Edinburgh
The Man of a Million Mysteries

Ainsley ran into the yard, shortly after Aaron opened the door and removed his seatbelt. The boy looked very cheerful while carrying a clay toy shaped dinosaur earlier. Blaire responded with a smile. After all, the little heart of the girl was still thinking about the man she had just met.

"He looks very cheerful" said Aaron, who was standing next to Blaire.

"Yes. At least today he didn't bother me in the store" Blaire replied. In fact, today his mind was completely unable to concentrate fully.

"Goodoo. He's getting bigger and he'll understand more and more of his mother." Aaron smiled, then turned his eyes to Blaire. "Thank you, Blaire" he said later.

"Thank you for what?" asked the green-eyed girl to return Aaron's gaze.

"Thank you for .. for giving me the opportunity to show you how I feel" Aaron replied with a very difficult happiness to express. Aaron is lucky. His long wait had arrived at the one answer he expected.

Just like Blaire. During this time, he was also looking forward to the return of a Christian. Confidence in the heart is so strong, answered already with today's meeting. However, why is the man who is the biological father of his son, actually back when he just received the love of an Aaron Walsh.

"Is that so special to you, Aaron?" ask Blaire slowly.

"You know that I've been waiting for this for a long time" replied the eldest of the three brothers. "Oh yeah. Natalie's wedding preparations have been fully completed. I hope everything goes according to expectations." The man began to invite Blaire to have a casual conversation, because he knew that Ainsley's mother felt uncomfortable when discussing feelings.

"Thank God. I was dying to help, but you know for yourself I've been so busy lately." Blaire filed a short complaint.

"It's okay. After all, we've hired a trusted wedding organizer here." Aaron then grabbed both of Blaire's hands, then clasped them tightly. "I've signed a contract with a major company in Glasgow. Pray for me that everything will be smooth. After this all works out, I want to wave you. We got married and maybe moved there. I'm gonna buy you a house that's worth a lot to you and Ainsley."

Aaron's pair of blue eyes looked so radiant. Its beautiful rays even beat the sun in the spring. However, things are different that Blaire points out in response to Aaron's perfect expectations. The girl did not show the enthusiasm she should have.

"Is this not too fast?" Blaire didn't know what to say but to ask that question.

"Of course not. I mean, it's a long-term plan. I also have to finish some business first. However, there is at least one point that is our goal, so this journey will become much more directed. It also certainly can spur me more in building a business," explained Aaron still with passionate enthusiasm.

"Listen, Blaire. I can't wait to get to that point. I want to make you and Ainsley happy soon. You two." Aaron kissed both of Blaire's hands which he still held tightly.

While Blaire herself was increasingly confused, other than just nodding with a smile. "You have given so much to both of us, so much that I don't know how to thank you" Blaire replied.

"You don't have to thank me, Blaire. By seeing you always smiling, it was already a fitting reply for me. I love you sincerely. I love Ainsley wholeheartedly, even though she's not my flesh and blood." Aaron kissed Blaire's hands again. "Get in before the little whiz yells and thinks that I've kidnapped you." Aaron laughed softly.

"All right." Blaire smiled gently. After that, he stepped near the gate that was already open. Before entering, the beautiful girl had a look first. He smiled again and waved his hand.

While at home, Ainsley was busy playing with Viktorija. The middle-aged woman looked tired. At a young age, he is still very active in various activities.

"How's Mom doing?" blaire asked after kissing Viktoriya's forehead sitting on the sofa.

"I've been sleeping for a while" said Viktoriya calmly.

"It's diminished. You don't have to worry. I think maybe because I was sleep deprived last night. There are a lot of things that I have to prepare before leaving today" Viktorija explained.

"Maybe it's time for Mom to rest" Blaire suggested.

"Ah no. I love this job. It feels so good to still be able to move actively at my current age. I don't want to end up like Miss Clarkson, who just watered the grass by the window."

"You're the best, Mom. That's why I admire you so much." Blaire shifted her seat, then grabbed her shoulder warmly.

"Ouch!" Suddenly Ainsley whined softly.

"What's up, honey?" ask Viktoriya. He immediately approached the granddaughter who was sitting on the carpet playing.

"My dinosaur scores loose, Grandma," said Ainsley with a frowning face.

"Gosh, what's wrong with me." Viktorija took a slow breath. He sat back on the sofa.

"What's wrong. I can ask my uncle at the store to make it again tomorrow" the boy said, grabbing another toy and returning to his usual attitude.

"Whose uncle?" ask Viktoriya curious. While Blaire already looked agitated.

"Uncle at the store near the store, Grandma," replied Ainsley without looking at the grandmother.

The boy's reply made Viktorija instantly put on a serious look. He then turned to Blaire who seemed to want to dodge immediately. However, the look in the middle-aged widow's eyes had locked Blaire to stay where she was.

"Who does Ainsley mean, Blaire?' ask Viktorija full of questions. "Don't say if ...." The middle-aged woman did not continue her words. For some reason, suddenly the mind of the grandmother of a grandchild was directly addressed to Christian. "I hope it's not him" Viktorija said again as she moved away from her seat. He just passed from the family room. Viktoriya chose to go into the kitchen and prepare dinner.

While Christian lay his sturdy body, on a thin mattress that is in the back of the shop room. He folded his left hand and was used as a head brace. The gaze from his pair of gray eyes, glared at the ceiling of the room decorated with spider webs. Christian did not clean the room properly.

In silence, the Mexican kept thinking. Her shadow was fixed on Blaire's pretty face. For a long time he left the girl, and now the owner of the green eyes has been owned by another man. Blaire already has a child.

Christian then decided to get out of his sleep. He grabbed a jacket as well as a baseball cap hanging on the wall. The man with the sturdy posture earlier then walked out from inside the store. With both hands in his jacket pocket, Christian walks down the sidewalk alone.

The atmosphere of the streets has been quite quiet, because most shops along the road have closed. Back then, time showed at half-twelve o'clock in the evening. Christian was not afraid at all. He continued walking with his sharp eyes fixed forward.

Never imagined in the minds of the man a million mysteries, to return to Edinburgh which he had long left. I don't know what size magnet, so able to pull it so strongly. He also decided to come back there. In fact, Christian who is always moving places, never returned to the same location. However, this time he left a huge imprint on the city.

But Christian knew the reason. A strange feeling that made him unable to live quietly all this time. Not what, but who. The answer was he who was looking out the window.
