I'm the Descendant of the Goddess Eat?
Chapter 18: Khan Vs Hans (Part 2)

The morning had come, a group of people gathered in the courtyard of the Khan mansion, most of them Youth-Drivers, but there were also some adults, elderly, and small children. Among them, Retia was the most conspicuous person with black hair and small eyes typical of the Sahara empire.

On Retia's shoulder hung a sky blue cloth as a sign that she was the one Khan recognized for her talent. In addition to Retia there are six other people who wear the same cloth on her shoulder.

Call it, Jordanian Sianas, 31 years old, a potato farmer who managed to attract Khan through the discovery: Growing Stone as a substitute for manure. Jordan took his wife and three children to Kansas after Khan promised to pay off all debts and offered him a job guarantee for his three children.

There is also, 44-year-old Marthinus Reygerd, a former Knight chief in the capital who was sacked after being accused of a mistake he did not commit. Khan brought Marthin to be the coach of the soldiers in Kansas. Marthin also took with him his wife and seven young hunters who studied with him.

In addition, there are also several others with their respective fields of expertise.

Immediately, from within the Mansion, five golden chariots appeared with white winged horses pulling them. A very beautiful, large, strong looking horse. Now it just feels that Retia is in a fantasy land.

"What is Pegasus?" retia asked Khan who was sitting next to Ron as the coachman of the carriage.

"What is pegasus?" Khan asked back.

"Ah, there is no. Please forget it." Retia answered. No matter what her name is, Retia still feels very happy to meet a creature that only she can find in fairy tales and legends.

Retia and the others began to ride one by one into the carriage, while their luggage was stuffed into the magic bag so as not to crowd the room.

Retia peeked out of the window of the carriage and saw Khan who was bouncing Pegasus in a language that Retia did not understand.

"Ron, please take a detour first so that Miss Retia can retrieve the item she left at the Hanshell Destramagi residence," Khan ordered after completing his spell.

"Good, Master!"

The carriage started to run, leaving the Mansion and the servants working inside. As everyone was busy getting to know each other, Retia instead ignored them and stared ahead waiting for the beautiful Pegasus to fly by.

Unfortunately be it Pegasus or Griffin, both of them can not fly without the help of magic, it is because their body frame is not hollow like birds. Unless Pegasus is a horse-like bird then it can fly, well.

...•••...

About five minutes away, they finally arrived in front of Hans' residence. Retia immediately came down and embraced Mary.

Retia went to take back her stuff still staying where it was the last time Retia put it. Well, there is also no one who can see and touch it in this world.

"Mary, where's Hans?" ask Retia. Leaving the only person who recognized her as a descendant of the Goddess felt cruel. Especially if Hans was not in the forest when Retia moved, Retia would have died to eat winged lizards or even large bears.

Mary's face paled and immediately guided Retia into a room. Inside, Retia sees Sylvi changing the bandage to Hans' two hands. "Is Hans hurt?" retia asked back to Mary.

"Yes, to Mr. Hans' two little fingers, cut off the night Miss Retia left. Unfortunately, the severed fingers could not be found, let alone the incident occurred in the forest of the Reona region. We can't send people to search." Mary explains.

Retia drifted in her mind. Hans was a strong man, Retia knew that from how Hans finished off the bear so easily. Obviously there is something strange especially what is cut off just two little fingers.

"What about the culprit? Have you been caught?" Retia had wanted to ask such a thing, but did not so after recalling about the curse in the Reona territory. Even if anyone enters the region, it must be just a madman who may be mad at the same level as Khan.

"I'm fine" he answered.

"Ah, right. I'm going to Kansas to build a cleaning products business there, I want to thank you for taking care of me all this time." Retia lowered her back ninety degrees and gave a bag of gold to Khan.

"Kansas, is that the newly reopened eastern city of Kansas? So, when are you leaving?" hans asked as he walked towards the crowded front yard filled with humans who were interested in Pegasus which was quite rare.

"I'll be berang—

Retia's speech was cut off, after Hans saw Khan who was right on his page. Hans directly lunged and punched him, but Khan was still able to avoid it even though the tip of his ear was exposed and reddened.

"You? Kos—

Not yet had Khan finished his words, Hans again attacked him blindly like a possessed man.

"Bas weird, if that's what you want, then let's play for a while." Khan drew out his sword and started swinging it towards Hans.

The two of them fought back from the ground to the air battle. The dust flew, disturbing the sight of all those who remained faithful in the embrace of Shock and Horror. Their heads kept buzzing issuing the same question signal, "What happened?" wondered.

Hans managed to get Khan's sword thrown, then landed a blow to Khan's chest, although Khan still had time to hit it with both hands. The injury was still heavy enough to halve his attack power.

"Do you still think, a sword is stronger than a fist?" hans said, mocking the paled look on Khan's face.

"Crazy, why is he so strong? Fuck, I've been holding it, but my two bones are cracked?" batin Khan's. Ever since their meeting that night, Khan had already felt that there was something strange about Hans. The power of his punch was absurd, without magic as well without technique, purely basic attacks.

"So you're serious now? Keke, since you unleashed your power I'll take out too, my demonic sword!"

Khan drew a sword out of empty air. Unseen, there were only patches of death aura that formed the appearance of a sword. It was crowded and full of darkness. Retia did not know why, but in her eyes, she could see a resemblance between the demon sword and the system book that gave her the ability. Similar, very similar.

"Something has changed?"

Hans pumped up all the muscles in his body. All of his power was now centered on his tightly grasped right hand. Now Hans had no more doubts in his heart. His determination was unanimous enough to get rid of Khan for endangering his presence as Mid Guardian, Hanshell Destramagi.

"Wanna try it? However, this time it seems like I won't stop with just my little finger." Khan smiled loosely, lowered his head and started walking one step at a time.

Khan then darted, cutting the air around him and freezing the morning dew grains. Hans was also the same, he started to twist his body, adding to the broken power of that crushing fist punch.

However, some time before the two bumped into each other, Retia was present in the middle and shouted to try to tear them apart, "Stop!!" he shouted, the girl's eyes were closed, her eyes were trembling, her support was numb. He was obviously very scared at the moment.

Hans turned his fist and hit the side of Khan's sword. Khan's slash became slipping and the distant slash cut down the large trees in the small garden. Khan intends to continue his attack again, but his head is hit by Retia with his supernatural frying pan.

"Please, stop!" screamed once more.
