Ghost Hunt: Panic in the Country

Ghost Hunt: Panic in the Country
Vol. 0: I Lost | 6. Falsehood

Astan walked through the deserted hallways, he rushed in and headed for the bedroom without cleaning himself first. He approached the bed and lay down with a cell phone. Even Astan ignored the sounds that continued to be heard, until the blue sky picked up the orange. He turned off the fast phone and looked at the pale-faced female figure standing right in front of Astan. He looked at the pale face of the woman with great pity.

“What is it? What would you like to ask for help?” ask Astan with a serious face.

“Please tell my family to let me down," the woman replied quietly.

“Then, how did you die? Is it just because of that?” ask Astan back.

“I don't remember at all, but they always feel sad every day. I have to how?” said the woman with a cry that began to sound. Astan was silent when he heard the woman's answer.

“Wa, you are already getting proficient.” The male voice sounded so clearly. Make them turn their attention to the man who is sitting at the desk studying.

“I'm not good at doing these things, I'm just asking.” Astan chimed in on the man's words quickly.

“First, the first time you can see again. You look still scared, it seems that now it is no longer,” said the man.

“Who is he?” ask the woman.

“My name is Cakara, I am the guardian of this child.” Cakara answered quickly, making the woman just nod her head slowly.

“What's your name? You must remember, right?” ask Cakara.

“My name is Yeni.” Yeni replied with a smile on her face.

The three of them were swept away in a very exciting chat until time passed quickly, Astan came down from the bed rushing to clean himself while filling his empty stomach. Not long after, Astan again just wearing a towel on the waist. Making half of her body visible, the female spirit named Yeni looked on without blinking. With a slight discomfort, Astan wears quick clothes. He walked towards the bed, resting his body as comfortably as possible. However, he sat himself back down and gave a look to Yeni.

“Why are you looking at me like that?” asked Astan, still looking at him.

“Because you look dazzling with a nice body shape.” Yeni replied with a flirtatious smile on her face. Instantly Cakara's laughter broke when he heard Yeni's words.

“Why? Is that wrong?” ask Yeni, make Cakara stop laughing.

“You must remember that you are a ghost. Yeni, remember that.” Cakara replied with a smile that restrained laughter.

“I just love his body shape,” Yeni said later.

“Originally you know, she since childhood has always been shunned by every woman. Even until now, but she is liked by the ghost figure.” Cakara spoke with a loud laugh ending.

“Can you shut up! I want to sleep.” Astan spoke without a smile. He lay down his body and put down the blanket. The two of them instantly fell silent in their respective places. Not a single one moved or went away until a gentle snoring was heard by the two.

“I know you remember everything, why did you lie to her?” Cakara asked with a serious and cold face.

Yeni could only be silent in a few seconds she lowered her head upon hearing the question until a small smile was painted on her face. He raised his head and gave a look to Cakara.

“It looks like you don't need to know it.” Yeni said and will leave the room soon.

“Because you asked for his help, I have to know why you lied.” Cakara overcame him quickly, making Yeni undo the intention of his departure.

“He just needs to make my family no longer sad. For the rest, I'll take care of it myself.” Yeni replied again to Cakara's words and hurried away. Cakara gave a look to Astan who had fallen asleep.

Slowly the wind made the room windows slightly creak. The curtain cloth moved for a while, Cakara walked towards the window and closed it without touching. Cakara's pair of eyes stared at the darkness of the sky, without a single star accompanying the moon. Cakara can feel the wind blowing with a little big. Lightning came along with a rumbling sound, slowly the rain fell so heavily. That made Astan tighten the blanket worn. Cakara looked at Astan for a while and tightly closed the curtain cloth. Cakara left the room to rest herself.

Mentari greeted warmly, Astan had put on neat clothes and finished his breakfast. After saying goodbye, she rushes out of the apartment with Yeni to meet her sister. Astan takes the same bus to Santya Academy. Not long after the bus stopped, Astan went out and entered the university. Astan asks some people about Yeni's younger sister and she has to go to the library. When Astan arrived in front of the library. With a bit of clumsiness, Astan walked into the library, greeting the guard first. He also wrote down the name in the guest list book and got a few questions.

After that, he went down the shelves. Immediately reading every book title he encountered, a small smile could be clearly seen on his face. Although Astan is very fond of playing games, the library is the second favorite place after the Internet Cafe. Astan stopped stepping while in front of a special bookcase of Psychological Science. He picked up one of the books with a white cover. Astan moved away and looked for an empty seat, until he accidentally caught a woman. The woman sat alone with some books at the table. Astan walked up to her and asked for permission to sit at the same table.

When he got the permission, Astan sat right in front of the woman. Astan began to open the sheets per sheet of the book. Reading each sentence with great focus, Cakara and Yeni continued to speak right in both ears. Instant closed the slightly thick looking book, she looked at the woman in front of her for a bit long. It made the woman return Astan's gaze.

“What's up?” asked the woman with an expressionless face, making Astan only speechless and voiceless.

“From yesterday you looked at me, is something wrong?” the woman asked the question back.

“Who are you? Why do you know my sister?” The woman did not answer and asked a question.

“I'm just an acquaintance and I heard that Yeni is gone. What exactly happened?” Astan answered willingly, without taking issue with the woman's attitude.

“Where do you know?” ask the woman without giving Astan an answer.

“Social media," replied Astan.

“Oh, what's your name?” tanyanya back.

“Astan,” reply Instant with small smile.

“We better talk somewhere else. My name is Nika,” replied a woman named Nika who was cleaning her books.

With a thin smile Astan helped Nika clean up the books. Put on each shelf according to the title of the book and its type. After finishing dealing with the books, they immediately came out. Without saying anything, Astan followed Nika's steps. Passing through the hallway that began to be crowded until they had been in the park behind the campus. Although Astan did not understand why he had to speak in a quiet garden.

“Are you really friends, sister. The yeni? Speak honestly.” Nika asked Astan again.

“Ha, actually I can't say this. I can see them and my sister. Yeni is one of them. Sorry for lying earlier.” Astan spoke slowly and regretfully at heart.

“Are you serious? You can really see?” ask Nika back.

“Ya,” reply Instant short.

“Alright, I'll tell you about my brother's death. This is about two months ago, my brother was found in his room in all-black clothes. His hair was very messy, his face was very pale, and according to the doctor. A heart attack was the cause of her death, but my brother had absolutely no history of any disease.” Nika paused the story for a moment, taking the backpack behind her back. Nika took out a small notebook and gave it to Astan.

“It belongs to my brother. All the writing contained a password, but I couldn't crack it at all. I also have a friend like you. He said that my brother died because of something unnatural. Too bad he couldn't help me. Can you help us? Find out who did that? And please tell my brother, that I'm really sorry.” Nika spoke at length and was only replied by Astan's thin smile.

“Your brother said, so that you do not grieve anymore and accept his death. You don't have to apologize either, it's not your fault. That's what it says,” said Astan. With a faint smile on his face. Nika who heard that started putting a smile on her face and heaved a sigh of relief.

“Thank you, I'll talk about this with my dad and mom. Once again ...” The ringing sound of the phone made Nika not continue her speech. Nika reached into the small pocket in the backpack, picking up the black-colored phone. Nika picked up the phone and quickly finished it.

“Sorry, I have to go now.” Nika said with an unpleasant face.

“Alright,” says Astan.
