The school had started to get quiet when Flo crossed the courtyard to go home. This is his habit. Go home when most of the students have probably reached home. This is because Flo likes to do PR first after class ends. This often made Arina upset. According to his best friend, he was too diligent and the fall became annoying. Therefore Arina never came home with him despite being single (if Arina's boyfriend is always on the shuttle). Flo does not matter, after all he always told Arina to go home first.
"Fuck!"
Flo stopped her steps, looking back. He found Genta half-running towards him.
"You're coming back together, aren't you?" genta asked, as soon as he arrived before Flo. Both went hand in hand.
"Don't take it, take some nicotine," Flo replied.
"Nerepotin coke," argued Genta, fast. "Lo lives near Arina's house, right?"
Flo nodded.
"Gue wants to go through there, so guys. No nicotine at all," Genta assures. "You, right?"
"Yes.huh, deh," Flo asserted. He had no reason to refuse anymore. It would be bad if he avoided Genta's invitation.
Genta laughs. "Don't be forced to do it dong, Flo. I'm not going to macem."
Flo's face flushed. He wagged his hand "Gak—gak that."
"Yes, yes."
Flo complained inwardly. He had reason to refuse Genta's invitation. Later on the road should talk about what try? The problem is that Genta is not a gojek brother who can Flo nod because it is his job to deliver customers. Well, Genta another thing, the man kindly drove him home, it would not be nice if Flo nodded.
"Why did you just come home?" ask Genta. "Pickets?"
"No," replied Flo. "Jain duty."
"Rajiiiin," sneered Genta.
"It's not. Afraid of not coming home."
"Busy is it.." said Genta.
"Busy lying down."
Genta laughs. Flo suspects the man thinks he's joking, but that's true. If it's at home Flo specialist rebahan if not ballet practice.
"Why did you come home?"
"So want the training padus only canceled because the coach suddenly had a business."
"Oh."
Arriving at the parking lot there are only a few motorcycles left, and one of them Flo recognizes as belonging to Farrell. So the guy hasn't come home yet? Are there any excurricular activities?
"This is Farrell's bike, right?" ask Flo.
Genta. "Yes," he added. He took the helmet that hung on the rearview scooter Farrell and then presented it to Flo.
"Eh," Flo didn't pick up Genta's helmet, "Emang no pa-pa?"
"What?" genta asked confusedly.
"Helmnya," replied Flo plainly. "How does he want to go home?"
Twice. Already twice Flo count Genta laughed because of his words. He understood that earlier might sound like a joke, but what just tickled try?
"Farrell's back home, from the second lesson."
"Stupid?" guess Flo.
Genta. "It's normal Monday." He wiggles the helmet in his hand, signaling Flo to accept him immediately. "Monday is too much for Farrell's mind and brain."
Flo finally got the helmet. "Why indeed?" tanyanya wearing a helmet.
"Because today's lesson is math, chemistry, religion, geography, the same" explained Genta. He rode his motorbike and turned it outwards.
"Oh chemistry," said Flo sadly. Chemistry is fun.
Flo rises behind Genta, holding both of his shoulders as a pedestal. You see, the Genta motor is not a scooter like Farrell's. Genta's ninja motor makes it a bit difficult to ride. Not to mention her short skirt so slightly raised.
Flo does not understand whether Genta is already accustomed to this situation or he is a sensitive type, because the man did not immediately drive a motorcycle, instead he took off the jacket he was wearing. He looked back and put on the jacket.
"Grandpa nih make nutupin lo skirt."
Genta smiles. "Gue is grateful."
Flo cringing. "Make?"
The clapper is back facing forward. "You want antherin" he said. And the motor drove suddenly, Flo who was not ready to jerk and reflexes grabbed Genta's waist.
As soon as he regained consciousness, Flo hurriedly untied his grip. Then he fell silent, suddenly heartburn. Reflexes are not good.
"Flo" Genta spoke after they drove down a crowded highway.
"Yes?"
"Next week I'm with Arina invited to go with Farrell, you want to come?" ask Genta. He sounds suspicious.
Flo did not answer. In one day he was invited twice in this event. He knew he did not deserve to feel this way, but he could not deny there was an unpleasant feeling approaching him when invited just so that Arina was happy, like an compulsion to invite him.
"Why?" Anticipate a similar answer to Farrell this afternoon.
"What?" Genta confusion.
"Why are you taking me?"
"Because we're friends... right?"
Stunned Flo. Genta considered him a friend. Her friend, not Arina's friend.
"You don't mind if I consider you a friend" Genta added hurriedly.
Flo smiled. "Why should I mind?"
"Yes.you're X.1, I'm X.5. Hierarchy of intelligence."
"I'm not as sintered as you're imagining," Flo responded with a ruckus. Just because he is in a favorite class, people often misunderstand him as clever, even though he is ordinary. Really am.
"But it must be smarter than me."
Flo didn't reply. It's really awkward to talk about.
"So.. 'how?" ask Genta, make sure.
"I don't mind being your friend."
Motor speed died down. They stopped when the traffic signs turned red.
Flo sees Genta looking at him through the rearview mirror. Then the man said, "That means 'yes', right?"
Flo nodded.

With the earphones attached to the ears while the phone in hand, Flo sat on a chair on the veranda of the house. Leelha. His thumb moved in a fixed frequency and speed, sliding the phone's screen. Nothing he really saw. Just don't have a job. I also want to teach.
Flo raised her eyes when she saw the movement. And got Fabian—his stepbrother—loos relaxed. The guy looks messy. He did not reprimand Flo who looked at him in confusion, just kept coming into the house.
Flo knows it is still a semester break for students/students, but only late last month Fabian left for Malang and there are no signs of going home anytime soon. Moreover, Fabian does not like to go home if it is not really urgent. The reason was simple, Fabian did not like his mother and half-sister. So why is Fabian coming home now? And this spurt? Arina who had a crush on Fabian, if she saw his appearance now might be a thanksgiving because she could move on.
Flo climbs when the earphones still hanging in her ears are pulled roughly. And a question demanding to attack him, "Where are you going?"
"Shop." Flo fixed his sitting position. Worrying at his brother.
"Neither money, nor labor," said Fabian.
"Why did the tumben come home?"
"Like guelah! This is my home—kalo lo forgot. And don't be pretentious to call 'sister'. I'm not your brother!"
Flo's speechless. He should not have tried to be friendly. Seven years should have taught him that it was for nothing. As hard as he believes that one day his stepbrother will want to consider him a sister, as hard as it is also the fact that it will not happen.
"Tell me to nyokap lo later, transfer me money. No need to go to Papa," said Fabian, then passed.
Flo exhales. So far he has been patient. Although before Fabian went to college and still living at home, he really wanted to go. His stepbrother was always rude to him and his mother. Not only that, during his naughty days, Fabian was once very terrible. Stealing his savings and Mama's money, spying on him and Mama, as well as all the other bad treatment. Until it felt like Flo wanted to do something about Fabian, or at least take his mother away. But in the end it all passed when Fabian went to college outside the city. And the house became quieter.
Flo was just about to lean her back, but the sound of a foreign horn disturbed her. He looked towards the gate, finding a man riding a blue scooter staring at him. He thought that the man had stopped by quite often in his boring life lately.
