Christian's Past

Instantly, Blaire and Christian turned simultaneously towards the source of the voice. Right in the open doorway, Viktorija had been standing with eyes that looked so sharp. The middle-aged woman obviously did not like, with the view presented in front of her house. "Come in, Blaire," Viktoriya said. "Ainsley woke up and she ...."

Not yet had the middle-aged woman continue her words, suddenly from the inside came the sound of Ainsley's cry which was quite loud. Blaire and Viktorija rush in, leaving Christian stunned. Especially as Ainsley's cry became clearer.

It seems Blaire and Viktorija are overwhelmed to calm the boy down, so Christian decides to come in. Without excuse, he climbed the stairs towards the second floor, where the direction of the sound came from. Christian then stops in front of a room full of child toys and star-patterned wallpaper and a shuttle.

“Is Ainsley okay?” he asked in a deep and heavy voice, making Blaire and Viktorija turn in unison towards the man.

“What are you doing here? Who allowed you to log in?” Looking at Viktorija, he turned to Christian. While his hands were busy patting the back of Ainsley who was in Blaire's sling.

“Bu, stop it,” prevent that pretty girl from feeling bad.

While Ainsley who had been hiding his head on the shoulder of the mother, suddenly looked up and turned to Christian. “Uncle, I'm scared. I had a bad dream,” he said with a sob occasionally. Not only that, the five-year-old boy also reached out to Christian, as if hoping that the man would approach him.

Seeing the cue from Ainsley as if he wanted to be carried, Christian immediately went forward and grabbed the boy from Blaire's sling.

“It's okay, Ains. It was just a dream,” he said in a soft, soft voice. Far from the style of speech that always seems flat and cold.

“Guide me, Uncle. I'm afraid the dream is coming again,” whine Ainsley hugged Christian tightly.

“What was your dream just now?” christian asked as he rubbed the boy's back.

“I dreamed there was someone who pulled me away from my mother and grandmother,” Ainsley replied softly, “but luckily you came soon, Uncle. You've helped me. Thank you,”.

Ainsley's voice sounded like a tune that was so melodious, as well as adorable in Christian's ears. He holds that tiny body. Christian hugged his flesh and blood with all his feelings. “Sleep,” the man whispered quietly while stroking Ainsley's blonde hair.

What Christian was doing back then in Ainsley's room left Blaire and Viktorija completely unable to do anything about it. For Blaire, the scene before her eyes was the sweetest thing she had ever experienced in a lifetime. The heart, which had been empty for years and seemed to freeze, was now melting and warming slowly.

So did Viktorija. The middle-aged woman was simply unable to say a word. He stands between worries. Such great anger, fighting with so much pity, that it was difficult for him to keep Christian away from Ainsley.

After all, the gray-eyed man was the biological father of the granddaughter who certainly had rights to Ainsley. In the end, Viktorija chose to leave the room while slowly closing the door.

“Rest, Blaire. Let me take care of Ainsley,” Christian said after a while in silence. Ainsley fell asleep again in her arms. The handsome boy looked so soundly asleep with his head leaning against his father's broad shoulders.

While the green eyes of Blaire can not be separated from the figure of Christian, who looks so charming. Especially because the man seemed very flexible in carrying his son.

“Have you ever had a child, Chris?” blaire asked in half a whisper.

Instead of answering, Christian laughed softly. “Ainsley was my first son. You are the first woman to ... who ..” The man looked down and did not continue his words. "I've been taking care of Pandora since childhood. We both live without parents" Christian said slowly. He turned to Blaire for a moment.

"Gosh," said Blaire. Pity and pity instantly seeped from inside the chest. For this time, little by little the mysterious figure began to be willing to reveal himself in real terms, although Blaire was convinced that Christian still had a myriad of stories that he kept to himself. "I'm sad, Chris, too" said the girl slowly.

“Thank you. Sleep, Blaire.” Christian moved his back to the beautiful blonde girl. I don't know what else he's trying to hide from the beautiful girl.

“Have you never had a lover before?” ask Blaire then. The girl's curiosity reappeared.

