I'm Not a Seductive Woman
Meet Vanesa

After a very long journey, Kenan and Hanin finally reached Massachusetts. Kenan and Hanin passed through almost twenty-two hours drive to this city. I don't know what Kenan would do, if he went alone without taking his wife. Perhaps he will die of boredom or be struck by longing. But now, the twenty-two hour journey was short because all the way, there was Hanin's behavior that made him laugh.

“We're here?” hanin asked her faithful husband to embrace his wife.

They were sitting side by side in the passenger seat, enjoying a clear view of Boston.

Kenan. “Yes, we've arrived.”

Kenan saw the clock in his hand. The exact time here shows at four in the afternoon. If in Indonesia, four o'clock in the morning. There, surely Rasti and Kiara were still sound asleep.

The plane that Kenan was riding finally landed perfectly at this airport. Kenan asked his wife to get out of there. Hanin's footsteps came to a halt, as he felt a different air as he exited the plane. The cold air was already very pronounced, because they happened to come in the winter.

“Honey, put on your coat.” Kenan painstakingly put on a thick coat to Hanin's standing body.

Hanin turned to look at her husband. “Thank you.”

Kenan returned that sweet smile. “Here very cold weather. Don't go out without using this! Okay.”

Hanin smiled and nodded.

“Smart.” Kenan rubbed the rough tip of his wife's head, until it fell apart.

Then, waltzing out his legs first, leaving Hanin.

“Ken. ugly!” annoyed Hanin who saw the ignorance of the husband, so he had to tidy his hair back.

“Ayo walk! Lelet.” Kenan turned his head and smiled towards Hanin.

Hanin was annoyed and could only throw a punch into the air from behind Kenan. She was upset because her husband was sometimes very annoying. Error, not sometimes but often.

Hanin walked quickly, deliberately faster than Kenan and was about to precede him. However, it turns out that Hanin's steps were wrong.

“Sssstttt ..” call Kenan to Hanin who keeps his feet straight forward. They should have turned right. “Hanin, where are you going?”

Hanin's steps stopped and looked back at the husband standing there.he shrugged his shoulders, hinting to ask ‘what is it?’.

Kenan pointed towards the signpost of the road, until Hanin patted his forehead. He is not very good at speaking English. Since childhood he was better at counting than language or memorization.

Kenan smiled as he waited for his wife to step closer to him. He smiled more and more because of the ignorance of the wife.

“You didn't read the directions?” kenan asked as Hanin was already close in front of him.

Hanin shakes. Later, Kenan embraces his wife.

“Eatya, don't be pretentious.” Kenan laughed as he tightened his arms around Hanin's neck.

Hanin replied with a pursed lip.

“I know you don't speak English,” ledek Kenan.

“Can,” refutes Hanin who does not want to look stupid in front of the husband.

“Oh yes,” ledk Kenan again.

“Miss, broom your hand! ” said one of the women who was not old, after patting Hanin's shoulder from behind while pointing down.

Kenan took off his embrace and Hanin immediately turned his head, and followed the direction of the woman's eyes. Hanin immediately ran over and picked up his fallen handkerchief.

“Thank you, Miss,” said Hanin with a slight bow of her body, after taking the thing.

“Tuh I understand right?” hanin said to her husband proudly after having a little chat with the woman.

Kenan laughed and nodded. “Yes, my wife is smart.” Then, Kenan held back his footsteps. “But why did you take this thing again. Already fallen, must be dirty.”

Hanin directly stuffed the handkerchief into her bag.

“This is Kak Nida's gift. I bring this if I miss him,” said Hanin, making Kenan speechless.

It was a long time ago that his wife did not communicate with his brother. All because many things happened, so Kenan has not taken the time to bring his wife to visit his brother.

Kenan and Hanin stand in front of Logan International Airport. Shortly after, the black sedan stopped in front of them and Riza came out to Kenan.

“Sorry, Ken. I'm late,” said Riza as she shook hands with Kenan.

Kenan and Riza are indeed the same age and outside the office Kenan did ask Riza not to call him with the designation ‘Pak’.

“Hai Hanin's. How are you?” greeting Riza as she saw the woman standing right next to her boss and aggressively Kenan hugged his wife's waist.

“Ck, don't look at my wife for long.” Knock Kenan.

“Oh my God, Ken. You are positive once,” replied Riza limp.

“Come road!” kenan's orders, until everyone follows his footsteps.

Hanin laughed and scratched his non-itchy forehead. This is the attitude of the husband.

Then, they boarded the car that Riza was driving earlier. Kenan opened the car door for Hanin. Although Kenan's attitude often sucks, but the small attention that the man gave always made Hanin's heart melt.

“Live to hotel, Ken?” ask Riza.

“No, we go directly to the office first,” replied Kenan.

“Yes, from earlier on the plane has rested,” said Hanin.

“Oke.” Riza reinstated her car.

A few minutes later, they arrived in front of Kenan's not-so-big office building. Kenan and Hanin get out of the car and walk into the building. There Kenan has been welcomed by his employees and Kenan also introduced Hanin to those who are mostly Indonesian.

Hanin stayed in the husband's room for a long time. While Kenan leaves him out of nowhere, Kenan completes his work with Riza. Then, Kenan walked into the room. He found his wife in the middle of his own hood.

“Honey, you are bored here?” asked Kenan who was directly sitting on the edge of the sofa and embracing Hanin's shoulder.

Hanin nodded. “You are still a long time?”

“Yes, it seems like there are a lot of things I have to work on here. How about you go for a walk with one of my employees. Dia Vina part HRD.”

“Is he not busy?” hanin asked, staring intensely at her husband's face.

“No. I am currently only coordinating with Riza, the marketing, production, and finance department, as well as the head office in Bandung.”

Hanin smiled. “Good.”

Again, Kenan stroked the rough hair of the wife to a mess. He was happy to upset his wife. The lips of the wife who scowled, made her anxious and eager to be greedy.

“Ken, custom,” hanker Hanin and tidying back his hair.

Kenan laughed, then sat down in the chair.

Tok tok tok tok

Kenan's door was knocked by someone from out there.

“Log in,” says Kenan.

A woman appeared and entered the room.

“Father call me,” said the woman by bending her body a little.

“Yes. Vin. I ask you to accompany my wife around Boston,” replied Kenan.

“Oh, fine. Sir.”

“In the lobby, Hansel is waiting,” Kenan said again.

Hansel is an operational driver who works at Kenan's company, a young man who is still a student.

“Good, Sir.” Vina looked back obediently.

Hanin stood up and approached her husband. He peeped briefly at Kenan's cheek. “I stay a while yes, thank you.”

Hanin smiled sweetly at the husband and kissed his lips at a glance.

“Happy.”

Then, Hanin followed Vina's footsteps. They walked out of the building and boarded the car that Kenan had mentioned.

“Where are we going, Miss?” ask Vina.

“Cambridge,” Hanin replied.

She accidentally wrote down the address of Vanesa's uncle Kenan mentioned secretly, as they talked on the plane about her husband's former fiancee. Somehow he wants to see Vanesa to apologize directly for taking Kenan from him, as well as tell Riza whereabouts to Vanesa. He hopes Vanesa and Riza can unite and he wants to be the bridge between the two people, if possible.
