The fan's humming sound became the only sound that filled Flo's ears inside the library this afternoon. Lonely library of visitors in the last lesson hours like now. He shouldn't be here if the tenth grade math teacher doesn't suddenly have any business, leaving behind a boring blank hour.
Flo's pony-tailed hair swayed left and right whenever he stepped on the sidelines of a bookcase at the back that was quite tight. His eyes examined the titles printed in various types of letters on the back of a musty-smelling book.
From the corner of his eye Flo found another creature besides himself walking across the space between two shelves filled with old novels. Flo turned her head, immediately met the man she often saw sitting in the chair under the banyan tree in front of class X.5, which is her best friend class—Arina.
The man smiled politely, Flo replied. Then the two were again busy researching the book in their respective positions. Until a foreign voice greeted Flo's name.
"Flo... right?"
Flo turned her head, looking at the man who threw a smile at her less than three minutes ago. "Yes," he replied.
The man approached, his steps accompanying the sound of a fan that sounded increasingly bright. In close proximity, Flo can read the name on the label on the chest of the man's white shirt. His name is Genta Ghiffari. He was tall, slender, and had a haircut like most boys his age.
"Gue Genta" said the man, introducing himself. According to Flo, Genta looked nervous.
Flo nodded.
"Gue is the same class as Arina," Genta explained.
Flo nodded again. He already knows. For months, they have often passed each other without ever greeting each other.
Genta scratched his nape. "Gue can ask for help?"
"Solicit what please?" reply Flo.
"Gue wants to stamp books for Indonesian assignments, but do not bring a perpus card. Can pinjem have lo?" Genta glanced at the card hanging at the end of Flo's hand.
Flo follows the direction of Genta's glance. He also nodded. "Can." He gave her his library card.
After Genta accepted and thanked him, Flo immediately stepped away. He turned the direction because he was not sure to pass through a thin gap between Genta's shoulders and the bookshelf. Fear of physical contact makes it awkward.
There were no two steps Flo threw, a slow survey of his name again sounded from the direction he left. Flo turned away.
"Why?" tanya Flo is simple.
For the second time Genta approached. "Can you please again?" tanyakanya. And Flo could see the inner upheaval clearly drawn on Genta's face. Make her give a lip holding a smile. He thought Genta felt bad asking for help again.
"Yes can," thank Flo kindly.
"My friend.." Genta's words hung, as if unsure. "My friend," he repeated, "so nitip novel too. But I don't know which novel he wants..."
Flo's eyebrows shot up waiting for Genta to continue. He felt sorry to see the man look so uncomfortable. Flo doesn't mind helping. But I don't know why people often feel uncomfortable around him.
"May I give you a mobile phone for my friend?" pinta Genta fast. "Have I again pinned down friend."
Quickly, without a second thought Flo immediately sat down his phone. Surprisingly, it makes Genta rather gawky. The shoulder of the man who had been tense since then now seemed more relaxed.
"Hello, Rail?" Genta called. "What novel do you want? ... Okay, okay ..." Then Genta multiplied Flo's phone quickly. "Thank you" he said, smiling widely. He has an interesting smile. When smiling his gums look, make him look like a cheerful and pleasant person.
Flo nodded.
"Gue just saved my number on your phone, didn't you pa-pa?" Genta asked, stiff.
"No pa-pa."
"Eh. thanks."
"Make what?" tanya Flo didn't understand.
"Well.make... Thanks, anyway."
"Key..." Flo nodded in confusion, then smiled doubtfully. Show off a little dimple of his cheek.

The afternoon was windy. Flo breezed leisurely as he led his bicycle through the quiet streets of the complex. Hanging on a bicycle handlebar, the indomaret plastic bag is large in size.
Flo who still uses school uniforms although it is more relaxed with the tip of the shirt issued and a pair of flip-flops as his footwear, he said, you can see Arina talking to a man standing next to a dark blue scooter in front of her house. Flo recognized the man. She is Arina's classmate, also one of the most famous students in their school. Not only because it has a beautiful appearance and a black belt holder karate, but also because the man is the most diligent student running around the school field. That was Farrell Fadillah.
Flo turned to hear Arina's voice calling her name. He pulled over, approaching his friend.
"Where from?" arina asked, with her always cheerful face.
"Indomaret," Flo replied, having previously glanced at Farrell at a glance while confirming his hair was blown by the afternoon breeze. Actions that made him realize that Farrell was paying attention to him.
"Gue just got back from school, tired of paskib training," complained Arina without being asked. "It's a good thing that Farrell came home" he explained, although Flo said it was not necessary.
Flo smiled back faintly at Farrell— who smiled broadly in response to Arina's remark. Just like it seems, Farrell has two cheeks ready to be displayed when smiling.
"Good," Flo responded. He was indeed not good at chatting, so he only replied to him. At least he did not ignore the words of his interlocutors just like that.
"Gue's gonna catch up, huh? Mama with my Papa again to Eyang's house."
Flo nodded. "To the house."
"Sip." Arina gave her thumbs up. "But I'm a little late to your house, because you want to watch it first with Farrell. You want to come, don't you? We'll take Genta with us. Isn't that right, Rell?"
Dappers. The name of the student who had been conversing with him at the library earlier today, was mentioned.
Farrell nodded. "Gue is ngajak Genta."
Whether it's just Flo's feelings or it's true, she thinks Arina looks a little disappointed by Farrell's remarks.
"Tuh, Flo, come on!" Arina immediately controlled her expression.
"No, deh, thank you. I'm working on a presentation tomorrow."
"His return is , Flo," Arina persuaded.
"No, deh, Rin," said Flo. Knowing Arina's persuasion is true. "Yes, I've come home" said Arina. Then he gave a small nod to Farrell as a non-verbal parting form.
Flo continues on her way home next door. Just a few steps, he stopped because his phone was clinking. There's an incoming message.
Ghiffari Genta: Flo.
Genta Ghiffari: Tomorrow is his library card.
Flo replied with a 'yes' no less.
Genta Ghiffari: Okay.
Genta Ghiffari: What else? Not busy?
