Christian stared fixedly at the beautiful girl in front of him. Highlight the cold and mysterious eyes, not only separated from the handsome but flat face. "You're besides being chatty, you always want to know other people's business. Come in and take your medicine." After saying so, the sturdy man immediately turned his back.
"Then, what about the party? You haven't made up your mind" Blaire said a little loudly, as Christian was about to get in the car.
Taking a short breath, Christian turned his head. The owner of the gray eyes was clucking softly while shaking his head. "You already know my answer, without having to answer your question. I'm not a party guy" he said. Not wanting to mince words anymore, the man immediately went in and drove his vehicle. He didn't care even though Blaire was still standing at the door while paying attention.
"Oh, what an amazing neighbor," Blaire lamented. Just as he was about to enter, the door of his house had already been opened from within. A man with a thick beard and curly-haired shoulder to shoulder, appeared carrying a special bag for utensils. "Mr Gibson," said Blaire warmly.
"Hi, Blaire. Did you just come home?" ask the man no less friendly.
"Yes, sir," said Blaire. He then waved at the man who was immediately saying goodbye to him. A moment later, Blaire turns her attention to Viktorija who appears there. "How's the television, Mom?"
"It's better to watch" Viktoriya replied. "So I skimmed at the running text. Is it true that Mr Fraser died? Why so suddenly?" The middle-aged woman seemed to put on a wondering look.
"Yes, the news is true. Me and Christian just got back from there. Mrs Fraser looks very sad" said Blaire.
"It must have been no different from me when your father died. All the women who love her husband will behave like that" Viktorija replied, circulating her gaze around the beautiful courtyard. "Where is Christian?" tanyakanya.
"He went straight home" Blaire replied as she entered, then removed the headgear and coat she was wearing. "I have to take medicine soon, Mom. It hurts so much" the blonde-haired girl complained as she sat down slowly.
"You shouldn't move too much first, Blaire," Viktorija advised. "Do I need to bring your medicine here?" bargained for.
"No need, Mom. I'll just go straight to the room" Blaire refused as she moved from her seat. With a fairly careful step, the girl began to walk one by one the stairs to her room. Blaire then opened the door, along with the mobile phone vibrating inside the grasp.
Sandra's name is listed as a caller. Blaire complained slowly. He knew that his best friend was definitely going to discuss the matter of the party, which will be held tomorrow night. He wanted to avoid having conversations with the girl, but Blaire was not that type of person.
"Hello" he said as he climbed into bed.
"Hi, Blaire. Hows it? Eileen had already paid the down payment for the reservation fee to Bridget. We just pay the rest. However, as I have said before, the rest of the payment would be considered paid off if Christian could come and ...."
"Why did Bridget want Christian so much? I'm sure the man won't be willing to make love to her" Blaire cut without waiting for Sandra to finish her sentence.
"Ah I don't know." Sandra laughed giggling. "We know who Bridget is" the girl continued.
"Yes. It would be a pity if I had to introduce Christian to him" Blaire said, grimacing.
"Dearly enough?" reset Sandra. "Hm, it looks like I can smell something," she said.
"Shut up!" sergeant Blaire. While Sandra just chuckles amusedly. "I'm really sorry. Christian says he's not a party guy. I think that's a very clear answer."
"Ah what a pity," Sandra said. "That means, we have to prepare for a joint venture to pay off the rest of the payments. Oh, well. Good goods will always be priced at a high price," said the girl later.
They talked for a while before the conversation ended. Blaire paused for a moment before putting down her phone. Back in his ear, a remark from Adam who said that Christian was not an ordinary man. The same thing Blaire had expected from the start.
......................
As Viktorija once said the other day, the alarm on the phone wouldn't dare wake a Blaire. That morning, the beautiful girl still looked so comfortable on her bed. Last night he didn't even get to change his clothes and take off his shoes.
"Are you going to sleep, Sleeping Beauty?" Viktorija patted her daughter's cheek. While Blaire just squirms slowly while grasping tightly the edge of the blanket. However, the girl did not seem to intend to wake up immediately.
"Blaire, breakfast is ready and you're still in bed. This is not good for a girl like you. If you're married later, don't let your husband stand by the window looking at your neighbor's wife who's exercising in the morning in tight clothes."
“I wouldn't want to have a basket-eyed husband, Mom,” reply the girl is still with her eyes closed.
“Oh, yes? What kind of man is your dream?” Viktorija sees an opportunity to seek deeper information about her daughter's romance.
“Like Christian,” replies to Blaire just like that, making her wake up and opening her eyes wide. He looked at the mother who was looking at him meaningfully. Viktorija smiled as Blaire hurriedly sat down and leaned against the headboard.
“I've guessed. You look so excited every time you're near Christian.” Viktorija smelled his smile.
“Unfortunately my love is clapping one hand, Mom. He's not interested at all. I usually refuse men. But now everything has changed since I got to know Christian.” Blaire took a slow breath. “Ah, come on, I want to take a shower. Today I'm going to Eileen's, Mom. There are important things that we have to discuss,” he said as he got out of bed carefully, then stepped into the bathroom.
“You still haven't healed properly, Blaire. Respect first,” Viktorija's advice while following her daughter into the bathroom.
“Instead I have to move a lot, Mom. At least that's what the doctor said yesterday so that my abdominal muscles don't stiffen. It doesn't matter as long as I don't work or lift something heavy,” refutes Blaire, then closes the bathroom door slowly.
If so, then it would be futile for Viktorija to persuade her daughter. “Ya, stop. It's up to you. I'm waiting in the dining room, Blaire!” before leaving the princess' room.
A few minutes later, Blaire was done tidying up. He rushed down the stairs and approached his mother at the dinner table. After a short breakfast, the mother and child prepared to leave the house with their own goals. Blaire is about to go to Eileen's house, while Viktoriya walks to her tavern.
They walked in different directions when they arrived at the crossroad. “Be careful, Blaire. Try not to go out too long,” Viktorija message while kissing both cheeks of her beloved daughter.
“Good, Mom. See you later.” Blaire kissed her cheek back, then waved her hand.
Eileen's house was close to Blaire's. Only a few blocks away, Blaire can sit back in her best friend's room. However, not even halfway through the trip, a black sedan car just stopped nearby. A tall, well-built man came out from there and approached Blaire who kept walking.
The girl was impressed not to care until the unknown man called her name. “Nona Shuterland? We have to talk.”
