Ghost Hunt: Panic in the Country

Ghost Hunt: Panic in the Country
Vol. 0: I Lost | 18. Two Strangers

However, to get lunch at the Bhiaka residence is not easy. They had to clean the entire house that was right behind the noodle shop. Two hours passed and they had completed the cleaning task. With a happy face they sat in the noodle shop and ate 2 bowls of chicken seasoning noodles. Once the stomach was filled, they returned to the library to read the books again.

They spent the rest of the day until night picking up. Astan put a smile on his face as he finished all the books in front of him. Endra wrote all the books he read. They walked down the silent night streets. Along the way, Endra keeps raving about his teacher and gets upset.

“Why should I also read in the library, you will be trained not me. I pray, you will be fine trained by him.” Endra patted Astan on the back several times.

“What is Guru Bhiaka as scary as that?” ask Astan.

“He talks a lot, but if he's serious. The world will be destroyed,” Endra replied greatly exaggerating it. Astan who heard Endra say that, just showed off a small laugh.

“Why laugh? I'm serious,” said Endra back with his pouting face.

“I know, you love him very much. From the way you interact and tell about Guru Bhiaka. It seems like he is like a father figure to you,” Astan said by staring at the starless night sky.

They had arrived at the bus stop and parted ways by boarding different vehicles. Astan just sits quietly in the very corner, a place where he can see the entire contents of the bus.  After passing through several stops, Astan exited when the bus stopped in district B-4. Astan walked in silence without putting on any expression, until he felt that someone was following him.

However, Astan kept walking in peace and pretended not to realize that he was being followed. Astan stopped as he caught a male figure dressed in a heart-red robe walking towards him. While from behind, a long-haired blonde woman ran towards Astan and stood to her left.

“When we will invite you to join our organization, but you have joined G-Hunt. Ha, I won't get a bonus like this. All this because of Taine, he's too relaxed.” The woman chattered with a sullen face. The woman turned her body and saw the look of Astan's face which was just silent.

“Are you afraid of us?” ask the woman, but Astan does not chim in or answer her. The man in a heart-red robe stopped about two meters from the position Astan was standing, he also asked the woman to stand nearby.

“It seems you are not afraid at all, just calm down. We're not gonna do anything. I'm just here to check on the people who need to be recruited. It's a pity that you've joined them. Somehow, I was so happy when you didn't get recruited.” The man said with a happy smile on his face.

“Kak. Taine, you shouldn't be happy. We can't get the bonus,” said the woman with a pouting face.

“Money can be found,” timpal the man named Taine.

“The volume is very high, even we can pay the apartment for 6 months.” The woman said again without giving up.

“Ya already, we persuade him to enter our organization.” Taine finally gave up on the decision he had been thinking about from the start.

“It's too late," said the woman said with great emphasis and melengos not wanting to see Taine's face. With full struggle Taine still trying to keep the woman not angry.

Astan who saw the scene in front of him could only be silent. After Taine stops persuading, he asks Astan to quit the G-Hunt organization. However, Astan refused very hard. Hearing Astan's reply, Taine had prepared with her right hand that was about to take out something.

However, the woman stopped him quickly and put on a serious face.  Asking Taine to duck, in just seconds. The woman hit Taine on the head very hard. Makes Taine complain of pain and want to protest, but she is the one who got the death rage. After all the anger, the woman went away.

“Since the beginning I did not intend to do my job. He who keeps insisting to do it, let's meet at another time.” After saying with a serious tone and face, Taine walked away.

Astan, still confused, stepped back home. Arriving at Astan's apartment, he tells Cakara what just happened. Only he was still waiting for Astan to come home, but Cakara's response was very mediocre and not surprised at all.

“That's normal, rumors about you make them curious. They can check if you are really weak or you hide it,” explained Cakara who was eating fresh and cold watermelon.

“How do they check it?” ask Astan.

