After leaving the Aditama building, Rasti turned to Alin's residence. He wants to meet a prospective daughter-in-law who he says is in shock due to the actions of his son.
“Din, take me to the James family home!” pinta Rasti to the driver.
“Good, Bu.” Syamsudin nodded obediently, then at speed was driving the car to where Rasti ordered.
Before arriving at James' house, Rasti asks his driver to stop at a fresh fruit shop. He bought some fruit parcels as a hand to meet his best friend.
A few minutes later, Rasti arrived in front of the gate of James' residence. He got out of the car shortly after the driver parked his car in the yard of the house is quite spacious.
“Bu Rasti,” greet one of Alin's maids who know Kenan's mother very well.
“Iya, Bi. Inside Father and Mother is?” ask Rasti.
“There, Mom. Mr even from yesterday did not go to the office, because Non Vanesa sick.”
Rasti lowered her head while walking up the stairs to the main door of the mansion.
“Aunt see the incident?” rasti asked again, poring over the incident that his son had done.
The aunt nodded. “It was me and Mom who held the Father so as not to hit Den Kenan again.”
“What? James hit my son?”
The aunt nodded again. “Den Kenan also returned the engagement ring to Mr.” He told me everything he saw in the incident.
“Down. What are you doing?” muttered Rasti growled at the humiliating behavior of her son.
“Please sit, Mom. I'll call Nynonya,” said the Aunt.
Rasti just nodded.
Shortly after, James arrived. “There are guests apparently.”
“Mas,” greet Rasti on James. He stretched out his hand. However, James did not welcome Rasti's hand.
“Mas, I came here to see Vanesa. I also want to apologize for what my son has done.”
James smiled bitterly. “Penan told you to come here? why didn't he come to see Vanesa and apologize in person?”
“Kenan is taking care of his company in Bandung, there is trouble there and it will probably take quite a long time.”
“Pean told you to come or is this your own initiative?” ask James again.
Rasti. “This is my initiative.”
“I guessed.” James smiled cynically. “It turns out the boy really has taken this decision.”
“Mas, I'm still not sure if Kenan is married. Kenan always tells me anything, let alone a wedding. If he gets married for sure he will ask permission from me.”
“Your boy, Race. No need for permission from you, she can marry herself.” James sat down casually across from Rasti. “I know your son very well. But what I don't think is who is the woman Kenan married, because so far the child has never been close to any woman except my daughter.”
“That's what I wanted to ask you earlier, but Kenan isn't in his office.”
“I can find out for myself,” said James coldly.
“Rasti,” call Alin from a distance, his footsteps walking towards Rasti who immediately stood to see the arrival of his best friend.
“Alin.” Rasti tried to hug her best friend as usual when they met. However, Alin did not welcome his embrace and chose to directly sit next to the husband.
“Dad, Vanesa still does not want to eat,” Alin told her husband.
“Lin, I want to see the state of Vanesa.” Rasti interrupts the conversation between Alin and James.
Alin and James don't understand Rasti's words. They just walked towards Vanesa's room, then Rasti followed him.
Right in the doorway, Rasti stood up and looked at Vanesa's terrible condition. Messy hair, puffy eyes and pale, that's the condition of Vanesa post-decided by Kenan.
“Van.” Rasti called out to the future daughter-in-law whom he already considered to be his own daughter. He hugged Vanesa's frail body.
“Mami Rasti.” Vanesa returned the hug, crying. The longer, Vanesa's cry grew louder.
“Darling, forgive Kenan. He didn't mean to say that,” Rasti said.
“Really, Mam?” asked Vanesa with sparkling eyes.
Rasti nodded. “Mami sure, she is just depressed with her work, so do this.”
“Ras, do not give Vanesa hope that may not happen,” exclaimed James, while folding both hands on the chest.
“Mas, give me time to settle this with my son. I'm sure it's just a misunderstanding and they'll be back as they used to be.” Rasti turned towards James and Alin.
“Really, Mam? Kenan will come back to me?” ask Vanesa again.
Rasti nodded and smiled.
“But your son said he was married, Ras.” This time Alin spoke.
“There is no evidence yet for that marriage. I've had people track down all the religious affairs offices, but Kenan's name isn't listed there.”
James remained silent. He also said that because he had asked people to track down the office of religious affairs and no name Kenan Aditama who was recorded as married.
“I'm sure it's just my son's wits not to get married. He is indeed the hardest to commit to,” said Rasti.
“Mami. Thank you.” Vanesa hugged his future mother-in-law, whom he considered to be his own mother.
“Yes, dear. now, don't torture yourself like this huh! Eat it, you'll be sick.” Rasti grabbed the plate that was on the nightstand, close to where Vanesa was sitting.
Vanesa smiled and nodded. Then, slowly Rasti feed the food to Vanesad's mouth and Kenan's former fiancee accepts Rasti's bribe.
James and Alin left the two women there. Vanesa's parents were quite happy because the princess finally wanted to eat, after two days she did not want to touch any food. Even all her modeling activities are neglected because she does not want to go out of the room.
“Now, Kenan where, Mam?” asked Vanesa on the sidelines to enjoy a bribe from the future mother-in-law.
“In Bandung, said Siska there is a problem when shipping goods to America.”
“Until when is he there, Mam?”
“Maybe three days, or at most five days.”
“After a time.” Vanesa Whine.
“Siska says something like that. Relax, Van. Arriving here, Kenan will meet. Okay.” Rasti fell and Vanesa smiled.
“Thank you, Mam.” Vanesa hugged Rasti again and Rasti received the hug affectionately.
