I'm a Qualified Old Virgin

I'm a Qualified Old Virgin
The Story of the Past

According to the schedule that has been made, after lunch Syifa will meet with her clients. Before the meeting Syifa took the time to read the file that had been given Dina before.

Apparently this is a murder case that has occurred several years ago. Now the son of the victim demands that the suspect who is his uncle in the law for his actions in the past.

Some make Syifa a little surprised when reading the name of his client. Because the name reminds him of someone. However, Syifa tried to shake him off. Don't many people accidentally have the same name as everyone else? thought.

Tok tok!

"Lake in!"

"Mbak Syifa, the client has arrived!" Dina.

"Good please come in, Din!" syifa.

Then two men came into the room of Syifa. Dina invited her guests to sit on the living room sofa in the room Syifa.

Tak.

The map that Syifa was holding immediately fell down just as her client opened her glasses.

Iqbal! cry Syifa in the heart.

For a moment the two sat in silence. Iqbal only found out if the veiled woman in front of him was Syifa through the look of his eyes that were very familiar to him.

"Ekhm, can I sit down!" said Iqbal while breaking his view as if he did not know Syifa before.

"Please, Sir!" dina replied kindly.

Syifa immediately picked up the file of the fallen map.

"Bu Syifa, meet me Tom, Mr. Iqbal's personal assistant!" tom opened the conversation in a friendly manner.

Syifa clenched both hands in front of the chest to refuse to subtly shake hands with Tom.

Tom swiftly pulled back his hand. He almost forgot if the lawyer is a Muslim woman who is very guarding not to come into contact with the opposite sex. As per rumors, Syifa is a known lawyer. In other words, he does not accept bribes to turn the facts upside down.

Iqbal already had a personal lawyer. However, suddenly his lawyer suffered serious illness that resulted in his death shortly after being treated in hospital. Until finally Iqbal had to find a replacement lawyer to handle his case.

They also began discussing the murder of papa Iqbal several years ago. And Syifa was flabbergasted when she found out that Iqbal's uncle was papa Iqbal's adoptive brother who was Devan's father. The one who had given Syifa unforgettable bad memories. That means Syifa will meet with Devan again when handling the case. This makes Syifa again remember the dark events she had experienced before.

After discussing they signed a power of attorney. Thus Syifa officially became the legal counsel of Iqbal to deal with the murder of his father.

"Mr Iqbal, before leaving the room can I have a four-eye talk with you?" syifa Pinta.

"Dina, you can come out. But don't close the door!" syifa's Word to Dina.

"Well, Ma'am!"

After they both died Syifa stood towards her work chair to give a safe distance.

Iqbal just quietly watched quietly while crossing his legs and leaning on the back of the sofa despite guessing what Syifa was going to talk about.

"So all this time you and brother Devan are brothers? and you didn't report Devan's actions back then because you wanted to protect him from the law?" ask Syifa firmly.

"It can be said that way. As you know. I became an orphan at the age of ten. After that, my uncle took care of me. There wasn't much I knew about my real family background until I grew up and met my nanny as a child."

"At that time, I only understood that my uncle was my only family. In order to return the favor to her who had taken care of me, I obediently obeyed her orders to keep an eye on Devan. And my job is to clean up the mischief Devan did without anyone knowing if we're brothers."

"Up until now I knew the truth after meeting my nanny as a child. He said that my uncle was only my grandfather's adopted son. And my uncle was the one who had caused both my parents and my twin brother to die!" iqbal tells of his bitter past.

"Then, what happened to me at that time? you were the only witness in that incident, and you just disappeared without explaining anything to me!"

"I'll make sure Devan hasn't done that to you yet. I paid people to thwart Devan's actions that were about to harass you. After he lost and left then I went in to see your situation at that time. But, you take it easy even though I saw you without a thread I didn't touch you. I could only cover your body with the jacket I was wearing at the time until an old woman was seen walking into your yard. That's where I escaped through the window in your kitchen."

Syifa was trembling to hear that. There is a sense of pain again remembering the fateful event until he had to lose Fatimah's grandmother whom he loved so much. However, there was relief after knowing the true facts of the event. At least he knew that he was still holy.

"You should have explained what really happened to me back then. A lot of bad things happened to me because of that. I was even depressed because of my ignorance. And the one who came at that time was my grandmother. He died of a heart attack after seeing how I was!"

Iqbal was shocked to hear it. All this time he did not know what Syifa experienced after the fateful event. He and Devan's family have moved to Surabaya since then. There was a sense of guilt Iqbal felt for not telling Syifa what really happened. And the word sorry also felt useless after hearing what happened to Syifa.

"You can go!" syifa said as she stood to the window that showed the situation outside her office. He did not want to show his crying face. Because the event is still very deep in his mind.

Iqbal slowly got up and walked out of Syifa's room without saying a word.

On the way home in the car. Iqbal was still silent thinking about that.

"Tom, give me personal data about the woman's lawyer!" iqbal. While at the restaurant, he was not interested to see the data provided by Tom about Syifa. Of course he was just as surprised as Syifa, when he met in his office just now. However, he tried to remain calm and hide his surprise in order to keep his wife in front of everyone.

"Did you know Miss Syifa before, boss?" ask Tom.

"Don't ask too many questions, Tom. Just focus on the road ahead of you!" Iqbal said because Tom was driving his car.

"Good, Boss!" His assistant was instantly silent as Iqbal seemed to not want to be disturbed. Because he knew that his boss did not like to joke.
