Edinburgh
The Face Behind the Door

Love is blind. Just last night Blaire had a serious conversation with her mother, but in fact the beautiful girl was sitting next to the man she really wanted to avoid. That's something that's impossible for a Blaire. How not, the look of admiration in the eye for the man from Mexico next to him is enormous.

Christian Alvarez Teixeira is amazing. There was nothing else that Blaire wanted, other than to lean on her sturdy and comfortable shoulders while inhaling the scent of the man's masculine body.

"How did you sleep last night?" ask Christian while tasting Blaire's clothespin with a friendly.

"Eitherway. I try not to bring any unrest to the bed, for if I do so until morning comes my eyes will remain awake," sahut Blaire set his sights on the vast expanse of Edinburgh, which was clearly visible from the top of the hill where he and Christian were.

It's a pity that they come there in the fall, so the sky is not as bright as they should be able to enjoy. However, that doesn't matter to Blaire, as long as she can spend time with Christian.

"What else is bothering you, Blaire? I hope it's not about the questions you've always asked me" Christian said.

"If the truth is so?" Blaire responded. He looked at the softly handsome man next to him.

"Did I bother you so much?" christian asked half a whisper. His voice sounded heavy and deep.

"Aren't you aware of it, Chris?" Blaire made a short complaint. He returned his eyes forward. "Edinburgh City is not as big as London. Why did you choose to stay in the area where I live, and also buy Mr. MacKenzie's antique shop. Gosh, I've never been in a position like this" Blaire lamented softly. He flicked his hair that was blocking his forehead from being hit by the wind.

"Why do you feel so upset?" christian asked still looking calm. The handsome man followed Blaire's gaze.

"You know what, Chris?" Blaire turned back to the man with the black leather jacket next to her. "I talked to my mom all night. He wants me to stay away from you. Almost everyone in our neighborhood thinks you're a weird guy, Chris." After saying so, the girl leaned her head against Christian's shoulder.

"Do you think the same as them, Blaire?" ask Christian. Since then, he had not let go of the blond girl's hand. Every now and then, Christian kisses the girl gently.

"I don't think it's wrong for them to think so about you. You are weird and unpleasant. Christian is a cold, thin guy, and also keeps a lot of secrets hidden even from the girl he's been sleeping with and ...." Blaire paused her words.

As usual, the girl will be like a statue where all the contents of the head become scattered, making it feel so empty. Blaire could think of nothing, each time having to fight the gaze of her pair of gray eyes.

"G ...." The voice******* was slowly restrained, when for the umpteenth time Blaire again felt a gentle touch full of warmth from the owner of the dark hair. Christian's soft kiss will always be the best he has ever enjoyed.

"I'm not the kind of person who talks a lot to anyone" Christian said. She gently stroked Blaire's cheek which was still facing her.

"I thought you'd give me an exception." Sayu Blaire's eye-to-eye implied a disappointment.

"You've got it, Blaire. And yet, somehow a way to show you that. One thing's for sure, with you I do a lot of madness out of my habit." Christian again gently kissed the girl's lips even if only briefly.

"You're a very pretty girl and have beautiful green eyes. I can't help myself being close like this to you. Then we make love ...." Christian laughed softly. Something Blaire's never seen before. It made the girl so amazed by it.

"What makes you laugh, Chris?" ask Blaire curiously.

"You and me," answered Christian making Blaire squint her forehead, "i mean .. I've never made love on a park bench or under a tree. Gosh, this is really a madness I only do with you." The gray-eyed man shook his head slowly.

"I know that. I really appreciate it" said Christian again. His eyes looked serious as he said so. "I hope you can always be a strong girl and take care of yourself and your family, Blaire." Christian kisses the hand of the girl who has given him a new color, in his daily life lately. He looks so sincere.

The other is Blaire. The girl squinted her beautiful pair of eyes. He felt that there was something else about what Christian had just said. "Are you going to leave me, Chris?" ask her a few moments later.

But Christian did not answer. The handsome man only turned his head for a moment, then smiled wryly. After that, Christian again set his sights on the expanse of Edinburgh city that looks beautiful even in a cloudy atmosphere.

Rain spots fell and wet the pavement that became the beachhead of Blaire and Christian. The two men were on their way home. With kindness, Christian made his jacket a headscarf for both of them.

"What if we have lunch, Blaire?" bargained for.

"Not a bad idea. Are you gonna practice me?" blaire asked with a laugh full of jokes.

"of course. I still have a few pounds in my wallet. You don't have to worry" said Christian in response to the girl's joke.

The two entered a simple restaurant that they passed by. After entering and taking the table by the window, Christian then chose the menu. Blaire followed what the man had ordered. Back, the two lovebirds knit a sweet togetherness there.

Unlike usual, Christian that day became more talkative although still not as much as Blaire of course. But it's something really extraordinary. The handsome man listened to everything Blaire told him, then responded.

"I don't know if Latin American men turn out to be so much fun" Blaire said, propping up her chin. While his gaze was soft on Christian, who was also doing the same.

"Today I was close to a blonde girl. You're so beautiful, Blaire," Christian replied. They looked at each other for a while, until a waiter came and presented the menu that had been ordered. "Just looking at me won't make you full" said the man, reminding Blaire to eat her food immediately.

While Blaire only laughed crisply as she responded. The beautiful girl looked very cheerful, even though the rain was pouring down on the city. However, at least it can hold the two of them, to add time together until a few more moments.

After noon, the rain began to fall. However, puddles on the surface of the road pavement, still visible in some corners that they pass on the way home.

"I'll stop by the store first. There's something I have to take" Christian said after they almost arrived near the store and the store.

"My day is closed. So, I'm not going to stop by there" Blaire responded. "Do you want me to be with you, Chris?" haggle the girl.

"No, Miss Shuterland. Looks like I'll be a little long. You go home first. I'll call you back." Christian stopped his steps right in front of the door of his antique shop. Before letting Blaire go, the man took the time to kiss her again.

"I love it, Chris," said Blaire, smiling softly. After which, he waved while walking backwards. While Christian looked at him closely until Blaire turned her body and continued to move towards home.

During the journey, Blaire endlessly smiled to herself. The advice of the mother, who told her to stay away from the man, had been violated. Blaire has no power to do that.

With a pair of beloved red brogue shoes, Blaire stepped confidently. The girl put both hands into the pocket of the coat to ward off the cold air. However, when he passed the front road of Christian's house, Blaire was stunned for a while. He looked towards the residence of the man he had just dated.

A great curiosity, had prompted the girl to step in and pass through the grounds. Blaire was even standing at the door. After gathering all his courage, he knocked on it several times. Not long after, someone was heard opening the door from inside. Looks like a pretty dark-haired face.
