Chapter 17 SELFISH
Renata looked towards himself when he heard Bima's cry. His face blushed, the woman hurriedly climbed onto the bed and then covered her entire body with a blanket.
"The diamonds!" The voice of Bima was heard again.
Damnit damnit! Why did I forget to turn off my phone?
"I'm not done talking, don't turn off the phone!" bima Persingat.
"What else do you want to talk about?" Renata returned to directing her phone.
That handsome face looked very upset.
Bima momentarily stared at Renata. The corner of his lips was slightly drawn upwards although it was faint when he saw Renata who was now covering her body with a blanket.
"Why are you silent? He said he wanted to talk." Renata looked annoyed at the man.
"I just want to remind you, as long as I go on my honeymoon, you can't go anywhere without my permission!" bima said so selfishly, making Renata clench one hand.
"What do you mean, sir?"
"You know exactly what I mean, Renata.
"Sir, do you think I have no feelings? You tell me to stay home while you're having fun with your new wife, sir? Selfish!" Renata could no longer contain her frustration.
"No matter how selfish or not, obviously, I won't allow you anywhere as long as I'm gone!" bima resolute.
"Sir, are you aware of what you're saying?" Renata stared intently at Bima's handsome face on the screen of her phone.
"I am a maid in this house. There are many things that I need to buy outside the home, including monthly shopping for the needs of this house. Don't tell me, if you forget what I'm doing in this house?"
Bima was silent hearing Renata's words.
What Renata said was true, but the shadow of Renata leaving with Aldrian at the reception made him again feel annoyed.
"You can't be stupid, Renata. You can order all the necessities you need online via your phone!" Bima stared intently at the beautiful face of Renata on her phone screen.
"I'm not used to shopping online, sir. I-"
"Not much of a reason, Renata!" cut Bima fast, making Renata even more upset.
"I'll keep going shopping out."
"You ..-"
"The you-the-"
"I'm a human, not a robot. I'd be lying if I said I was okay. We don't love each other yet, sir. But still my pride was hurt to see the man who had just two weeks officially become my husband remarried to another woman."
"Renata, you-"
"Damn!" bima said when her phone screen suddenly blackened. He had not finished talking but Renata had already turned off his phone.
"Just look at you, Renata!" Bima clenched both of her hands as she tried to call several times, but the call was ignored.
Renata did deliberately let her phone ring without wanting to lift it.
When Bima came back to call Renata, her phone rang. Shinta called, asked her whereabouts and told her to return to the hotel room immediately.
With a feeling of annoyance, Bima stepped out of the place and immediately returned to the hotel to meet his second wife.
While at Abhimanyu's mansion, Renata is currently receiving a call from Aldrian.
The man said that currently there are job vacancies needed by Renata. Aldrian also said that he had found the house needed by Renata.
"The cafe belongs to my friend. He just opened a new branch and happened to be in need of employees" explained Aldrian.
"Are you sure they'll accept me?"
"of course. I told them all about you."
"Huh?"
Aldrian laughed at Renata's shock.
"Silence, Renata. I only told you about your work at Bima's house. After all, it's just a cafe not an office. Your job only serves guests who come there."
Renata nodded even though Aldrian did not see it.
"Hows it? Do you want to?"
