Adi's feelings have been unsettled since she was inside Momcare's store. He felt like someone was watching him and Adelia. Adelia's husband repeatedly observed the situation outside the store, but did not find a suspicious figure.

"People stabbed? Have you called the police and the hospital?"

He gasped at the sight of his wife lying covered in blood. She approached Adelia without speaking to her best friend again, who was waiting for her across the phone.

"Ai, Ai, get up, Ai," she called out as she hugged the wife's body. His world stopped turning. She can't afford to lose Adelia and her future son.

"Di, Adi," called the Emperor loudly across the phone which made Adi regain consciousness. Fortunately he had activated the loud speaker so he could hear the call of the police.

"Kai, Adel stabbed people. Please quickly call an ambulance here" Adi said with a trembling voice restraining emotions.

"I called an ambulance. Me and my men will be there soon. On what floor, Di?"

"Floor 1, Kai." Adi called and hugged his wife. He didn't care if his clothes were red because of his wife's blood.

"Ai, wake. Don't leave me. Who would dare hurt you, Ai? I'll make the same calculation with him" Adi said as she patted Adelia's cheek gently.

"Mas A—di," said Adelia to her husband as soon as she heard Adi's voice in between her thinning consciousness.

"Yes, Ai. I'm right here. Who could do this to you, Ai?"

"Se—kar" said Adelia before losing consciousness.

"Ai, look, Ai." Adi patted his wife's cheek again, but Adelia did not react. It made him feel desperate and angry at the same time.

"Dark! This time you won't let me get away," growled Adi with a reddened face in anger.

Soon Kai and several members of his unit came along with the medical team from the hospital located east of the Emperor's office, not far from the mall location just across the street. Adelia was handled deftly by the medical team. Members of the Emperor's unit immediately put up a police line there. It then began investigating by asking witnesses for information, including viewing and copying CCTV footage inside the toilet and in the hallway.

"Di, I'm sorry about Adelia." The emperor patted his best friend on the shoulder.

Adi felt calmer after talking to his mother. He returned to the room where his wife had been dealt with.

"How's my wife doing, Doc?" adi asked as soon as he met with the doctor who handled Adelia.

"Alhamdulillah the condition of the father's wife is quite stable. But still have to get intensive care. There were seven stab wounds all over the mother's body. Fortunately, the puncture was not too deep so it did not hurt his internal organs" explained the doctor.

Adi breathed a sigh of relief. "Alhamdulillah. Then the condition of the womb and our prospective child how, Doc?"

"As I said, the internal organs are not injured, so the mother's womb and the condition of the fetus are fine."

"Thank God, thank you, Doc. Can I see my wife?"

"For a while not yet, as it still dealt with his injuries. Later after that, they were transferred to the hospital room. You can wait in the waiting room first. Maybe tomorrow there will be a party from the police who come to ask for the results of the mother's visa because we have to be really careful."

"Alhamdulillah. I'm relieved. We have processed the TKP and checked the CCTV, it turns out Sekar has been following Adel since he came out of the store."
