After walking for half an hour, the car stopped in a row of very tall buildings.
Seriously here? I spread the view. Hajoon got out of the car.
"Cochere?" I asked, following Hajoon stepped towards one of the tallest buildings among others.
"Nyampe is also lo." Kai was waiting for us in front of the entrance.
"Where was it?" My toot.
"Above."
I'm looking. It's really high. I watched until I realized Hajoon and Kai had left me.
"Va, come on!" Shouted Kai, and I ran after him.
It's office hours away, so this location is quite quiet. There are only a few guards and overtime employees.
We got into the elevator. Kai pressed the number 21 and this small box room went up to the top floor.
After arriving, it turns out to have to use fingerprints and iris scans of the eye. Well, this is crazy. To get in has to be that tight. Maybe this is why Kai was waiting for us outside.
"Vaaa!"
As usual, Karin greeted cheerfully as I came. His hand waved me closer.
The wind gently hit her face. Up here, it looks like an outdoor cafe with a fabulous interior.
"Liatin what, the hell."
Karin pointed at the small objects below us. Yeah, a row of cars at red lights.
"Funny, rich toy car." He said while laughing.
"Kai, what is this?" I asked Kai who had stuff on the table with Hajoon.
"Rooftop garden. Plan anyway, bokap want to make this a rooftop bar. But I still hold it because I love this place."
I'm gaping. "This is lo's?"
"Take me." He said laughing at my reaction. "Quick auxiliary. Even dumbly."
Karin and I approached them. "Make what, anyway?"
"Tonight we roast the meat. Special recipe from Hajoon. You know, Koreans like to roast." Karin Sahut. Get ready to help arrange the items on the round table that will be our seat tonight.
"Seriously? Well.." I'm really enthusiastic. Besides the location, gathering with them like this, I like it.
"There was Vita there."
Hajoon started talking. He put up the grill and cleaned it.
"...He's at Arsya's house, it just so happens to be Ariva's neighbor."
Kai and Karin looked at me. Makes me a bit nervous, but quite familiar with the situation.
It was getting dark, the beautiful lights were already on. The sound of the meat hiss on the grill sounded interspersing. But I have to tell you a lot.
"So, are you the same big Arsya together?" Kai asked suddenly round his eyes after listening to my story.
I'm just telling you about me growing up in Arsya's orphanage. But I didn't tell you how close Arsya and I were to getting suspicious of them. Yeah, reasonable. Anyone is difficult to accept there are men who often play into women's rooms. As I explained, they will think differently. In reality, Arsya and I are nothing more than friends in need. Ah, no. I'm the only one who needs it.
"How come the rich don't know each other?" Hajoon asked as he busily flipped through the pieces of meat.
"Because I want that. Justjust.. Vita knew it because she came there and saw me."
"Pantes, have you ever been together." Karin manggut-mangut understand.
"As for Vita, he really wants to come here." Hajoon. He smiled after saying the name of the woman. Whoa, what's going on?
"He's never been here?" My toot.
Kai shook his head. "You're the first people I invited. Anyway, he used to invite me to bring him here. But yeah, it hasn't been."
That, yeah. So I was considered close to being brought here?
"Shift deh, Va, deket me." Karin started picking up her phone and recording our activities.
That night, it was so exciting. We joke around while eating Korean food that Hajoon made himself. Until I don't feel the time has shown at 8 p.m. And my phone rings.
"Arya?"
Karin was able to read the name on the screen because I never picked up the phone. After that incident, can I still be ordinary to Arsya?
"Why not get picked up?" Ask Karin again. I stared at the screen until the ring was gone.
"It's important." I answered while still staring at the screen. Arsya's message came in, asking for my whereabouts. Take dinner? Crazy, yeah. I didn't know Vita was there either.
"Eumm. still wants dessert, no. I'm the one who's buying." Males came home quickly, I invited them to stop for a while somewhere else.
"Lo's sure?" Ask Karin.
"Why?"
"Okay, how come we're looking for dessert. But I'm the one who's buying." Connect Kai.
