I'm a Qualified Old Virgin
Getting Closer

In the morning as usual Syifa helped her mother to pack the finished cakes into the box to be taken to the shophouse. Rosa sells from 9am to 15:00am. Sometimes if you are lucky, there is no need to wait for the afternoon so that Rosa has returned home because the merchandise cake has been bought by buyers. However, not infrequently also deserted buyers and had to return with the remaining cake. Such is the joy of being a trader, the results of the acquisition are not certain, but Rosa remains grateful as long as not to lose.

After selling with two boxes left, suddenly Farida's mom walked quickly towards him.

"Ros, it just so happens that you're home. I'm you still no leftovers?" ask Farida as she walks closer.

"Em .. still, Ummi. There are two boxes left. Ummi need a lot?" asked Rosa while removing two boxes of Ontbijtkoek cake from the white crackle bag she was about.

"Alhamdulillah, it just so happens that there are friends of Ummi who visit after Umrah. Ummi take both, Ros. One to serve and the other to give a hand" Farida said with a happy smile.

"Oh yes, Ummi. It's please!" Rosa poked the pouch in front of Farida.

"Ummi take it first, Ros. The money will be delivered by Alika!" farida.

"Yes, Ummi. Please!"

Rosa smiled with relief. Finally the trade was up already without rest. He hurriedly entered the room. Syifa, who was reading a book, turned her head as she opened the door.

"Assynnya!" rosa said as she walked into the room.

"Vaalaikumussalam. Mama, you're home. Well, sellin' yes, Ma?" syifa asked while looking at her mother's hand that looked empty.

"Alhamdulillah, Fa. There were two remaining pieces, until the front in the Ummi Farida intercept, continue to be pushed all," said Rosa while sitting on a carpet while leaning on the wall.

"Alhamdulillah. But, ummi Farida bought that much for what, Ma? alika had also taken one box," asked Syifa.

"For his guests' hands, Ummi said. Oh yes, Mama wants to pray first run out it wants to fall back. Mama bought a side dish for dinner. So you don't have to cook, Fa!" rosa says.

"Okay, Ma!"

Syifa looked at her mother who passed into the bathroom. She wanted to work so she could ease her mother's burden. However, until now he has not found a suitable job vacancy.

Several times his father contacted him to return to Surabaya and asked Syifa to stay in Surabaya. But Syifa did not want to. He did not want to get his mother in trouble again with his wife. Despite living a simple life in this city, Syifa was quite happy despite having to exchange all the facilities obtained from her papa, as long as she could stay together with her mother.

Her father told her that her relationship with her family had improved. His wife and son have returned home. Syifa was also happy to hear it. That's why Syifa does not want his presence back in the city will make the household of the father again not harmonious. It may take some time for his wife to accept the fact that Syifa was her husband's son.

Later Edward asks Syifa to open an account at the bank so that Edward can send him monthly money, but Syifa is still reluctant. He was worried that his father would not be honest with his wife about it.

By late afternoon Syifa came out of the room to water the flowers in front of her bedroom terrace. Today she does not have to cook, so there is free time to take care of her flowers.

Suddenly a guitar playing melodiously interspersed with discordant sounds from behind. The room rented by a boy who was still sitting on the High School bench was never quiet because he often brought his friends home.

"She's a green-hooded girl, my heart is blown away.... Not only is her face beautiful, she's kind, she's beautiful ...."

Syifa who was wearing a light green hijab at that time immediately frowned. Because he had heard the song once in a while, and the lyrics should be veiled red instead of green. He was sure that they were teasing him right now.

Athaghfirullah! shifa in the heart. He patiently chose not to look at them or to bully them. Because if they respond they will certainly be more excited.

Syifa wants to go into the room so as not to cause things that are not desirable. His mind glanced back at the events he had once experienced. Devan who continues to tease him with his fights, to the point of acting out of bounds makes his chest feel painful when remembering it again.

However, he had not had time to enter the room Alika screams made him undo his intention to enter the room.

"Sir ...!"

From the back look ummi Farida walked slowly following Alika's steps.

Syifa just smiles behind her niqob to see the behavior of those who do not want to be reprimanded for making a row at the boarding house.

"Hey, Honey! Alika is beautiful!" syifa said when she saw Alika who had changed clothes and was fragrant.

"Yes, dong. Alika has taken a shower!" as for the boy.

"She's Miss Syifa, is there a mother?" ask Farida.

"Ada, Ummi. Just a moment Syifa call!" Syifa hurriedly went inside to call her mother.

Rosa rushed outside after taking an afternoon shower. "What's up, Ummi?" tanyakanya.

"Ros, this is the money!" farida said, handing over a red note from her pocket to Rosa.

"Thank you, Ummi!" rosa answered and then gave her change.

"Oh yes, there is something Ummi wants to tell you. So, my son wanted Syifa to be a tutor for Alika to learn Iqro' and murojaah to memorize his letters. In return, Hanif will pay your college semester money, son Syifa. Hows it? Ummi heard from your mama you used to go to college, right? continue your education, son. Like you're still young continue your ideals, son!" farida.

Rosa looked at her daughter. This is a good opportunity for Syifa. It was fortunate that they met good people during their stay here.

"How, Son?" ask Farida again.

Syifa looked at her mother as if asking for an opinion. Rosa nodded her head in response.

"Okay, Ummi. If Mama has agreed then I accept the offer, Ummi!" syifa.

"Alhamdulillah! I will tell this to my son, Son Syifa. Doesn't my son Syifa mind going to the same university where my son teaches? let Hanif take care of his administration!" farida.

"Wherever is the same, Ummi. Could go to college again, Syifa already feels very grateful!" syifa said, smiling happily.

......................

It didn't feel like a few months had passed. After college Syifa took a short break and cleaned up. After Maghrib he would teach Alika to read Iqro' and also memorize short letters in her house. Armed with the experience he taught in RA first, of course Syifa is not so difficult with the method of teaching toddlers who sometimes change their mood.

Sometimes Syifa gives interludes like playing or storytelling so that Alika does not get bored. It also gradually made Alika closer to Syifa.

Until Hanif began to be touched by the closeness of the two. Moreover, he knew on campus apparently Syifa was quite accomplished. Amazed him with the advantages of the veiled girl.

"Ummi, Mr. Hanif, I want to go home first!" syifa's exit when her time to teach Alika is over. Even at home Syifa called his lecturer as Pak.

"Thank you, son of Syifa!" ummi Farida answered.

"Assynnya!"

At that moment, a guest came to visit.

"Wa'alaikumussalam!" Hanif opened the door. "Arjuna, come on in!"

Hanif immediately invited his sister-in-law to enter the house.
