My hands clenched hard, staring annoyedly at the reflection of the mirror. I can do it, I'm just like Kai. How do I learn? We will continue to fight!
Ahhh. This is, uh, shit semester. So want to go home and confide in Arsya. Hixes.
My phone's vibrating. I reached into the bag of skirts and found a message from Salma telling me to come to the cafeteria.
I inhaled a deep breath, then threw it away slowly. I can handle this, I know. After feeling better, I immediately slid to the place where Hani and Salma were.
"Which salma?" I asked Hani who was sitting alone. I sat next to him and wagged the uniform collar, sultry.
"For food." The answer. Then Hani brought her face closer and whispered. "Va, how? When did you get together?"
"This one is rich."
"Seriously?" Eyes rounded. "Gue's coming, yeah. Pleases. You just take me to join them, and then hand me over to me." Pinta Hani is full of hope. His eyes did not blink, waiting for my answer.
"D-yes."
"Yasshhhh!!!" Hani hugged me with her sweet smile. "Thank you, Va."
"Trump. What's up, huh?" Salma came with a tray containing two bowls of meatballs in it.
"This, Hani-"
"Ga there's nothing. We told a story about the holidays. Yeah, right?" Hani's eyebrows rose with a pushy smile, giving the code I understood, he wanted to cover it up.
"Hm."
"Oh, kirain what. Uh, Va. What class are you in?" Salma asked, pouring soy sauce and sausage into her meatball.
"YP2. You're at IPS, right?"
"H 'em. I'm IPS3, Hani IPS2."
I heard Salma's reply.
"Vita's rich in IPS3, Ma." Chirp Hani.
"Ga knows me. Don't care either." His answer was to put the fruit in his mouth.
Vita's in IPS, huh? I think he's going to follow Arsya to the IPA.
"Eh, Arsya!" Salma's chin points to Arsya coming in with Danu and Zaki.
"It wasn't that you were rammed by Arsya at the time, was it Va? It's so nice to know idols." Hani smiled wryly, for what reason. "Eh, but the rich guy who wears that hat is my class, deh."
What Hani meant was Zaki. Arsya's game-like friend also entered IPS apparently.
"Va, go home to school we play, yuk. No more promises to Juna, right?" Ask Salma to me.
I'm shaking. "Ga is, really. Where you going?"
"Watch how?" Salma's Proposal.
"Can."
"Eh-huh, just a moment. Is it not. lo have a promise with brother Juna? He said you want to get him, right? Yeah, right?" Hani nudged my feet under the table. Code again if I promise to bring him to join Vita's group. But why should gini secretly, anyway.
"Eum. Ja. I forgot, Ma."
"yeah. That's it, yeah." Salma suddenly lethargic. "What about afternoon or evening?"
"Lo, is there no activity?" Ask Hani. Somewhat confused why Salma suddenly raved so much to gather.
"Bokap nyokap me again out of town. I was alone until midnight. How can you both, right?" Salma asked again, staring at me and Hani alternately with eyes that resembled a hungry cat expecting food on the master.
"Can, really." I answered, and Hani nodded.
"OK, deh."
"Siipp's. We will discuss it via group."
Kak Juna had a chat, if he was already in the field and waiting for me to catch up with him. Next to me was Hani, wrapping her arms around mine. We walked hand in hand with Hani's smile that had not faded since earlier. Maybe he was very happy to be gathered with a group that he thought was shining.
It's Vita. He sat down with cheers friends. Kak Juna is playing basketball with Arsya, Kai, Hajoon, and others.
"Va, we'll sit there." Bisik Hani, set his gaze to the bench under the tree.
I lazily set foot there. I saw a basketball bag on the table.
"Hi, Va." Sapa Vita's. Waving a small hand at me. I reply with a small smile.
I sat near them. And Hani took a position, making a distance to sit with me so that he could get close to Vita.
"Vita, right? IPS2, huh?"
Hani starts the action. I just kept my phone open to cover the shame.
Hufft. Why the hell, Hani sampe ngelakuin all this. He knows that Vita is not friends with many people. He's obviously a voter. It's not that I'm ignoring Hani, it's just that Vita has a high social class.
"Hey. This is your drink, yeah!" Shouted someone then put a few bottles of orange juice on the table right in front of me.
I caught a glimpse of the basketball kids stopping and walking up to the table.
"I'm Hani, class IPS3."
I put an ear. I want to know how Hani approached them.
"Ariva."
I raised my head, finding Brother Juna sitting next to me with sweat flooding his body. He picked up a bottle of water and swallowed it.
Kai too. Grabbing a bottle in front of me while looking sharp like a dull needle that was deliberately shown to me.
You freak!
"So there's a blind man, you may ask for my help."
I heard Hani's words, while trying to focus on Kak Juna.
"Sore I'll find a gift, yeah. Make mama. So I want to go with you to help melihitin. Can, right?" Brother Juna put his juice bottle near me, asking me to taste it.
"Gue has been chatting, Vit. You can call me at that number." Hani said again.
"Ariva?"
"Ah, yes, sis. Emm... afternoon, huh? I don't think I can, brother. I have a promise with you. How, huh?" I'm getting confused. Want to accompany brother Juna but first promise with Salma.
"No, I'll hang out here."
I turned my head, watching Hani who was really getting closer. And Vita's response was friendly too. It's different from what people have been saying all along. Maybe it's because I don't know each other.
"Yes, I'm playing again."
I nodded as Brother Juna moved back towards the field.
"Lo sit here and take care of my bag, yeah."
Start off. I looked up, staring dislikefully at Kai who was standing next to me. The sweaty body and the sun-red face pissed me off right from the start.
"Haha. Yes, Vit. Really good." Hani responded to their jokes well. He turned out to be able to blend in with fun, different from me who is stiff.
I don't know why I'm upset. I grabbed Juna's bottle and chugged him.
"Hey. That's my drink."
"Puff!" I accidentally spit out when it turns out I took the wrong bottle of water that apparently belongs to Kai. But damn, the spray even dirty Kai's clothes.
Kai, obviously he's wide-eyed looking at me. Seemed to refrain from cursing. But from his eyes, I knew he really, really disliked me.
Die me...
