✧Ke In Blanket Light✧
Matthias had made the wrong decision by turning around.
He planned to stay in the pavilion before dinner time to finish his pile of work. Come to think of it, nothing has changed in his plans. At least until he left the pavilion.
Things went awry after he turned his body to look back and found himself standing on the road leading to the gardener's lodge.
Matthias stopped, stopping his steps with a pensive expression on his face.
The days have gone as they should. Everything is going well and in order.
Her tears that night had washed and washed away all traces of her foreign feelings.
Matthias expanded his steps and walked through the path in the shady forest. He pulled out his tie and loosened it, then unbuttoned some of his tight shirt. His movements were a little more violent, and he was not as calm as usual.
That's sickening.
He hates emotions that are out of his way.
It was annoying for him to be plagued by feelings he could not control.
Mathias wants everything in his world to be in its place. So does his own feeling. That was why he had never been enamored of a creature named woman.
In its orbit, the lust will**** is just an instinct. He never thought about it or was affected by it.
Rather, it is impractical— nothing more than a need that must be adequately met and dried. Such a desire, at first, did not occupy his mind.
Such was the annoyance and discomfort he felt as Leyla grew bigger and wreaked havoc on his stable world.
Only he could now be in his world.
His entire five senses were fixed on the woman and a blinding passion was stirring deep within him uncontrollably. Often his voracious desires and lustful thoughts of having her become too much for him to handle.
Matthias was not happy when he found out that he was obsessed with such trifles. He couldn't even put it on his priority list.
Leyla Lewellin is a dud who belongs in that league.
Even so, he needed to make sure of it.
The long line of forest trees gradually faded away as the cottage buildings grew closer.
Pondering, Matthias walked towards the blanket of light. The carefree summer sunlight began to fall, piercing through his eyes through the twigs.
Leyla found a baby bird lying on the ground.
He was on his way home after driving Kyle away when he suddenly heard a helpless scream.
Leyla saw a baby bird fall under a tree in the backyard. A small, fragile young bird that has just had its feathers begins to grow.
“Oh, did you fall?”
Leyla wrapped the baby bird in a careful touch and raised her eyes, staring at the tree.
Just as he expected, there was a bird nest located on one of the tree branches. The tree was towering quite high, but thankfully the baby bird was not seriously injured.
"It's okay. I'll take you home.”
Leyla stroked the baby bird gently and put it in her apron pocket. He rushed back to the cottage to retrieve the stairs that were stored in the warehouse.
He safely leaned the stairs against the tree and started climbing.
His nest was located between the branches higher than the stairs, so he had no choice but to climb further.
Climbing that high is usually not a problem for him. But with the baby bird in her pocket, Leyla became more careful in moving and could not be agile as usual.
After climbing the branch closest to the bird's nest, Leyla grabbed the branch with one hand and put the other hand into her pocket.
He painstakingly stretched his hands as far as he could and safely returned the baby bird to its nest.
It was a pity, as he heaved a sigh of relief, his legs suddenly slipped off, and he lost his grip on the branch.
The world turned upside down in a matter of seconds as his body bounced and lost balance. He managed to grab the end of the branch and held it tightly, but the ladder fell to the ground. Unfortunately, the branch that was too weak to support his weight, started to emit crackling sounds.
“Uncle! Uncle Billll!”
The frightened Leyla reflexively shouted loudly. But his screams are responded to by silence as he realizes Uncle Bill is not home.
“Kyleee!”
Although she knew Kyle had gone too far and was unable to hear her, Leyla kept crying and called out to him. Kyle was his only hope when Uncle Bill wasn't here. Because only they will come to help him when he is in trouble.
“Leyla.”
Suddenly, a familiar voice appeared out of nowhere.
The soft voice called his name softly as if it was singing a song.
His mind paled with fear, but Leyla could still recognize the owner of the voice. He lowered his frightened gaze, and someone he knew was standing right below him.
Duke Herhardt.
Uninterrupted – his eyes stared at the fallen stairs and calmly watched him hanging on the half-broken branch of the tree.
He laughed, asking her.
“Should I save you?”
'That madman, why is he...?'
"Not needed!"
Even amidst her fears, Leyla resolutely rejected her offer of help. He held on to the branch of the tree even though he knew his efforts were fruitless.
The branch began to tremble even harder, showing how rickety the branch was as the cracks grew deeper and deeper.
“Kyle! Kyleeee!”
His cries mixed with fear, calling for Kyle to echo in the Arvis forest.
Matthias giggled as he peeked. He turned around to look at the path the young man had walked.
“He won't come.”
He said and casually folded his hands.
'No matter how heartless he was, didn't he feel a little worried when he saw people in danger?'
Leyla immediately understood the shocking fact about the person standing before her. He was Duke of Herhardt. That crazy duke would not be able to have such a reasonable mind like a normal person.
"Go!"
She snapped at him in annoyance and chased him away.
“If you don't want to help, go! Why are you still standing there!”
“It looks like you will fall, I will call someone to save you.”
"What did you say?"
“I'm not a heartless person, Leyla.” Matthias' lips form a sleepy grin. “I'll call Mr. Etman, whom you call in desperation.”
'Stupid base.'
His voice was no longer audible as the sound of his breathless breathing had drowned him.
“Alright, let me see, what should I do? Looking at his height, I think it's better to call Dr. Etman only.”
'Damn it.'
