lose, do not want to be blamed and do not want to admit wrong.

Raffa clasped Celina's hand, the man smiled. Then it was announced that Celina had been promoted to Manager of the store.

"really ? you became the manager at the store ? not at the branch shop ? " ask Mr. Robbie.

Celina nodded.

"Then you're a General Manager, not a Sub Branch Manager ?" ask Tn. Robbie.

Celina nodded back with a smile, the girl was embarrassed master Robby was discussing her current career too much. And I saw that it was incredible news.

"You're as level as CEO Celina" said Mr. Robby again.

Celina was getting embarrassed, the girl smiled while looking down. Raffa laughed, proud of his wife. Celina pioneered a career completely from the ground up, in contrast to the CEOs who were just heirs to the family company. Positions that are not achieved by effort but are submitted due to heredity.

"No, a company would not survive if it carelessly gave up leadership just because of heredity. Of course, the company is entrusted to them because they have the ability to manage it" Celina said defending her husband who became CEO because the company was inherited from him.

They all laughed hearing Celina's defense for her husband.

"I'm pretty much Dad's General Manager, the CEO's call is too much for me" Celina continued, making everyone laugh again.

Talking together, laughing together makes the atmosphere of the house cheerful. Mrs. Rowenna had never felt such an atmosphere again since her son grew up and became the head of the family company.

Mrs. Rowenna recalled the familiarity of their family and Kevin's family. Raffa announces Kevin and Keira's engagement. And told his mother's father that Raffa was in charge of their wedding.

Mrs. Rowenna welcomed Raffa's goodwill, however the mistress was very grateful to Kevin's kindness and sincerity.

"Tomorrow I will go to Alyssa's house to get my car and my things, sister" Celina said as they were in the room.

"You're gonna see your old boyfriend again ?" ask Raffa.

Celina immediately pouted, Raffa pinched his wife's cheek.

"Alright, but be careful not to let old love bloom again" Raffa said with a laugh.

Celina retorted pinching her husband's waist. Raffa Keelian the only thing that can stop the action of Celina is just to immediately embrace her.

That afternoon Celina arrived at Alyssa's house, again meeting her long-missed best friend. A little awkward but they immediately acted ordinary.

Alyssa hugged Celina, they shed tears. After Alyssa was cold to him, Celina did not dare to approach her best friend. They talked about everything, about all the events that happened to Celina on the day of her marriage with Kevin to the hard watering incident experienced by Jessica.

Alyssa listened carefully, not expecting Celina to experience so many traumatic events. It was not until dusk that Celina went home, after packing her things that the girl immediately intended to go home.

But when Celina put her things in the car, Kevin came. The man just came home from the office. Very surprised when he saw Celina coming. Alyssa let her sister talk to Celina.

Kevin looked at Celina.

"We're okay ? are you happy ?" ask Kevin.

Both questions were answered with a single nod by Celina. Suddenly Kevin hugged Celina, the very thing he had wanted to do since. Celina was shocked but did not dare to refuse Kevin.

"I miss you Celina" whispered Kevin softly.

"Sister, I miss you too. So much for my brother and Alyssa. I can't pay back everything but I will always pray for the happiness of my brother and Alyssa" said Kevin.

"Can I possibly be happy Celina ?" ask Kevin.

"So sure you can, Keira is a good and beautiful girl" Celina said.

"I love it but I still love you Celina" Kevin said.

"Maybe it will take some time, brother, but I'm sure you can love Keira" said Celina, who is still in Kevin's arms.

Celina tried to let go of the man's embrace, but Kevin still firmly embraced her. Celina started to worry that she did not want anyone to misunderstand them.

Suddenly Kevin cupped Celina's face and buried her lips into the girl's lips, Celina was startled trying to break away but Kevin firmly embraced her.

Keira who came to visit Kevin, got the treat of the friendly scene, her heart was sliced. Keira understands Kevin's unfinished love for Celina. But the girl did not expect that Celina still harbors a taste for Kevin after marrying Raffa.

Either get a whisper from where Keira took their photo and send it to Raffa. A moment later Keira became aware of his actions. Immediately delete the photo that was sent. That girl doesn't want to win Kevin's heart that way.

Kevin felt sorry for what he was doing.

"I'm sorry Celina, I'm really happy" said Kevin regretting.

Celina immediately asked for permission to go home. His feelings were not calm, what Kevin did was quite unexpected.

Meanwhile, Raffa looked at the photo with a broken heart. Time and place coinciding with the present moment. When Celina asks permission to go to Alyssa's house to pick up her car and belongings.