"Loh, I'm the one who asked. I'm dong, the deal." I said and again they saw each other.
God, I forgot who I was in front of these rich people.
"Don't worry. I have money. Cuss!" I move first. I know they are confused, even if they finally comply.
We got out of the building in Hajoon's car. Karin and I sat in the back, and Kai in the front with Hajoon driving.
"Lo sure about it, Bo? Our choice is not cheap, lo." Kai said warning me to be self-conscious. But I was not aware, but challenging.
"The most expensive place is nothing."
Silent. Until finally Hajoon stopped at a pretty classy place.
We sit at one table. Without any burden Kai looked at the menu and ordered right away. While Hajoon and Karin looked awkward.
"Ashik, treated to Pabo. If I was pesen.. Aww!" Kai grimaced towards Karin who was sitting beside me. Looks like Karin kicked Kai's leg earlier.
"Why, anyway? Order it, I pay." I said again, reassuring.
"Not that, Va. I don't want you to spend your savings on this. Nothing, we pay." Say Karin carefully. Makes me chuckle slowly.
Well okay. Finally I took something out of my wallet, put a titanium black card on the table.
His third eye was wide. I mean, I didn't mean to show off. They don't believe me, anyway, if I have money.
"Pabo, you don't macem the same thing." Tukas Kai quickly.
Hajoon also followed. "Yes. I don't want to take a police officer because you help have people."
"Yeah!! Jugeullae??" (HEY, WANT TO DIE, YEAH!)
"Y-yes??" Hajoon's eyes widened to hear my words. Shocked, because the usual words are not polite. After all, I'm upset.
"Va, lo.. seriously got this?" Ask Karin slowly.
I sighed, until I finally decided to tell him what happened to me that this orphanage boy.
Frankly, I don't know as well as Papa. But a few days ago he who was in Indonesia sent this thing to me as an inducement because I did not want to meet.
"So, actually you still have complete parents huh, Va?" Karin asked and I nodded.
"Gue was escorted to a home run by Arsya's family when I was 4 years old. Bokap and nyokap I still come even once a year. I never heard of why I was put in a home. But said Mama Arsya, my parents divorced because nothing else. Trus no one wants to ngasuh me because both are busy going to and fro war career. Nintuin who is most able to survive and become rich in an instant."
All three are focused on me. Hearing the sad story of a child who was abandoned because of the ego of parents who attach importance to wealth.
"I'm 5 years old, last I met Mama even though she still routinely send me a decent amount of monthly money. While Papa still wants to see me even if every two years. Up until 5 years ago, I had never been visited at all. And yesterday, sister Tari who took care of us the orphanage, kasi tau if Papa I'm here again and give this to me." I said glancing at the black card located on the table.
"Gue knew my parents were rich because of the huge monthly money from both. But I don't understand why I didn't get picked up until I gave up and didn't expect anything else. I don't even want to see them." Obviously, by shrugging my shoulders.
A silent atmosphere, Karin touched my shoulder and smiled bitterly at this sad story.
I smiled at him. "Ngga. I'm used to it."
"Sorry yes, we had a chance to ngeremehin lo."
"Law, anyway. Who would believe a home kid had this?" I'm holding the card. "Quick the message, I'll pay."
"Haha. Siaaap boss. I don't hesitate now to choose the expensive." Tukas Kai finally.
The conversation that night was getting better. Especially since there is openness between us.
~
"Tomorrow to play again, Vaa.." Karin waved at me from inside the car. They drove me to the front of the parlor.
"Guys, about that. please secret, yes." I said before I walked in.
"Yes. Promise won't be told to anyone." Karin brandished her tiny little pinkie.
I waved my hand and their car drove away from the compound. Heh. Relieved too.
I turned back into the courtyard, but my steps came to a halt when I saw Arsya standing on the balcony of her house with both hands in her pants pocket.
His eyes looked at me expressionlessly. I know, I just read a message from him without any intention of replying. Maybe now he's upset. It is up to me not to care and choose to enter the house because my annoyance at him is still very much felt.