Leyla felt she had every reason to strike him down with the most cruel curse, if only her current position did not prevent her from doing so.

“..... Sa, save me!”
Leyla wailed in despair.
That was all he thought about before his fear forced him to give up his principles.
"Are you sure?"
Matthias asked, casually taking off his coat.
“Then, call me.”
"What?"
"Call me."
He took a few steps closer to the tree before stopping and looking at it longingly.
As if he was waiting.
Waiting for the moment of his downfall if his request is not met. The frightened Leyla knew that she was a man capable of doing the deed.
“Duke, please!”
Leyla begged him with teary eyes and his voice sobbed.
“Dukeee!”
His plea grew even more desperate as the moment of his downfall drew near.
After he called out to her for the umpteenth time, the branch finally broke.
He crashed.
Leyla's mind went blank. His vision became blurred as his body floated down from the tree.
Then he came.
Matthias ran with all his might towards the tree and hugged it tightly. Their bodies hit the ground but Matthias refused to let go, and continued to hug her with all his might.
The dirt and dust covering those who collided on the ground gradually disappeared. Leyla's head buzzed, but slowly her consciousness returned.
Gentler.
It felt soft and unusually comfortable even though he fell from a high place.
Leyla opened her eyes. The warmth he felt belonged to a man, whom he subconsciously hugged tightly.
Duke Herhardt lay down below him. And she was enveloped safely and healthily in his arms.
He could feel the sound of his heartbeat being transmitted to his chest that was touching each other tightly.
His arm muscles that encircled his waist and the back of his head were burly, extremely strong.
As he slowly raised his head, a faint scent of mint water could be smelled from his nape. Her skin was smooth and warm, and was enveloped in a fragrant fragrance.
The heat that originally came from his cheeks, quickly spread throughout his body in a short period of time.
This made Leyla shudder in shock as her body began to heat up. He struggled with all his might to escape from it.
Ignoring shame when their bodies are tightly intertwined. He's too big and he's too big. Matthias' bondage grew stronger as he attempted to secede.
“Sst..Just shut up.”
Matthias ordered it while sighing softly. But Leyla's resistance grew more intense.
'NO.'
She's fed up. Blood boils.
'Basic asshole. I don't want to.'
Leyla tried to scream, but she did not manage to let out a word.
Matthias's suffocating embrace that trapped him, became increasingly hot. His head and waist that were hugging him grew stronger. All those strange but unfamiliar sensations frightened her even more and Leyla could not bear it anymore.
He was very frightened and tried desperately to break away. But the more he wanted to fight, the more he felt helpless. Whatever he did, Leyla could not escape from him.
As his delusion soon blends in with his worst fears, he blindly bites the duke's ears.
“Akh!”
Matthias grimaced in pain and directly pushed him backwards. He was stunned, but soon, his mouth shriveled in amusement.
Matthias found it funny to see him trembling so violently when he was the one who attacked him viciously.
Leyla's bright green eyes stared intently at him, acting as if she wanted to tear him apart. Matthias stopped laughing.
“Be a woman, Leyla.”
Matthias gently stroked her bitten ear— immediately grabbed Leyla's hair without batting an eye.
Without reflex, he was pushed to the ground. Matthias' face looked over it, staring intently at him with narrowed eyes.
“So this is the reward I got after saving your life? Don't you think it's too inappropriate for a woman?”
“Why should I be graceful when you are not a real man?”
Leyla turned her face to the side. The embarrassment made her cheeks flushed red as she tried to push her body once more. But Matthias had grabbed his chin with his hot hand and dragged his face to his face.
“Didn't your mouth just say that I am a real man?”
"… … NO! I spoke wrong!”
"Are you?"
“A gentleman, yes. That's bullshit. If you are a real man….B-How can you do..ini?”
Leyla stuttered with a face that was about to cry and tried to escape from it.
Matias's eyes narrowed. A small wrinkle formed between her eyebrows as she watched Leyla rub her lips as if her lips had been tainted by something dirty.
“Please move.”
Leyla glared at him with a sullen expression attacking her face.
“Something like this, i....Argh!”.
A shrill scream came out, letting the last syllable hang in the air. Matthias lowered his head and bit his ear.
It all happened in an instant, almost unexpectedly.
With an unrelenting thud, Matthias slammed him into the earth. He clutched his clawed little hand, blocked his movement, and pickled his ears.
“Ackhhh!”
His screaming breath came to a halt as Matthias began to suck and bite his lobe.
Matthias had originally planned to pay back what he had given her, but he changed his mind and pushed her with a powerful force.
Leyla groaned and twisted her body as she bit her wet earlobe hard. The sound of sobs and gasps felt damp and like an oven. Matthias pressed down on his trembling limbs and marked his teeth marks all over his reddish ears.
A satisfied smile fell on his face after he saw Leyla's messy face.
His plain eyes were wet, swollen from tears. His slightly opened lips, which were even darker than its worn color, breathed in a rushing air.
Matthias tightly grasped his tightly knit fingers and sensually devoured his moist lips.
Surprised by the man's sudden kiss, Leyla clenched her lips tightly, but Matthias easily launched his resistance.
This scorching summer is coming to an end.
Matthias perfectly understood the picture. Even so, that didn't stop him.
He continued to stuff his hasty tongue inside, sucked it up, and swallowed it as if he intended to swallow it.
Clear saliva, moaning sounds, and coarse breathing began to flow through their overlapping lips.