“Torturing you,” Reply Quickly. Which made Astan put on his surprised face. The speaker who saw Astan was surprised just smiled slightly and left him without saying anything. Astan sighed for a while, after which he went to rest without taking a bath.

The next morning, Astan had prepared with a very striking dark blue sportswear. This makes invisible friends just shake their heads. Astan excitedly left the apartment.

Of course with those who insist on coming. Arriving Astan at Guru Bhiaka's residence, he ran around the courtyard of the house. Astan's breathing began to sound heavy, his legs were squeezed, but he would not stop and still run, until Bhiaka came with a cane. Astan saw it for a while and resumed running activities. After Astan reached 50 rounds, he stopped and flopped down on the grass. Pulling and exhaling slowly, trying to normalize the heart.

A hand pointed a bottle of mineral water at Astan. Astan took it and gulped it down until there was not a drop left.  Astan smiled slightly as he looked at Endra's face, he stood up with some difficulty. Now they sat on the iron floor for an hour's rest, gazing at the clear blue sky with the white clouds.

“Beautiful day,” said Endra, breaking this silence.

“The sky is very friendly, but the sun is very hot,” Timpal Astan by waving his sports shirt.

“After this, you will feel a strenuous workout. Keep the spirit,” said Endra, put yourself to sleep on the ceramic floor.

An hour passed, Astan stood up and approached Bhiaka who had prepared some used car tires. After listening to Bhiaka's words, Astan immediately did his command. Back to running by pulling three tires of cars that are tied to each other.

He had to go through the training all day by running around the yard until the sun had made its way to the contest. With sweat drenching his entire body, Astan walked up to Endra and sat himself down.

Not long after, Bhiaka came and asked them to head to the noodle shop. Now they are eating noodle soup with some side dishes, but not with friends who just watch Astan. A few minutes later, all the food at the table had been exhausted and there was not the slightest bit left.

“Tomorrow come alone, don't invite them. I'd like to test you before further training. Do not forget, clean everything before going home,” said Bhiaka, go leave them. After Bhiaka's departure, they cleaned all the dishes. He cleansed with calm. However, not with Endra who continues to issue his oath of absorption.

A few minutes later they cleaned it all up. They walked out with a feeling of relief clearly visible on the faces of the two. They parted ways by taking different buses. Along the way, Astan only listened to Cakara and his friends who were not fed at all.

“Please, until home I will cook for you.” Astan spoke and made them stop chattering.

A few minutes later the bus stopped, and Astan immediately walked out and went home. Arriving at the apartment, Astan heads to the kitchen, removing some ingredients to cook chicken soup. In about 30 minutes, all the food is ready. They were very happy when they saw the awaited food, without waiting any more. They ate the food that Astan had made. While Astan just sat watching them with a small smile on his face.

“Do you guys like that?” ask Astan.

“We are always hungry when we see people eating, but no one is feeding us. So, sometimes we find our own food with the little money we can,” said Yeni with still chewing food.

“Ah, when you become a spirit that cannot reach it. What do you guys work for?” ask Astan.

“It depends also, there are making contracts with humans. There are also those who work to disturb bad children. They tend to hang out on roadside, forests, gardens, and other places.” Yeni answered Astan's question quickly.

“Don't you say G-Hunt's job is to drive away the bad guys, so why are you bothering?” ask Astan again.

“That's bothering for good, just imagine. They hang out until night, alone with the opposite sex. Ah, my goodness. Just-there's. I mean evil spirits, they interfere in the wrong places and for bad things.” Yeni replied with a memory recall of the time when she had to chase away the children.

“Ah, so it's pointless there's this organization. They like to keep two different worlds,” Astan said with understanding, although he had previously received many explanations from Yeni. He kept asking again just to confirm his understanding.

“There is no peaceful world without problems. Evil and good is a counterbalance to the world, whether it is the spirit world or humans though,” said Hugo who had finished his meal.

“Truely, you will know if it has started working,” said Yeni by finishing his meal.