“I've never been close to anyone. My profession used to be .. You know what, right? I can't communicate too much with anyone else, including my sister. Though we used to be close,” answered Christian flat.

“Gosh.” Christian's laughter grew wider. “Looks like you're a perfect fit as a detective,”.

“Jawab only, Chris. You have no idea how tortured I have been for the past five years. I've always suspected everything about you that I don't know at all. At least tell me what Mr. Christian Alvarez really looks like. Just a little,” urged Blaire not despair.

“Shortly, let me lay our child first,” said Christian unintentionally who immediately realized by himself and Blaire.

“Our son.” Blaire gave a smile with a flushed face and a racing heart.

“Ya, I .. sorry.” Christian just looked wrong this time. Nervously, he laid Ainsley on the bed, then wrapped the tiny body up to his chin.

However, just as Christian was about to get off the edge of the bed, the little boy suddenly cried and took his hand out of the blanket. He seemed to be reaching for something with his eyes closed. “Uncle, don't go. Here only,” the raga.

Christian was stunned to see that. Immediately, he sat back down and clasped Ainsley's fingers. “I'm here, sleep,” he said slowly while rubbing the child's head.

“How does it feel?” blaire asked half a whisper.

“What?” Christian frowned because he didn't understand.

“How does it feel to have a child?” blaire whispered in a stifled voice.

“Yes for gosh." Christian shook his head slowly. “You're still as chatty as you were a few years ago." The man nodded slowly. "So, which question should I answer first ?”

“Oh.” Blaire then smiled wryly. “Jawab used to be from the top of the list,” said the girl. Highlight his eyes fixed and full of admiration, he aimed at the man who was taking off his shoes and half lying on Ainsley's side.

"My father was shot dead while performing his duties. She left us in deep anxiety, after my new mother gave birth to Pandora, my only sister. Mother who loves father too much, so devastated and desperate. He lost all hope, so he finally decided to end his life without thinking about the two of us. Pandora was very small, much smaller than Ainsley." Christian then fell silent. For the first time, he told someone the heartbreaking story.

"However, it didn't last long. I, who was not very mature, had to go out often to find money and food while carrying Pandora. So, my neighbor took us both to the nearest orphanage. In my teens, I left the orphanage and split up with Pandora. Years of living life on the streets until someone found me,” Christian said again.

“He saw potential in me. Strong physique and a little martial ability, made him interested to take me to a secret camp somewhere special located in the territory of the state of Nevada, United States. The camp belonged to someone who was very influential in the government. There, we were educated to be killing machines,” Christian continued.

“I get paid fantastically for every target to execute. The target was determined by the client who hired us.” Christian took a deep breath before continuing his story. “Until one day, a client came and brought a portrait of Pandora. He said that my sister was the next target of the murder,” Christian continued.

“I instantly moved looking for the whereabouts of Pandora. After we met, I immediately took him away from America. I tried to save him and hide him. I thought this was the safest place. But, I was wrong. My ex-colleagues found us. He who used to buy coffee at your place and claimed to be named Black Rifle,” Christian said again.

“Yes, I remember." Blaire's memory goes back several years, where she served coffee orders from the Christian-like man.

“That moment, Pandora made me realize that bringing you into my life was the biggest mistake. I can't harm you, Blaire. That's why I went away from you with Pandora, to keep you safe. She was also forced to claim to be my wife, so you wouldn't have any more hope. However, it turned out ...” Christian paused his explanation, then turned to look at Ainsley with eyes so sad. “I did not know that he would be born into the world,” he said softly.

Blaire herself could only be stifled by Christian's words.

“Where have you been for the last five years, Chris?” Hesitating, Blaire asked after a while had passed.

“Solve all my business with the powerful people in the organization, Blaire. In the end I won and the secret camp was closed. The American government has not provided any charges. They even released me, in return for being instrumental in eradicating the organization that had been overshadowing me,” Christian explained.

“I am now a free man, Blaire. No more danger will lurk. That's why I came back here and intend to start everything from scratch with you. However, it seems like it's too late. Too many things I missed.” Christian smiled bitterly, then looked down silently.
