Ghost Hunt: Panic in the Country
Vol. 0: I Lost | 11. Bena vs Tiora

They had been in front of the multi-storey building that looked very old. They walked through the gate and met the owner of the building. The owner explained a little about the building. There were even some complaints from apartment tenants. Some of the tenants also chose to move from the place, but there are still some who survive. After a long explanation they immediately entered the apartment building.

It all felt very quiet without a bright light. The lights turn on and turn back off alternately. Everyone was in their own homes and chose to rest themselves. Together with his two friends, Rei went through each floor of the apartment. They also attached a paper containing incantations, so that the spirits do not disturb the apartment contained in the occupants.

A few minutes passed and they had cast all the spells. They began to split up to find a ghost figure who likes to disturb. In the middle of the silence of the night with the occasional sound of vehicles. Rei was on the 10th floor and alone. They communicate with each other using a black HT headset attached to each other's ears. A few minutes had passed, but the awaited had not yet appeared until the surrounding air instantly turned a little hot.

Rei gave instructions to both of his friends to be more careful and increase alertness, until the sound of footsteps was very echoing in the middle of this silence. Rei walked away from where he stood towards a rung of stairs. Climb the stairs one by one slowly while listening to footsteps that sound like moving away from the 11th floor and continue to climb up to be on the fourteenth floor. The sound of the step was instantly inaudible and only a small air touched Rei's skin. Rei looked around who had been filled with a slightly grayish black mist. Rei prepared with the sword that was in his left hand and would be pulled by the right hand.

Not long after, a large black shadow figure was seen walking towards the hall where Rei was standing. The figure stopped right at a distance of 10 meters from Rei who was standing. Rei noticed the figure with a serious face and gave the information to his two teammates. Rei began to pull the sword from its place and would prepare to attack. However, the figure disappeared quickly. Now it was right in front of Rei who was only 30 centimeters away.

With a split second, the figure pointed the clenched right hand exactly 1 centimeter from Rei's stomach. It made Rei bounced away from where he stood, until he hit a steel wall and fell down by holding a stomach in pain. The voices of Rei's two friends sounded so worried about him. It was very difficult for Rei to try to stand up. Rei drew the sword quickly, a silver-colored and dazzling sword in the dark of the night. The figure immediately changed to resemble a human.

“It looks like he is at level 2.” said Rei who remained standing with vigilance.

“I can't get there, here is also one figure.” One of them answered in the middle of the fight.

“Here too,” reply others.

“Ha, I guess the coming one is stronger than me. It turns out you are still under me,” said the figure.

“Then I apologize for not meeting your expectations, but don't you underestimate your opponent too much.” Rei spoke so calmly and tried to dispel his fear.

As the silver sword gleamed, three different figures appeared and stood right behind Rei. With a quick movement the two of them drew swords together. Rei called out the name of one of the people who made a contract with him, Emily. A 16-year-old female figure who has the ability to bind enemies using tree roots. Within seconds Emily had become one and was in Rei's body. They attack each other without anyone giving in until Rei hits the wall again. Rei is back to changing fast with Hugo, a 20-year-old male figure who has dimensional and time abilities.

It had everyone in the apartment removed, only the building was left and became a fighting arena. Hugo again exchanged with a figure named Riano who is 20 years old and has a stocky body. The two of them fought back to make the walls become damaged. For the umpteenth time, Rei was again thrown very far to penetrate several walls. With wounds on his body, Rei tried to stand back up. This makes Emily, Hugo and Riano disappear instantly. The laughter of the figure in front of Rei sounded extremely loud by starting to slowly walk over to him. The figure removed the sword and extended a hand.

A red light shot out rapidly towards Rei, but as the distance thinned. Rei saw the figure of a small child standing in front of him. In an instant he was covered in a protector with the little boy. Rei put on a surprised face with widened eyes. As he looked at the figure of the little boy in front of him with an attempt to protect Rei from the attack. A huge explosion echoed along with a bright red light. A second later some of the walls were smashed into pieces.

“What brother injured?” ask the boy.

“One bully came,” said the figure who fought Rei.

“Tiora, sorry that I have interfered. However, I have a goal of appearing here.” The boy walked away from Rei and still maintained a protective circle. The boy transformed into an adult figure in his all-black clothes.

“Ha, you came to take care of that weak woman. It's funny, you agreed to join and turned out to be a traitor. Are you also going to destroy me?” tiora said with one question.

“That's none of your business,” the answer is short.

“You really Bena .... All right, I'll be serious about fighting you. Although you are only a child.” Tiora spoke with a wry smile on her face.

However, Bena did not open his voice at all. Bena simply put on an expressionless face by raising a silver sword in his right hand. The sword glowed for a few seconds. They are Emily, Hugo, and Riano. A small smile was painted on Tiora's face as she looked back at the three of them.

“Ah, so, you are the original contract holder.” Tiora spoke with a happy smile, but it looked terrible. A while later Tiora let out her laughter.

A second later, the two of them clashed their swords together, causing the wind around them to appear. They fought each other very seriously without caring about the damage made.  Emily, Hugo, and Raino have the task of staying near Rei. In an instant Bena was able to dodge the fist attacks and kicks from Tiora. The sword in his right hand disappeared in the blink of an eye, until a root appeared in both of Bena's hands. It quickly elongated and bound Tiora's body, but all of it was useless since Tiora could release it without any difficulty at all.

Bena continued to attack Tiora without giving up, until his entire body looked very exhausted and full of injuries. Bena's breath sounded so breathless with his body half bent. The body of his adult figure disappeared instantly and now Bena turned into a 14-year-old child. Similarly, Tiora who was standing half-steady. Tiora's breathing sounded rough and kept going up and down to try to normalize it, until it felt a little better. Tiora put a thin smile on her face by giving a look to Bena who was still struggling with her tired breath.

“You do look strong, but your strength has reached its limit. Surrender and move out of my sight. Don't block my way,” said Tiora walking to pass Bena. However, when Tiora had been one step behind Bena. A painted and shining pattern wrapped around the two of them.

“I am indeed exhausted, but I still have my last energy.” Bena said so casually.

“What is your goal, participate in this movement. Everything you do becomes futile,” Tiora said with a serious face.

“Since I died, you have even taken me. Harness my concerns for my two brothers for your benefit. You bind me with my feelings. At least, before I go. I can see my brother.” Bena made a sound with her flat face. Bena walked out of the circle with slow steps.
