"What the fuck are you, Bima? How dare you all throw me out?" Haris yells at her daughter-in-law after they exit Renata's inpatient room. They were currently in Shinta's room.
"You are disturbing the patient's peace, therefore they drive you away," Bima replied casually.
"Who is that woman? Why did you choose to be with her instead of with your wife?" Haris shouted back. While Bima was immediately speechless hearing Haris's words.
In the past, Bima was very afraid if the secret of her marriage with Renata until it was known by Shinta and her family. But now he doesn't care at all. Whoa! Shinta also knows that she is married to Renata.
It seems that Shinta complied with her request not to tell Haris and Wilda that she was married to Renata.
"Why would you rather be there than accompany your wife who just fought to give birth to your child?"
"He's not my son!" Bima is no less screaming.
"Male! What do you mean that kid's not your son?" Haris shouted back.
"Shinta is your wife, of course that child is your child!" Haris's voice echoed. The middle-aged man was furious. He did not accept with Bima's words that did not want to admit his son.
"Because that child is not my son! He is Shinta's son with his mistress!"
"Male! Watch your words!" Wilda who had just been silent was also stirred by emotions. The middle-aged woman also shouted making Bima laugh cynically.
"Mama knows very well, who is the father of the baby but why is Mama still pretending?"
"Shut up, Bima!" Wilda looked at the face of her husband who was increasingly fierce to hear Bima's words. Wilda hasn't told her husband about Shinta. She kept it a secret because she knew how her husband was.
Haris would have punished Shinta had he known that Shinta had betrayed Bima.
"How can you think that the child is not your child, Bima, Shinta is your wife!"
"Shinta has betrayed me, Pa. The man had already admitted that the child born by Shinta was his son."
"What?"
"Papa can ask Mama and Shinta. They knew very well who the man who had impregnated Shinta before she married me." Bima stared intently at Shinta. So did Haris whose gaze now turned to his son and wife.
"Darling, you misunderstood. The banner lied to you. What the man said was not true." Shinta who had been silent to see the debate of the father and Bima, finally chimed in.
"really?" Bima stared intently at the woman he loved so much. The pain flowed into his heart space as he recalled Shinta's betrayal.
"Do you know, Shinta, I even did a DNA test on that baby without your knowledge."
"W-what?" Both Shinta and Wilda's eyes fiddled in surprise.
Haris is getting confused.
Bima took out an envelope from her shirt pocket.
Bima handed the envelope to Haris. Shinta and her mother looked worried.
"Shinta, today, and in this very second, I am your talaq. From now on, you're not my wife anymore."
"Male!"
Shinta and Wilda were shocked. Haris too. However, the middle-aged man was more surprised when he saw the results of the DNA test.
"I'll take care of our divorce in court soon."
"Five." Shinta looked at the man in disbelief.
"You're selfish, Bima! If you divorce me, you must divorce her too! You're angry that I betrayed you, but you yourself betrayed me first!"
"I married Renata before I married you, so I betrayed Renata because I prefer you, Shinta."
"Do you know, because I helped you, Renata's mother passed away. Because of you, too, Renata is now injured and missing her baby."
"If you didn't mean to harm Renata, you wouldn't have done anything wrong, and had I believed them that they didn't make you fall, at this moment Bu Yati would still be alive, and Renata is healthy too."
"You blame me? The accident happened because they did not pay attention to the road. They're sen-"
"If you didn't mean to harm Renata who ended up with the incident you fell, I definitely wouldn't blame them, Shinta."
"My love for you makes me unable to discern the truth. Had I believed in Bi Yati saying that Renata was innocent, she would not have come after me just to explain that her daughter was innocent." Bima looked at Shinta with pain in her heart.
"I love you, Shinta. I did everything for you. But it turns out you've been playing behind my back."
"Rome ...."
"Until you meet in court." Bima looked at Shinta and the two old men Shinta alternately, then left them without a word.
The man held onto his chest which felt tight. Bima then reinserted the envelope containing the results of the DNA test that he had shown to Haris.
The DNA test results can be used as evidence in court, when he sued Shinta divorce later.
I didn't expect that our marriage would end so soon, Shinta.
