Home For My Heart
Malicious

The knock on the door that asked to be opened, turned into a bang that finally forced Maura to open the door of her room.

"What's wrong?" Maura peeked out from the crack of the door that was still stuck with the chain lock. Four hours after they met in the elevator, Harvey came to him.

"Do we have to talk at the door like this?"

"What do you want to say? Want to say that I have to be patient to see a scene like that every day?"

"Open up first, Maura. It's not good to see our people fussing outside like this." Harvey tries to push Maura's door.

"Well, there's no need to talk then." Maura will close the door, but Harvey keeps it from closing completely.

"Why are you?" Harvey's voice is rising.

"Why are you here, satisfied?" reply Maura with glazed eyes.

"Okay, okay calm down. Let's talk good. Why did you suddenly move here?" Harvey tried to suppress his emotions. Luckily his desire had been channeled to Reva earlier, otherwise the door to Maura's room had been broken.

"Why indeed? I just want to be close to campus."

"Of the many apartment options around campus, why did you choose here and on the same floor as me? Do you not trust me anymore and want to spy on me?"

"Can't I be close to you even if it's just a room lined up. Did I seem to bother you when you were with your affair earlier? I'm still your girlfriend, aren't I Harvey?" Maura screamed hysterically. They were still talking from behind the narrow door.

"Ssttt, calm Maura. This is what I don't like if you see me with him. You can't control your emotions. I told you, I'm just playing for a little while for my parents' sake, don't let our relationship be known and derail everything. He's not my affair, Maura, nothing happened to him. You still believe me?" Harvey's hand slipped on Maura's face.

"I don't know if I should believe you or not. I can't keep looking at you and that woman with each other like that." Maura cried with Harvey's hand holding her cheek.

"You tortured yourself by moving here. It's good that you move to another place huh, honey," woo Harvey.

Maura shook her head firmly, "I don't want to. I want to always be close to you, it's okay if I have to see you with him as long as you keep your promise that this is only a skit and temporary."

"Maura, listen to me. You can screw things up if our relationship is discovered. Our marriage could fail. You move tomorrow, dear." Harvey's hand on Maura's cheek felt a little tightened.

"I'm staying here, I won't bother you." Maura persisted.

"Sh it, Maura! You have to move tomorrow!" Harvey's gentle strokes turned into hard grips on Maura's cheeks and jaw.

"I don't want to!" Maura brushed off Harvey's hand and closed the door to the room, causing the man's hand to be squeezed.

"Damn it, Maura! So stubborn of you!" Harvey grimaced in pain. His feet kicked and Maura's room door and cursed the girl.

Maura walked back and sat down on the edge of the bed. She was terrified to see her ever-soft lover, turn violent and angry. He could still hear Harvey's voice cursing at him as he walked back to his room.

Early in the morning Maura had left for college, she was still afraid to meet Harvey because of his attitude last night.

"Hey." Hera's clap on his shoulder made Maura surprised, "Stretch right."

"What's wrong?" asked Maura lazily.

"I'm the one who should be asking, what's wrong with you. Since breaking up with Harvey, you've been like a zombie."

"I haven't completely broken up with him, Her." Maura's eyes glared far away.

"Take her fiance to college?" Maura's consciousness returned, she turned to Hera with a look of disbelief.

"Yes, these days the girl is often waiting in the medical building. This morning, I saw them sitting in the garden of their faculty. Your ex's friend, he already knows everything. Never mind Maura, move on you is beautiful. Guys who know you broke up with Harvey, are already in love. Hey, Maura, where are you going?"

Maura ignored Hera's voice calling out to her. His chest was hot, filled with anger. He did not expect Harvey would bring the woman in the same neighborhood with him. All this time that he knew and they agreed on together, Harvey and the woman's fake relationship was only around his family. If the news of his engagement reaches his friends, it does not matter if not the person!

True to what Hera said, he found the woman sitting in the park with Harvey and his friends. Maura squeezed the straps of her sling bag, she braced herself to be present in their midst. He wanted to test and see the reaction of his lover, if he suddenly appeared when the man was with his fiancee.

The laughter of the people gathered in the park, gradually subsided. Harvey's friends elbowed each other, as soon as Maura walked up to them. Harvey's face stiffened immediately.

"Harvey." Maura's eyes focused on the reaction of her lover's face pretending not to see her coming.

One of his friends, poked Harvey and coded with his eyes. Inevitably Harvey raised his head and looked at Maura.

"I want to talk."

"Who, Honey?" Maura could hear the woman whispering with her body docked to Harvey.

"Child design, I asked him to make an example of practical space design. Just a minute." Harvey walked over to Maura.

"Night spoken to do not want, why should come here? You want to get in trouble? Come back later we'll talk" whispered Harvey firmly.

"I want to talk now."

Harvey, who had turned around and was about to return to Reva's side, stopped his steps.

"Dec, later on yes the discussion, we still have business. If there is a picture, it can be seen first." Reva approached the two. His hands always spontaneously wrapped around Harvey's arms.

Maura's eyes were fixed on Reva's chest, which was very tight on Harvey's arm. His girlfriend was silent and seemed ordinary.

"I'm a girlfriend, Harvey. We plan to get married after she graduates." The sentence just slid from Maura's mouth.

"really?" Reva looked at Harvey and Maura in turn.

"What are you talking about?" Harvey laughed discordantly, "Don't be surprised, some of the female students here are notoriously brave and aggressive." Harvey whispered to Reva and Maura could still hear him.

"Harvey." Maura hissed disappointed.

"Sorry, Dek, but we're engaged." Reva showed me the ring on her ring finger.

"I know, but our relationship was a lot longer before you came along and screwed things up!"

"Maura!"

"Ah, Harvey this is so embarrassing. I'm like the guy's man-capturing woman here. Finish your business with him and prove to me that what he's saying is bullshit, that you still want to continue our engagement." Reva hid her face from the curious gazes of the students with their commotion.

Harvey looked at Maura furiously, then spat into the grass right in front of the end of Maura's shoes and said "Stop bothering me again."
