Don't Call Me an Actor

Don't Call Me an Actor
Chapter 9

"Ana. We don't blame you. All this happened because of your sincerity in wanting to help Sella. Mom already knows what Sella is like, that's why she told you to stay away from her." My mother's words surprised me. All this time my mother behaved naturally every time Sella came home. What secrets have you been keeping all this time?

"Emak knows?" Ask me astonishment. Is it possible that you know that Sella has married someone's husband. It could be said that Sella became a mistress.

"Yes.at that time my mother drove the iron to Tini's house. Mom accidentally saw Sella doing something inappropriate with a guy in the living room. At that time, my mother went straight home. Mom pretended not to know, because at that time she was afraid that Sella was making trouble with our family." Mother said with regret.

I don't know if I feel relieved, it turns out my mother doesn't know Sella's true status. Even if Sella has let me down. But I don't want anyone to take a worse view of him. Right now I just found out, that all this time my mother forbade me to be close to Sella because she had a good reason. And of course that advice is for my own good, too.

"Emak. sorry, Ana. Like Ana would obey her mother. This is definitely not going to happen" I regret.

"This is for learning for us. Always open in every problem. So that we can support each other and our problems can be resolved properly. Also hear your mother's advice?" Mother's advice to us.

"Yes mom, we're going to shrink." We said simultaneously. We embraced each other again.

I have no treasure to be proud of. But I have Mom, Nita and Doni the three people I love the most. They are the greatest treasure of my life.

"Already..don't keep hugging." Mom started to melt the atmosphere. "Let's just collect the good stuff for us to bring later." Mom got up, picked up clothes scattered in the yard. We finally followed my mother. I took our old suitcase and filled it with two photos of my father left. The clothes also try to put in his clothes but no longer fit.

Suddenly a car stopped in front of the house. An unusual sight. Because never once had a car to get into the small alley in front of our house. It made the four of us spontaneously look.

Out of the car came a very handsome young man. It fascinated me instantly. "It seems I know him" I whispered softly.make Nita who stood close to me turn her head towards me.

"Sir Ana knows him?" Ask Nita curious.

I shook my head because I couldn't remember where I met that handsome guy.

The man walked closer and closer towards me. As I got closer, I just remembered that man was Deni. Assistant to Mr. Angga. Just like what Mr. Angga said when vc with me. I didn't think Deni could come sooner.

"Miss Ana... I told Mr. Angga to pick you up. Mr. Angga also advised that you can carry items but only as many as this box." Deni said while thrusting a shoebox at me.

"What does that mean?" Ask me astonishment. I don't understand what Deni said. But... My other stuff wants to be accompanied?

"The government of Mr. Angga should not be denied Non. Miss Ana knows for herself, doesn't she, what about Mr Angga being angry?" Deni tried to remind me. Makes me just nod slowly. Mr. Angga's threat never played. Because I got a glass, I was in police. I bergidig remembered it. I don't want to be exposed to Mr. Angga's anger anymore.

"Non, in half an hour I have to pick up Mr. Angga. He has an important meeting today. Miss please be a bit quick. I'm waiting in the car." Finished saying, Deni went straight to his car.

"Mr. Angga told his assistant to pick us up. But we can only carry as many items as this shoebox." I said with regret.

My mom and my two sisters were shocked.

"Oh. no papa An... We'll bring the important ones." Mom looks tough. He immediately unpacked the suitcase, took two framed photographs. He took a picture of our father and a picture of our family from his frame. Mom just took her picture. His frame he left among other things.

While Nita and Doni bring their dolls and favorite clothes. I picked up three pairs of work clothes, and the only one was my pair of work shoes. I was confused when I had trouble organizing it into a shoebox. Because those things can't fit all into that little shoebox.

Doni had the idea of wearing a triple dress. I laughed to see it, but I also admitted that the idea was quite brilliant. True too, Deni said that for the goods carried should not be more than a shoe box. Didn't say how many clothes to wear, did you? Nita and I followed Doni's idea. I wear layered clothes.

'Thin's'

It seems like Deni can't wait for us. I immediately invited my mother and sisters to get to the car. Deni got out of the car to open the car door for us. But he seemed surprised to see us. Maybe he didn't think we were going to wear layers of clothes.

"Ehm.I may not have conveyed Mr. Angga's message clearly. Regarding clothes, only those attached to the body can be carried." Deni smiled with an amused smile looking at us.

I admit that our behavior is very bad. It's only right that Deni laughs at her. We immediately removed the clothes we were wearing. Deni immediately asked for the clothes that we just took off and took him away. He threw the clothes into the pile of our other things.

As Deni turned towards us, smoke billowed. I was surprised to see the smoke growing thicker.

"A.. a...pa what are you doing?" I asked Deni with anger. Our clothes, although not branded clothes are still worth wearing. At least if later there are scavengers who find they can still wear it.

"If I hadn't burned it, Tini would have burned it too. Better Miss and family get in the car quickly. Fearful that many citizens will come, and will make it harder for us later." Deni said as he opened the car door. My mother and sister sat in the back seat. I sat on the bench next to the driver.

The car drove fine. I'm still putting words together for me to say to Deni. I haven't even thrown a question, Deni has opened the words.

"Non... This week for a while stay at the inn, while waiting for the renovation of the house to be completed. Today miss does not need to go to the office, earlier Mr. Angga has requested permission from the superior lady. So today use the best time for the ladies and families shopping for clothes. There will be a driver who will deliver. And Mr. Angga's message, shopping only at the place indicated. Not anywhere else. For a shopping list that must be spent, I will send it via WA. Oh yes there are rations, three times in the restaurant in the inn as well." Deni closed his lengthy explanation. I just nodded.

"Mas Deni, I am very grateful for his help for our family" I said sincerely.

"My name is only obeying the orders of Mr. Angga. As good as it was, the thanks were conveyed to him." Deni's flat word made me a little upset. I sincerely thanked him. If it's Mr. Angga's business, I'll call him specifically later.
