After school Ashifa followed her mother and grandmother to the shophouse. He put his bike next to the parking lot. While passing through several shophouses he saw a child who spoke bluntly that the other day met near the house of Nafisa.
Actually the face of the child is not foreign to Syifa, because it often passes in an alley to the village occupied by the court dalem. However, he did not know his name because he had never said hello before.
Syifa was hiding behind a wall of shophouses some distance away from the boy. It was seen an adult male pushing the child even about to hit him.
However, the man stopped his actions when he realized he was in a public place and many pairs of eyes were looking at him.
Syifa immediately shut her mouth and almost wanted to scream, as the man kicked the boy to the ground.
Oh, God, who is that man? why was he so rude to treat the boy? shifa in the heart.
“Sana go! brats are usually just asking for your money!” he said while shaking his waist with his face.
The boy painstakingly stood up while holding his waist that was hit by a kick. Her eyes were red, but she was not crying. Slowly he went outside the building.
Syifa gave up her intention to visit Fatimah's grandmother's shop. He decided to follow the boy because he felt pity and was curious about the state of the child. Syifa was moved to comfort him.
As the boy sat alone on the porch of the back door of the building, Syifa came up to him and sat down next to him.
“Nih, drink!” syifa said while thrusting a cup of guava juice in front of the child.
The boy turned his head and looked sharply at Syifa.
“This too, let's take it! You must be thirsty, right? At least with a refreshing drink and chocolate candy will improve your mood that is not good,” Syifa said while putting her chocolate candy in the palm of the child's hand.
Without saying much the boy immediately drank the juice until it was gone, then returned the empty cup to Syifa's hand.
Syifa immediately rounded her eyes with the child's actions. “Wah-wah, you did not leave me one bit and returned the trash to me,”.
Syifa then stood up to the trash can not far from where they were sitting, to dispose of the garbage. Then he sat back in his place.
“You didn't even say thank you!” syifa said to the boy.
“You are not sincerely grateful? your own fault, I didn't ask him why you gave me your juice!” answer's indifferent.
Syifa shook her head in astonishment, she did not understand why this child was so annoying. Always say as you please without thinking about the feelings of others, and be indifferent to him even if he has been treated well.
“Ck ... have you always been such a bitch!?” said Syifa who became anxious to tell the truth, her opinion of the girl.
“Good, just say your opinion honestly about me, no need to be pretentious in front and swearing in the heart. I'm already pretty immune to swearing and maki poisons that are much more painful than this!” he leaned his shoulder against the wall.
“My name is Asyifa, just call Syifa. What's your name?” ask Syifa, then read the name of the chest in the school uniform of the child. “An-ti-ka,” ejection.
“That name is too good for you, you better be called the crybaby!” sesame as he pleased.
“That name is a prayer, my grandmother painstakingly thought of that name when I was born, it's good that you changed it as you please!” deny Syifa who disagrees.
“Iya, bring!”
“Syifa!”
“Syi-fa!” syifa said in Antika's ear with anxiety.
That's how the two kids started to make friends. Both have the same fate, which is shunned by children who are the same age as them in their respective environments.
Syifa is self-conscious if she is shunned because she lives in an Arab village even though she is not of Arab descent. Especially because Syifa has an unclear family background. Meanwhile, Antika was shunned for his blunt words.
Maybe that's why indigenous children are reluctant to play with him. Although according to Syifa, what Antika actually said was an honesty and courage to express his opinion.
After much chatting, Antika started to open up a little and answered correctly when Syifa asked. Apparently the man who was scolding Antika was his father. Antika said it was commonly done by his father. So no need to worry.
However, still for Syifa the treatment of Antika's father was quite creepy. How can a father be so cruel to his son. Luckily though he had no papa, Fatimah's mother and grandmother always loved him.
"Sir, I'll go to the toilet first, okay?" Syifa.
"Yes!"
Syifa immediately went to the toilet and finished her needs. As he was about to return, someone suddenly touched his butt.
Syifa immediately turned to look back for the culprit. It was seen that one of the adult men winked with eyes while smiling mockingly at him. The irritated Syifa immediately walked away from the man, but when she looked back at the man, she still followed him from behind. Syifa became very frightened as she continued to be followed. He ran with a ridge to his place.
Arriving outside turns out Antika no longer exists. Syifa became confused as the man continued to approach Syifa with a smile. Syifa was getting cornered with their distance getting closer.
Bugh!
A nervous Syifa stumbled to the floor.
It was even more profitable for the men who had been chasing Syifa. The man held Syifa's hand and drew closer.
"Please! help!" syifa shouted for help.
Syifa tried to keep the man from kissing her. Syifa was crying and very scared. He did not expect that in public places there were people who were so determined to do something inappropriate to him.
Fortunately, not long after a mother came to attract the man. A security guard also came to hold the man's body.
"Bad boy! don't do that! why do you always embarrass your mother!" said a mother while looking annoyed at the man who attacked Syifa.
"I'm sorry, Dek. My son is mentally retarded. Please understand!" the mother said and took her son away together.
Syifa did not know what to say, she was still very frightened and her breath was stifled. For him this was a very disturbing bad experience.
Suddenly Antika came and embraced him. "What's up, Fa?" tanyakanya.
"I'm scared! I'm scared, Tik!"
Antika hugged him then rubbed Syifa's back to calm down. After Syifa calmed down, Antika drove Syifa to her grandmother and mother.
