The battalion is a government defense agency that houses the TNI AD. Having a reliable soldier is the ideals of the TNI, so in order to achieve these ideals, the role of the wife as a companion of TNI AD is absolutely necessary. The presence of women as wives in the battalion, then requires women to obey the various rules in it. The three rules that became the focus of this study were the ability of the wife to follow the Family Planning program, follow the Kartika Kartika Kartika Kartika Kirana Persit Organization and follow the husband living in a military dormitory. Using theories and research methods from a female perspective, the study sought to uncover the lives of women in military cultures that adhere to a hierarchical system. This research is descriptive qualitative. The research was conducted at the Batlyon Infantry 403 dormitory in Yogyakarta with a case study on the Persit Organization LIX Branch Infantry Battalion 403. The data collection technique was conducted by in-depth interviews with six informants, observation and documentation of data related to battalion regulations.

The role of a wife of the Indonesian National Army is very important in determining the success of the husband in carrying out duties. The wife is always ready to support her husband. Indirect military life pressures can cause mental or psychological problems in the families of soldiers. This study explores the meaning of the experience of soldiers' wives (TNI-AD) who live in battalions when the husband is serving in conflict-prone areas. Research design uses qualitative methods with an interpretive phenomenology approach. The data collection was conducted with in-depth interviews on 6 participants, namely the wife of the army in accordance with the research criteria. The results of the study were analyzed using IPA (Interpretive Phenomenological Analysis). This study produces 7 themes, namely Gundah hear the husband assigned, understand the assignment of the husband, Feel proud but worried when the husband is on duty, Facing the suffering of his father as a soldier's wife, Difficulty replacing the role of the father in caring for children, and, Obtained security protection from the Battalion, and adapted to difficult conditions. Providing facilities for the fulfillment of psychological or psychiatric needs, which can improve the inner well-being of the wives by providing guidance and motivation on how to strive for a healthy soul
