That's not what he wants. Never crossed his mind would use anyone including Kendra. The man was present and offered a shoulder to lean on as he suffered destruction. The man also forced their relationship, he never asked for it. Is it wrong to not keep a promise?
Unfinished he wrestled in his heart and mind, Harvey led him closer to Kendra.
"Hi," said Harvey arrogantly. His arms were increasingly tightly coiled around Maura's waist.
"What's up," said Kendra flat. The eagle's eyes couldn't turn on Harvey's fingers, which occasionally rubbed Maura's hips.
"Just want to say hello, we often take the same classes but rarely chat. It just so happens that we pass by and see you here, what's the harm in saying hello." Harvey doesn't care about Kendra's cynical smile. He enjoyed the reaction of his half-brother.
"Then, hi, too" he said coldly.
"Oh yes, I want to thank you yesterday for accompanying my future wife." Harvey gave an affirmation to his sentence, as if to put a limit on Kendra for her property rights.
"Wife candidate? You mean that shoulder-length brunette who comes here often and kisses you in public? I don't feel like I'm accompanying her." Kendra laughed cynically.
Harvey was not affected by Kendra's insinuations, he still smiled arrogantly.
"It is not necessary to explain who the woman you were with yesterday. Honey, have you thanked him?" Harvey turned his head towards the nervous looking girl beside him. His fingers tucked hair behind Maura's ears.
"That's it, Harvey." Maura brushed Harvey's hand off slowly. He could no longer afford to be under Kendra's sharp gaze.
"Why, Honey. You have to thank Kendra, she's very kind to both of us. I'm really glad I have a friend like her." Harvey's hand patted Kendra's shoulder quite hard.
"I'm in class first." Regardless of Harvey's grasp, Maura immediately fled away from the two men.
"Do you see? He can't be far from me, Ken. Just so you know, he'll still be mine."
"You want to have it by hurting him? I don't understand your way of thinking."
"You can never agree with me, because we are from different strata" Harvey brought his face closer to Kendra and added in a snide whisper in front of her half-brother's face, "Between honorable offspring with a son of a whore."
"Fuck!" Kendra is advancing. His hand snatched Harvey's front shirt. He could never contain his emotions if his mother was insulted.
"Why, Ken. Just hit it, let everyone know where you're from. A child born from a mud pit like you, doesn't deserve to be here. You're just lucky my dad still thinks you exist." Harvey's getting worse at Kendra.
The goal is that his stepbrother was emotional to beat him up, then exposed to a warning letter from campus and provoked the anger of his Papa who had financed him. Despite being of the same descent, he never liked his Papa to devote attention to Kendra as well. He felt his position as the only child threatened the existence of his unwanted brother.
Kendra's jaws clashed against each other to resist the bubbling emotions in her chest. Revenge and jealousy become one. His hands were clenched beside his body. His brain said it wanted to immediately finish off the man who was smiling haughtily before him, but his heart asked him to think with a cold head.
Kendra threw Harvey's body into the building's support pillar. His breath was stung with a straight and sharp look.
"I won't dirty my hands, because I still appreciate Papa's blood flowing through your body."
"Don't call him your Papa! He's not your father, your mother was never acknowledged!" Replace Harvey's emotions. His high ego sense makes him not like his own recognized by others especially Kendra rivals.
"The fact is that Mr. Bramantyo Aditomo is my birth father. His blood runs through my body." Kendra smiled triumphantly.
"I remind you bastard, never approach my future wife again!" threaten Harvey with the index finger pointing right at Kendra's face.
"We'll see later. I won't let Maura get soiled by your hand either." Kendra brushed off Harvey's hand that was right in front of her face.
"I think it would be very well received, considering I am also a descendant of the venerable Mr. Bramantyo Aditomo." Kendra tucked both her hands in her pants pocket. His smile mocked Harvey who was getting heated up.
"Oh yeah, which wife-to-be do you mean? Make no mistake, maybe you mean that brown-haired girl who often wrestles with you in the apartment. If you mean Maura, you're wrong because she's my future wife." Kendra's smile widened to see Harvey who was more dazed to hear his words.
"I'll make a calculation with you if you dare to approach her, Ken." Harvey raised his index finger right in front of Kendra's face.
"Yes, yeah, yeah, whatever my future wife says." With ease Kendra lowered Harvey's hand and then left from there.
"Where are you going, I'm not done yet!" hardik Harvey's.
Kendra turned around and said as she walked back, "What else is it going to take? my classes are about to start and after that I have to teach my future wife how to cook. We'll continue later, my dear brother." Kendra immediately turned and ran before Harvey pulled and beat her.
Harvey snarled and kicked at the pillar that was nearby. He always lost a fight with Kendra. His stepbrother was very good at playing his emotions.
Although he can overcome Harvey, Kendra's heart and mind are still not calm. He chose to miss college and waited for Maura in front of his faculty building. He didn't want his steps preceded by Harvey. He is convinced and intends to seize and save Maura from the clutches of his half-brother.
Kendra stood in the trees watching if Harvey had the same intention.
"Hey, it's done. Yuk, go home." Without warning, Kendra immediately held Maura's hand as soon as the girl left her class.
"You?" Maura looked up unexpectedly.
"Yes, i. Why?"
"Remain here?" Maura observed his hand that was within Kendra's grasp.
"Get my girlfriend."
Maura followed Kendra's steps with a dragged step. His eyes were looking for someone among the many students among them.
"Who's looking?"
Maura shook her head with a frown.
"Come on." Kendra pulled Maura's hand so that the girl would walk even faster.
"Ken, stop first!" Maura pulled her hand until Kendra's steps came to a halt.
"What's wrong? Who are you waiting for? Harvey?" cecar Kendra's.
"I was leaving with him, I promised to go home together, too" Maura's great-grandson with eyes still looking for someone.
"Mola, if I take your hand off now, maybe I won't be able to hold it anymore." Kendra looked sadly at their hands clasped together.
