“What? Don't talk carelessly, miss! My son will have a blessing ceremony in a few moments with his bride-to-be!” Anette, who did not accept Cathy's words, immediately came forward and approached the girl.
Highlighting her sharp eyes, she floated over to the beautiful blonde girl, who was unaffected by the loud speech of Aaron's mother. Shortly after, Anette fell silent. The middle-aged woman turned her gaze to her eldest son who was still sitting tight. “Aaron?” Anette's voice sounded vibrating.
“I won't ask you to marry me, Aaron. I just came here to tell you that you're gonna be a dad. You don't have to feel burdened by that. Please continue your wedding plans with Blaire.” Cathy moved from her place. Without saying much more, the girl then turned around. He intended to step near the fence.
“Cathy,” call Aaron slowly. His heavy voice managed to stop the movements of the beautiful girl earlier. Cathy did not look. The position of the girl who claimed to be pregnant was still standing on her back to Aaron who was walking towards her. Blaire's future husband then grabbed Cathy's hand. Unexpectedly, Aaron led the girl out of the house.
Curious about what Aaron would do, Anette caught up with him. She raised the bottom of the long dress that she was wearing, so as not to be a hindrance in stepping. However, the middle-aged woman's footwork stopped immediately, when she saw Aaron taking Cathy to the Shuterland Family home. Anette took a deep breath. He had to calm down, before continuing his steps into the courtyard of the Viktoriya residence.
Inside there, Blaire was already standing in a beautiful white dress. The wedding dress was designed very simply, without any accents and decorations. However, she still looks beautiful and very elegant, when worn by Ainsley's mother.
Viktorija is standing right next to the princess who is about to give up her single life. The two blond women were glued to look at Aaron, who entered the house with a beautiful girl. The girl Blaire knew as her husband's best friend.
“Cathy,” greet Blaire with warm. He threw a friendly smile at the girl he had met once, while in Glasgow. “You're here?”
Cathy returned the friendly smile that Blaire had put on her. The beautiful girl who works as a bartender, at first looks a bit clumsy. Cathy's attention then turned to Viktorija who looked at her with a full look. A moment later, the slender girl's eyes turned to Ainsley who was sitting on the sofa. “What is your son, Blaire?” ask Cathy.
“Yes. His name is Ainsley,” says Blaire immediately.
“How is it now?” ask Cathy again. The girl started to look calm and ordinary.
“It's getting better,” replied Blaire. He felt something strange. However, Blaire was still guessing. “Are you okay, Aaron? You shouldn't have come here at this point,” Blaire said with a strange smile on her face.
“I should have waited for you before the priest, but ...” Aaron paused his words for a moment.
“But what?” ask Blaire. His attention was instantly distracted at Anette who had just entered and was standing by the door. The question of Blaire's wonder and curiosity grew, as she stared at Anette's unusual look.
“But I have to see you before facing the priest ..”
“Aaron ...” Anette's voice sounded so soft, interrupting the child's speech. Anette can't imagine what would happen if Aaron revealed the truth they just found out.
“Blaire, forgive me for having to cancel our marriage,” Aaron said straightforwardly, without further ado.
“Not funny jokes, Aaron,” scolds Viktorija. He did not like the words of his son-in-law.
“This is no joke, Mrs Shuterland. I'm gonna free Blaire this time. Completely let him go, because there is someone who needs me much more near him.” Aaron glanced at Cathy who was looking at Blaire. The two beautiful blonde girls seemed to be reading each other's minds.
“So, the perfume parfume is yours, Cathy?” blaire asked suddenly, after a while they fell silent to each other.
A suffocating-sounding answer for Blaire and Viktorija as well. While Anette tried her hardest to stay standing. The middle-aged woman immediately leaned against the wall.
“So this is the revenge you gave me, Aaron?” blaire asked with her voice soft and trembling.
“I don't ..”
“All the pain you have received from me, you have returned it with many times more pain,” Blaire said cutting Aaron's sentence just like that.
“I didn't mean it at all, Blaire. I also did not think that ...” Aaron approached Blaire while extending a hand. He was about to touch the cheeks of the future wife who began to get wet with tears.
“Stop!” prevent Blaire. “You vile man! I hope you're content to destroy me!” The girl in the white bride's dress began to spiral out of control. He brushed Aaron's hand so hard while pushing the tall body.
“Mother!" Seeing that Blaire was overcome with emotion, Ainsley began to fear and cry.
“Come. Let's go to the room, son. Let your mother talk to uncle,” said Viktorija who felt that the atmosphere was getting out of control. He immediately took the five-year-old boy to his room.
“You have no idea how happy I have been these past few days, Aaron. From the beginning I have made a choice for you. I'm going to do it all with all my heart. I sacrificed my love, happiness, and wishful thinking to be with you. I've been imagining standing at the altar that should happen a while longer.” Blaire gasped as she blurted out words. His chest felt so tight when it came to painful reality.
“I'm sorry, Blaire. We hurt each other. What Cathy said was true that I pushed myself too hard. I expect too much from you.” Aaron bowed lethargicly, then squashed down at Blaire's feet.
“Aaron,” whispered Cathy shriveled. Both hands try to hold the shoulder of a man who has always considered himself as a friend.
“I really feel happy wearing this wedding dress, Aaron. I've been imagining being owned by a man as good as you.” Blaire's voice was getting louder. Instantly Aaron looked up and looked at Blaire with a bitter look.
“It turns out, the man I thought was good had dumped me just moments before the wedding.” Blaire laughed bitterly. I don't know what's funny. But he could no longer think. Whether Blaire should be sad or happy.
“Your revenge is absolutely perfect,” hiss Blaire. She then lifted the bottom of her white dress. Blaire then walks past Aaron, who is still in a tight position. The girl also paid no attention to Anette leaning her body on the doorway. Without turning his head again, Blaire rushed out the front door and ran towards the residential street.
“Blaire!” shouted Aaron loudly. He ran after the girl. “Blaire, wait!” Aaron's long steps, managed to catch up with Blaire easily. Especially because the girl had trouble holding the bottom of her dress.
“Blaire! I have no other choice.” Aaron's right hand grabbed Blaire's wrist. However, the girl immediately dismissed it. She even slapped her future husband's cheek. That made Aaron quiet.
“Don't follow me! If you really don't want to hurt me any further, then stop showing your face in front of me!” Slowly and emphatically, Blaire said to Aaron.
Finished saying so, Blaire turned around leaving Aaron still glued to his place. He's not walking in any direction. Her makeup had worn off. The black mascara is also littering the underside of the eyes. Blaire did not care anymore when several pairs of eyes looked at her with a look of astonishment.
She continued walking with her legs shaken, even the bottom of her white dress was dirty and also looked shabby. Without Blaire noticing, her footsteps led her to the front of Christian's antique shop.
